Five perovskite ceramics samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the major phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascribed to the antisymmetric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancement in the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized samples were experimentally measured and compared with XCOM computational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experimental and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gamma shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding parameters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

Barbed Congruence of Asymmetry and Mismatch

The X calculus is a model of concurrent and mobile systems. It emphasizes that communications are information exchanges. In the paper, two constructions are incorporated into the framework of the chi calculus, which are asymmetric communication and mismatch condition widely used in applications. Since the barbed bisimilarity has proved its generality and gained its popularity as an effective approach to generating a reasonable observational equivalence, we study both the operational and algebraic properties of the barbed bisimilarity in this enriched calculus. The investigation supports an improved understanding of the bisimulation behaviors of the model. It also gives a general picture of how the two constructions affect the observational theory.

Constructing format-preserving printing from syntax-directed definitions

Transformations between source codes, such as refactorings and program analysis, are frequently used in software engineering. Typically, transformations are effectively implemented using an abstract syntax tree(AST) on the origin source code. However, a critical limitation of ASTs is the loss of layout information such as whitespace and comments, which can result in poor readability. To overcome this shortcoming, this paper proposes a bidirectional transformation(BX) method that maintains consistency in the layout between the origin and transformed. First, a section of origin source code will be translated to a concrete syntax tree(CST) that includes layout information. Second, to make the BX practical, a new method is constructed that matches an AST with its respective CST. Finally, to get a reasonable CST, a method to amend the CST is also provided. We prove that the BX is well-behaved, which implies that it satisfies both the Put Get and Get Put laws. Furthermore, we illustrate the correctness of the methodology by treating XML language as a case study.

Updatable timed automata with one updatable clock

Updatable timed automata(UTAs) proposed by Bouyer ***., is an extension of timed automata(TAs) having the extra ability to update clocks in a more elaborate way than simply reset them to *** reachability of UTAs is generally undecidable, which can be easily gained by regarding a pair of clocks as updatable counters. This paper investigates a subclass of UTAs by restricting the number of updatable clocks to be one. We will show that(1) the reachability of general UTAs with one updatable clock(UTA1 s)is still undecidable, and(2) that of UTA1 s under diagonal-free constraints is decidable, and the complexity is Pspace-complete. The former is achieved by encoding Minsky machines to the general UTA1 s, where two counters are simulated by the updatable clock. The latter is gained by regarding a region of a UTA1 to be an unbounded digiword, and encoding sets of digiwords that are accepted by a one counter automaton where regions are generated as the value of the counter.

Barbed congruence of the asymmetric chi calculus

The chi calculus is a model of mobile processes. It has evolved from the pi-calculus with motivations from simplification and communication-as-cut-elimination. This paper studies the chi calculus in the framework incorporating asymmetric communication. The major feature of the calculus is the identification of two actions: x/x and τ. The investigation on the barbed bisimilarity shows how the property affects the observational theory. Based on the definition of the barbed bisimilarity, the simulation properties of the barbed bisimilarity are studied. It shows that the algebraic properties of the barbed bisimilarity have changed greatly compared with the chi calculus. Although the definition of the barbed bisimilarity is very simple, the property of closeness under contexts makes it difficult to understand the barbed bisimilarity directly. Therefore an open style definition of the barbed bisimilarity is given, which is a context free description of barbed bisimilarity. Its definition is complex, but it is a well-behaved relation for it coincides with the barbed bisimilarity. It also helps to build an axiomatization system for the barbed congruence. Besides the axioms for the strong barbed bisimilarity, the paper proposes a new tau law and four new update laws for the barbed congruence. Both the operational and algebraic properties of the enriched calculus improve the understanding of the bisimulation behaviors of the model.

Preparation and Ablation Properties of W/TaC Cermet via in-situ Reaction Sintering Process

An attractive way to prepare W/TaC based cermet at a relatively low temperature was proposed and confirmed experimentally. The thermodynamics calculations indicated that the reaction between WC and Ta2O5was feasible at as low a temperature as 1 400 ℃. The experimental results showed that W/TaC cermet could be fabricated by in-situ reaction sintering process at 1400 ℃ for 2 h in vacuum. The open porosity and bulk density of the W/TaC cermet were 15.3% and 13.4 g/cm3. Further, the microstructural features revealed that W, TaC, and Ta2WO8were identified to be the main constituents of the W/TaC cermet. The mass lose rate and linear recession rate of the W/TaC cermet during an oxyacetylene torch test were 0.0048 g/s and 0.0233 mm/s, respectively. The high porosity, the presence of Ta2WO8phases within W/TaC and evaporation of WO3on the surface of the composite contributed to the decrease of ablative property when comparing with pure W.
