Innovation in forestry education is needed to address changing contexts of the positionality of *** is particularly signifi cant in the asia–pacifi c region,where deforestation and degradation are ***,the accessibility of high-quality forestry education to address changing regional and global contexts is lacking.A series of innovative sustainable forest management(SFM)open education resource(OER)courses were developed and implemented to improve the accessibility of SFM education to enhance teaching quality,curriculum,and research capacity of universities in the asia-pacifi c *** evaluate the SFM-OER program in terms of student experiences,this study investigated student achievement,perceived success of the pedagogical approach and instructional design,and perceived eff ectiveness of the learning activities in promoting active and transformative learning through the assessment of a 1,191-course feedback survey between 2018 and 2020,including the global *** study revealed that the program attracted diverse student demographics,including a higher proportion of female students majoring in forestry,ecology,and other environmental *** primary motivation to participate in the courses was to gain international experience,followed by the fl exibility of online learning,mandatory course requirements,and earning course *** were satisfi ed with the canvas learning management *** students spent less than 5 to 10 h of their weekly time in the course and agreed or strongly agreed that the workloads were *** refl ected positively on various learning activities and assignments,such as watching lecture videos,taking quizzes,reading and summarizing,having discussions,and peer review ***,they did not clearly prefer specifi c learning activities,signifying the importance of using diverse learning activities to satisfy diverse individual learning styles in online *** analysis contribute

In order to build a low-risk Fund of Funds(FOF), from the perspective of correlation, the principal component factor is used to improve the traditional risk parity model. Principal component analysis is used to decompose the underlying assets and generate unrelated principal component factors,and then the authors can construct a principal component risk parity portfolio. The proposed empirical results based on china’s mutual fund market show that the performance of principal component risk parity portfolio(PcRPP) is better than that of equal weight portfolio(EWP) and traditional risk parity portfolio(RPP). That is to say, not only the PcRPP in this paper has much lower risk than EWP and RPP, but also slightly better than EWP and RPP in terms of average return. Moreover, the study of dividing the underlying assets shows that the PcRPP in this paper is not sensitive to the underlying assets. The PcRPP in this paper is better than EWP and RPP for both the better performing funds and the worse performing funds. In addition, the empirical results on dynamic portfolio adjustments show that it is not appropriate to adjust asset allocation too frequently when the expected rate of return is calculated using the arithmetic mean.

Image semantic segmentation is an essential technique for studying human behavior through image *** paper proposes an image semantic segmentation method for human behavior ***,an end-to-end convolutional neural network architecture is proposed,which consists of a depth-separable jump-connected fully convolutional network and a conditional random field network;then jump-connected convolution is used to classify each pixel in the image,and an image semantic segmentation method based on convolu-tional neural network is proposed;and then a conditional random field network is used to improve the effect of image segmentation of hu-man behavior and a linear modeling and nonlinear modeling method based on the semantic segmentation of conditional random field im-age is ***,using the proposed image segmentation network,the input entrepreneurial image data is semantically segmented to obtain the contour features of the person;and the segmentation of the images in the medical *** experimental results show that the image semantic segmentation method is *** is a new way to use image data to study human behavior and can be extended to other research areas.

Desertification has been caused by various factors and is a major environmental problem and development bottleneck faced by the world. It is also a serious threat to ecological security and to sustainable economic and social development. As a stubborn world problem, focused on by the United Nations 2030 sustainable development goal 15.3, china aims to combat desertification by implementing the "eight-column fourbeam" strategy, and also suggest the "four-medicine"approach for global desertification governance. This includes the development of the United Nations convention to combat Desertification protocol, unified global compliance and compliance metrics; building a global observation network, and monitoring land changes based on remote sense; preparing the global natural desert(heritage) list, leaving the original deserts for future generations; initiating the global action of combating desertification, and striving to achieve a land degradationneutral world by 2030.

Encouraging citizens to invest in small-scale renewable resources is crucial for transitioning towards a sustainable and clean energy *** energy communities(LEcs)are expected to play a vital role in this ***,energy scheduling in LEcs presents various challenges,including the preservation of customer privacy,adherence to distribution network constraints,and the management of computational *** paper introduces a novel approach for energy scheduling in renewable-based LEcs using a decentralized optimization *** proposed approach uses the Limitedmemory Broyden–Fletcher–Goldfarb–Shanno(L-BFGS)method,significantly reducing the computational effort required for solving the mixed integer programming(MIP)*** incorporates network constraints,evaluates energy losses,and enables community participants to provide ancillary services like a regulation reserve to the grid *** assess its robustness and efficiency,the proposed approach is tested on an 84-bus radial distribution *** indicate that the proposed distributed approach not only matches the accuracy of the corresponding centralized model but also exhibits scalability and preserves participant privacy.

With Shift-Share Method, the study implemented an empirical analysis of Beijing's forestry industrial structure and its regional competitiveness around china from 2002 to *** results indicated that the development tendency of forestry industry structure will be gradually transferred from "primarysecondary –tertiary industry" into "tertiary-secondary-primary industry". As the study suggested that the basic position of the primary forestry industry should be strengthened and promoted, deep processing capacity and resources utilization of the secondary industry should be further developed, and the leading role of the tertiary industry should be further enhanced in accordance with the low carbon concept.

The time-dependent viscoelastic response of cement-based materials to applied deformation is far from fully understood at the atomic *** silicate hydrate(c-S-H),the main hydration product of Portland cement,is responsible for the viscoelastic mechanism of cement-based *** this study,a molecular model of c-S-H was developed to explain the stress relaxation characteristics of c-S-H at different initial deformation states,ca/Si ratios,temperatures,and water contents,which cannot be accessed *** stress relaxation of c-S-H occurs regardless of whether it is subjected to initial shear,tensile,or compressive deformation,and shows a heterogeneous *** plays a crucial role in the stress relaxation process.A large ca/Si ratio and high temperature reduce the cohesion between the calcium-silicate layer and the interlayer region,and the viscosity of the interlayer region,thereby accelerating the stress relaxation of *** effect of the hydrogen bond network and the morphology of c-S-H on the evolution of the stress relaxation characteristics of c-S-H at different water contents was elucidated by nonaffine mean squared *** results shed light on the stress relaxation characteristics of c-S-H from a microscopic perspective,bridging the gap between the microscopic phenomena and the underlying atomic-level mechanisms.
