In February of 2007,ArcelorMittal Eisenhiittenstadt placed an order with EBNER to increase the capacity of their galvanizing line(VZA2) built in *** furnace in question was radiant tube heated and mainly used to anneal and galvanize material for the automotive industry. The order comprises: -a radiant-tube heated pre-heating furnace with soak zone(RTH/S) -HICON jet cooler(HJC) -conversion of the soaking zone ahead of the"hot bridle"-associated upper and lower roll boxes with deflector rolls and connecting ducts new,more powerful air cooler beyond the zinc pot(APC) moving/reusing the up-pass of the existing gas jet cooler(GJC) In order to increase annual throughput from 420,000 t to 500,000 t,the radiant tube heated furnace section was extended by a total of eight ***’s newly developed HICON jet cooler(patent pending) uses a high gas velocity to cool the material from annealing temperature to zinc bath temperature extremely quickly. The maximum strip speed for galvanizing is 165 m/min,for galvannealing it is 135 m/min. The combustion system of the new EBNER radiant tube heated furnace was completed and commissioned by October 10,*** facility was shut down for seven days to eliminate a bypass and incorporate the new heating chamber into the facility. The totally modernized galvanizing line has been in operation since October 17,2008,and following a brief warm-up phase,has been producing up to 20%more galvanized steel strip of the highest quality.

These include energy costs and labour costs,but a significant factor is the cost of alloys and micro alloys such as Vanadium, which have traditionally been required to meet the mechanical *** increasing number of customers world-wide, who are currently using the micro alloying method for increasing the mechanical properties of the concrete reinforcement,are demanding alternative methods which to reduce or eliminate the cost for micro *** paper will analyse the requirements of the latest US and international standards,and discuss in detail the process advantages and limitations of techniques that can be used to reduce the production cost.

＜正＞ Since the 1960s, Stone Mastic Asphalt （SMA） pavement surfaces have been used successfully in Germany on heavily trafficked roads. Because of its excellent performance characteristics, road authorities in Germany as well as major European Countries quickly adopted SMA as a standard wearing course. As a consequence of an asphalt study tour in Europe of an American delegation in 1990, SMA test sections were constructed in several states in the United States. During the last few years, SMA has become one of the most popular asphalt pavements in Asia too, especially in China. This paper gives an overview of the history of SMA, its performance characteristics, its composition as well as its applications. We will illustrate China’s experience of adopting this state-of-the-art road pavement technology and will compare the different recipes for SMA mixes in China and three Asia Pacific Countries. This paper will also discuss the advantages of bitumen-compounded fibre pellets and the causes of fat spots which are one of the most objectionable occurrences in SMA mixtures.

＜正＞The production of high-strength steel grades used for example in vehicle construction,structural steel engineering and for pipelines is one of the major trends in hot *** increased strength levels of these steel grades enable a reduction in material volume while at the same time maintaining or increasing the load bearing of the application. These steel grades with improved properties make significantly higher demands on the manufacturing process with respect to plant and process *** paper introduces requirements and the solutions of SMS Siemag for the processing of high-strength steels in hot strip mills. The cutting of a high-strength steel transfer bar requires a high *** SMS Siemag developed shears for a transfer bar thickness of up to 80 mm. In the finishing mill,important preconditions are high rolling forces and ***,powerful interstand cooling devices in the finishing train enable an exact temperature control for thermo-mechanical *** tension loopers safeguard the rolling stability. In the strip cooling systems,mechanical properties of the strip are set by means of high cooling rates and an accurate control of the strip *** laminar cooling and the compact cooling device offer a large variety of cooling strategies for the production of high-strength steel strip. For the coiling of these materials,SMS Siemag developed the UNI plus *** is designed for X80 pipe grades up to 25.4 mm at full strip width and low strip temperatures.
