The efficiency of the aircraft Ice Protection Systems(IPSs)needs to be verified through icing wind tunnel ***,the scaling method for testing the IPSs has not been systematically established yet,and further research is *** the present study,a scaling method specifically designed for thermal IPSs was derived from the governing equation of thin water *** scaling parameters were adopted to address the heat and mass transfer involved in the thermal anti-icing *** method validation,icing wind tunnel tests were conducted using a jet engine nacelle model equipped with a bleed air *** non-dimensional surface temperature and runback ice closely matched for both the reference and scaled *** validation confirms that the scaling method is capable of achieving the similarity of surface temperature and the runback ice *** anti-icing scaling method can serve as an important supplement to the existing icing similarity theory.

This paper studies the riblet drag reduction effect for an infinite swept wing under a low Reynolds number using a large-eddy *** results show that the drag reduction ratio is not linear under different sweep *** maximum drag reduction ratio in this study is 9.5%for a wing with a 45°sweep *** local surface streamline angle and turbulence quantities are calculated to analyze the drag reduction *** results demonstrate that the riblets considerably suppress the Reynolds stresses above the wing upper surface,while the turbulence kinetic energy in the near wake is increased.A possible relaminarization phenomenon is observed at the middle part of the ***-two-dimensional flow structures are observed near the wall,and a peak frequency is considered as the dominant frequency of the region.

Transient receptor potential(TRP)channels are one primary type of calcium(Ca^(2+))permeable channels,and those relevant transmembrane and intracellular TRP channels were previously thought to be mainly associated with the regulation of cardiovascular and neuronal ***,however,accumulating evidence shows that those TRP channels are also responsible for tumorigenesis and progression,inducing tumor invasion and ***,the overall underlying mechanisms and possible signaling transduction pathways that TRP channels in malignant tumors might still remain ***,in this review,we focus on the linkage between TRP channels and the significant characteristics of tumors such as multi-drug resistance(MDR),metastasis,apoptosis,proliferation,immune surveillance evasion,and the alterations of relevant tumor ***,we also have discussed the expression of relevant TRP channels in various forms of cancer and the relevant inhibitors’*** chemo-sensitivity of the anti-cancer drugs of various acting mechanisms and the potential clinical applications are also ***,it would be enlightening to provide possible novel therapeutic approaches to counteract malignant tumors regarding the intervention of calcium channels of this type.

Objective: To apply lectin affinity chromatography and glycoproteomics-based LC-MS/MS to preliminarily investigate the possible potential plasma biomarkers of Opisthorchis viverrini(OV)-associated CCA in OV/dimethylnitrosamine(DMN)-induced CCA hamster model. Methods: Nine Syrian hamsters were divided into 3 groups as follows(n=3 each): normal(healthy control group); OV group; and OV/DMN group(CCA group). Pooled plasma samples collected from animals in each group at the 6th month post-infection with OV metacercarae were subjected to glycoproteomics analysis. Glycoproteins in the pooled sample from each group were initially isolated by concanavilin A(Con A)-based affinity chromatography. The expression of glycoproteins isolated by both enrichment methods were determined using LCMS/MS. Results: Among the 24 Con A-binding glycoproteins isolated, two proteins, N-myc downstream regulated gene 1(NDRG1) and fetuin-B(FETUB) were found up-regulated only in the samples from the OV and control groups, but not in the OV/DMN(CCA) groups. On the other hand, one protein, i.e., NSFL1 cofactor p47 isoform x3(NSFL1C) was found only in the samples from OV/DMN(CCA) and control groups, but not in the OV group. The remaining 21 proteins were upregulated in the samples from all groups. Conclusions: NDRG1, FETUB and NSFL1 C glycoproteins isolated by Con A-based affinity chromatography could be potential biomarkers for CCA. Plasma samples with negative for NDRG1 and FETUB proteins but positive for NSFL1 C are likely to be OV-associated CCA. Nevertheless, this conclusion remains to be confirmed whether this battery test can discriminate OV-associated CCA from other risk factors.
