Multistage strain-hardening behavior of ultrastrong and ductile lightweight refractory complex-concentrated alloys

Lightweight high-entropy alloys or complex-concentrated alloys have demonstrated great potential for engineering applications due to their high strength and ***,a weak strain-hardening ability and a limited tensile ductility remain their major ***,a multistage strain-hardening effect is developed to ensure a high strength and still a sufficient ductility in a rolled and annealed(Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14))_(98.5)Mo_(1.5)(at.%)lightweight refractory complex-concentrated alloy(M1.5A-LRCCA).This multistage strain-hardening behavior is related to the microstructure and the corresponding initial aver-age dislocation density and distribution by comparison with rolled and annealed Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14)(M0-LRCCA)and as-cast(Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14))_(98.5)Mo_(1.5)(M1.5C-LRCCA).The microstructure,with homogeneously distributed submicron precipitations,a moderate initial average dislocation density,and uniform disloca-tion distribution(e.g.,M1.5A-LRCCA),is susceptible to producing various deformation substructures,such as dislocation substructures(slip bands,Taylor lattices,microbands,DDWs),shear bands,and deformation twins,which results in the multistage strain-hardening *** method of achieving multistage strain hardening behavior through a microstructure modulation is significant for engineering applications of lightweight high-entropy alloys or complex-concentrated alloys,and it might be extended to other lightweight and high-strength alloys.

Dual precipitate simultaneous enhancement of tensile and fatigue strength in(FeCoNi)_(86)Al_(7)Ti_(7) high-entropy alloy fabricated using selective laser melting

Recent studies have indicated that precipitation-strengthened high-entropy alloys(HEAs)show superior mechanical performance and have been successfully fabricated by additive ***,the lack of fatigue and fracture research has limited the engineering applications of additive manufacturing *** work explored a dual precipitation-strengthened(FeCoNi)_(86)Al_(7)Ti_(7) HEA with excellent tensile and fatigue strength,prepared through selective laser melting and heat *** with the as-built samples,the tensile properties and fatigue endurance limit improved through aging by 48.7%and 3.%,*** strengthening mechanism and enhanced fatigue performance were clarified in *** improvement in fatigue strength was attributed to the improved resistance of the L1_(2) and L2_(1) *** deformation,the dislocation shear coherent L1_(2) precipitates reduced slip band energy and inhibited slip band expansion,while the L2_(1) particles acted as obstructions for further slip band propagation,severely limiting the rapid formation and propagation of crack ***-situ TEM cyclic tensile-tensile testing also clarified the fatigue crack growth behavior,demonstrating that crack deflection due to L2_(1) precipitate obstruction slowed down the crack growth rate and efficiently promoted the closure of the microcrack *** work offers im plications for a new strategy to develop additive manufacturing HEAs.

The rapid evolution of flexible electronic devices promises to revolutionize numerous fields by expanding the applications of smart ***,despite this vast potential,the reliability of these innovative devices currently falls short,especially in light of demanding operation environment and the intrinsic challenges associated with their fabrication *** heterogeneity in these processes and environments gives rise to unique failure modes throughout the devices'*** significantly enhance the reliability of these devices and assure long-term performance,it is paramount to comprehend the underpinning failure mechanisms thoroughly,thereby,enabling,optimal design solutions.A myriad of investigative efforts have been dedicated to unravel these failure mechanisms,utilizing a spectrum of tools from analytical models,numerical methods,to advanced characterization *** review delves into the root causes of device failure,scrutinizing both the fabrication process and the operation ***,We subsequently address the failure mechanisms across four commonly observed modes:strength failure,fatigue failure,interfacial failure,and electrical failure,followed by an overview of targeted characterization methods associated with each *** with an outlook,we spotlight ongoing challenges and promising directions for future research in our pursuit of highly resilient flexible electronic devices.

Surface plasmon assisted high-performance photodetectors based on hybrid TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag heterostructure

In this work,we reported a high-performance-based ultraviolet-visible(UV-VIS)photodetector based on a TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag *** particles were introduced into TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)to enhance the visible light detection perfor-mance of the heterojunction *** 3.0 nm,the responsivity and detectivity of TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag were 0.94 A/W and 4.79×109 Jones,respectively,and they increased to 2.86 A/W and 7.96×1010 Jones at 580 *** rise and fall times of the response were 0.19/0.23.and 0.50/0.57 s,***,at 580 nm,the responsivity of fabricated devices is one to four orders of magnitude higher than that of the photodetectors based on TiO_(2),Ga_(2)O_(3.,and other *** excellent optoelectronic characteristics of the TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag heterojunction device could be mainly attributed to the synergistic effect of the type-Ⅱband structure of the metal-semiconductor-metal heterojunction and the plasmon resonance effect of Ag,which not only effectively promotes the separation of photogenerated carriers but also reduces the recombination *** is fur-ther illuminated by finite difference time domain method(FDTD)simulation and photoelectric *** TiO_(2)@GaO_(x)N_(y)-Ag arrays with high-efficiency detection are suitable candidates for applications in energy-saving communica-tion,imaging,and sensing networks.

Wheat is a major staple food crop in *** and cost-effective wheat mapping is exceedingly critical for food production management,food security warnings,and food trade policy-making in *** reduce confusion between wheat and non-wheat crops for accurate growth stage wheat mapping,we present a novel approach that combines a random forest(RF)classifier with multi-sensor and multi-temporal image *** study aims to(1)determine whether an RF combined with multi-sensor and multi-temporal imagery can achieve accurate winter wheat mapping,(2)to find out whether the proposed approach can provide improved performance over the traditional classifiers,and(3.examine the feasibility of deriving reliable estimates of winter wheat-growing areas from medium-resolution remotely sensed *** wheat mapping experiments were conducted in Boxing *** experimental results suggest that the proposed method can achieve good performance,with an overall accuracy of 92.9%and a kappa coefficient(κ)of *** winter wheat acreage was estimated at 3.,895.71 ha with a relative error of only 9.3..The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach has been evaluated through comparison with other image classification *** conclude that the proposed approach can provide accurate delineation of winter wheat areas.

Crustal P-wave velocity structure in Lower Yangtze region: Reinterpretation of Fuliji-Fengxian deep seismic sounding profile

The finite-difference inversion method and RayInvr technique had been employed to inter- pret the wide-angle seismic reflection/refraction data of the Fuliji-Fengxian deep seismic sounding (DSS) profile in Lower Yangtze region, hence the velocity structure was acquired and conclusions were sum- marized as follows: (1) The velocity model along this profile can be divided into three large layers vertically (upper, middle and lower crusts) and six blocks laterally, and this velocity distribution agrees with the feature of stable platform. (2) The depth of Moho discontinuity is 3.―3. km. The thickness of the upper crust is 10.5―13.0 km, where the lateral velocity varies strongly, and the velocity increases to 6.2 km/s?1 at bottom. Besides, the velocity distribu- tions in the bottom layer of middle crust and lower crust have an apparent inhomogeneity. The velocity in upper layer of middle crust, lower layer of middle crust, lower crust and uppermost mantle is 5.9―6.2, 6.3.6.4, 6.6―7.0 and 8.06―8.29 km/s?1, respec- tively. (3. On two sides of the Tanlu fault belt (TFB), the mid-crustal velocity structure is quite different, nevertheless no apparent discrimination in velocity distribution and boundary topography exhibits in lower crust, hence it is inferred that the jiashan segment of TFB had probably cut through whole crust in the Mesozoic, and the fault behaviour in lower crust had disappeared due to the low viscosity produced by the orogenic extension or crustal bal- ance, while the fault features in the rigid middle-uppercrust have been preserved up to the present. (4) The moderate earthquakes with Ms > 5.0 nearby Zhen- jiang are related to the deep faults extending into the lower crust, and the earthquakes were probably induced by the energy been transferred from man- tle lithosphere to upper-mid crust along the deep faults, and aggregated at some preferable tectonic positions.

Vehicular emissions in China in 2006 and 2010

Vehicular emissions in China in 2006 and 2010 were calculated at a high spatial resolution based on the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, by taking the emission standards into consideration. China＇s vehicular emissions of carbon monoxide （CO）, nitrogen oxides （NOx）, volatile organic compounds （VOCs）, ammonia （NH3., fine particulate matters （PM2.5）, inhalable particulate matters （PMlo）, black carbon （BC）, and organic carbon （OC） were 3.,113.9, 4593.7, 683..0, 20.9, 400.2, 43..5,285.6, and 105.1 Gg, respectively, in 2006 and 3.,175.2, 5167.5, 7029.4, 74.0, 3.6.4, 417.1, 270.9, and 106.2 Gg, respectively, in 2010. CO, VOCs, and NH3.emissions were mainly from motorcycles and light-duty gasoline vehicles, whereas NOx, PMzs, PMlo, and BC emissions were mainly from rural vehicles and heavy- duty diesel trucks. OC emissions were mainly from motorcycles and heavy-duty diesel trucks. Vehicles of pre-China I （vehicular emission standard of China before phase I） and China I （vehicular emission standard of China in phase I） were the primary contributors to all of the pollutant emissions except NH3. which was mainly from China III and China IV gasoline vehicles. The total emissions of all the pollutants except NH3.changed little from 2006 to 2010. This finding can be attributed to the implementation of strict emission standards and to improvements in oil quality.

Heat dissipation is an important part of light-emitting diode(LED)filament research and has aroused constant *** this paper,we studied the thermal performance of flexible LED filament by numerical simulation and through *** heat dissipation characteristics of spring-like structure flexible LED filament were computed by finite volume method,and it was found that the chip junction temperature was closely related to the pitch and the bending *** effect of inclination angle of lighting LED filament was discussed because it is relevant to the spring-like structure flexible LED filament in *** results demonstrated that the temperature of the filament increases as the inclination angle improves.

An Experimental Study on Three Quaternary Phases in the Fe-Sn-Sb-S System: Pb-Free Franckeite, Pb-Free Cylindrite and (Fe, Sb)-Ottemannite s.s.

Experimental studies on the two solid solutions franckeite s.s. and cylindrite s.s. yielded among others thePb-free endmembers of franckeite and cylindrite respectively. In these endmembers the lead content of the twomineral phases are completely substituted by bivalent tin. A third phase, ottemannite s.s. with （Fe. Sb）-bearingcompositions, was further identified in the Pb-free 4-component system Fe-Sn-Sb-S. Pb-free franckeite andcylindrite could only be synthesized as homogeneous phases at high temperatures. The ottemannite s.s. was ob-tained at 600℃ but an extensive existing range was also confirmed at temperatures below 500℃. The phase relations were discussed in the pseudoternary subsystem SnS-SnS2-FeSb2S4. The following se-quence of Pb-free phases and phase assemblages were observed under increasing Sn4+content at 600℃:herzenhergite （SnS）+franckeite, franckeite, franckeite+cylindrite, cylindrite, cylindrite+（Fe, Sb）-ottemannite.（Fe, Sb）-ottemannite. （Fe. Sb）-ottemannite+berndtite （SnS2）. The assemblage cylindrite+berndtite was identi-fied in synthetic systems involving Pb. The phase Fe. Sb-ottemannite s.s. appears to be stable only under Pb-de-ficient and high sulfur fugacity conditions.

Objective:Testosterone deficiency may be a risk factor for lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS),and there may be a causal ink between the emergence of LUTS and the incidence of late-onset hypogonadism(LOH).We perfomed an epidemiologic study to investigate the association between symptomatic late-onset hypogonadism(SLOH)and LUTS in middle-aged and elderly rural Chinese ***:A total of 965 men completed a questionnaire and underwent a detailed physical *** Aging Males'Symptoms(AMS)scale was used to assess SLOH,and the International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS)questionnaire was used to assess *** reproductive hormone levels of testosterone,sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG)and luteinizing hormone(LH)were ***:A total of 965 males(mean age:56.3.±8.85,range:40-80 years)were recruited for the present study.A total of 20.93.(202/965)were diagnosed with SLOH.A total of 93.16%(899/965)had mild LUTS,5.18%(50/965)had moderate LUTS,and 1.66%(16/965)had severe *** SLOH patients,13.40%(27/202)and 3.90%(8/202)had moderate and severe LUTS,*** with severe LUTS had increased SHBG and LH compared with those with mild and moderate LUTS(P<0.01).Correlation analysis revealed that the AMS total score was positively correlated with the IPSS score(P<0.05).The prevalence of SLOH was significantly increased with LUTS severity In addition to the known effect of age,the results of mutiple regression analysis also showed that serum LH or SHBG appeared to have a weak link with SLOH and LUTS that requires etiological and biological clarification in our future ***:In this cross-sectional analysis of SLOH and LUTS,LUTS severity was significantly associated with hypogonadism ***,the prevalence of SLOH advanced with increasing LUTS *** SHBG or LH showed a positive correlation with SLOH and LUTS.
