P-induced electron transfer interaction for enhanced selective hydrogenation rearrangement of furfural to cyclopentanone

Optimizing the intrinsic activity of non-noble metal by precisely tailoring electronic structure offers an appealing way to construct cost-effective catalysts for selective biomass ***,we reported a P-doping bifunctional catalyst(Ni-P/mSiO_(2.)that achieved 96.6%yield for the hydrogenation rearrangement of furfural to cyclopentanone at mild conditions(1 MPaH_(2.,150°C).The turnover frequency of Ni-P/mSiO_(2.was 411.9 h^(-1),which was 3.2.fold than that of Ni/mSiO_(2.(12..2.h^(-1)).Detailed characterizations and differential charge density calculations revealed that the electron-deficient Niδ+species were generated by the electron transfer from Ni to P,which promoted the ring rearrangement *** functional theory calculations illustrated that the presence of P atoms endowed furfural tilted adsorb on the Ni surface by the C=O group and facilitated the desorption of *** work unraveled the connection between the localized electronic structures and the catalytic properties,so as to provide a promising reference for designing advanced catalysts for biomass valorization.

Tumor-protein 53(p53)is a transcription factor(TF)encoded by TP53(Trp53 in mice)and is a master regulator of tumor-suppressive programs'.Importantly,TP53 is the most frequently mutated gene in human cancer,and its loss of function contributes to tumor development,exemplified by variable p53 mutations detected in 50%-75%of pancreatic cancers.2.From these perceptions,a number of targets transcribed by p53 that confer tumor suppression have been ***,our understanding of how p53 prevents normal cells from initiating tumorigenesis is still *** complement this limitation,herein,we established a new approach to identify underlying effectors transcribed by p53 in normal physiology.

Fructose and glucose are often widely used in food processing and may contribute to many metabolic *** observe the effects of different doses of glucose and fructose on human metabolism and cellular communication,volunteers were given low,medium,and high doses of glucose and *** cytokines,glucose,lactate,nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NADH)and metabolic enzymes were assayed,and central carbon metabolic pathway networks and cytokine communication networks were *** results showed that the glucose and fructose groups basically maintained the trend of decreasing catabolism and increasing anabolism with increasing *** with glucose,low-dose fructose decreased catabolism and increased anabolism,significantly enhanced the expression of the inflammatory cytokine interferon-γ(IFN-γ),macrophage-derived chemokine(MDC),induced protein-10(IP-10),and eotaxin,and significantly reduced the activity of isocitrate dehydrogenase(ICDH)and pyruvate dehydrogenase complexes(PDHC).Both medium and high doses of fructose increase catabolism and anabolism,and there are more cytokines and enzymes with significant ***,multiple cytokines and enzymes show strong relevance to metabolic regulation by altering the transcription and expression of enzymes in central carbon metabolic ***,excessive intake of fructose should be reduced to avoid excessive inflammatory responses,allergic reactions and autoimmune diseases.

The pandemic of SARS-CoV-2.worldwide with successive emerging variants urgently calls for small-molecule oral drugs with broad-spectrum antiviral ***,we show that carrimycin,a new macrolide antibiotic in the clinic and an antiviral candidate for SARS-CoV-2.in phase III trials,decreases the efficiency of programmed–1 ribosomal frameshifting of coronaviruses and thus impedes viral replication in a broad-spectrum *** binds directly to the coronaviral frameshift-stimulatory element(FSE)RNA pseudoknot,interrupting the viral protein translation switch from ORF1a to ORF1b and thereby reducing the level of the core components of the viral replication and transcription *** carrimycin with known viral replicase inhibitors yielded a synergistic inhibitory effect on *** the FSE mechanism is essential in all coronaviruses,carrimycin could be a new broad-spectrum antiviral drug for human coronaviruses by directly targeting the conserved coronaviral FSE *** finding may open a new direction in antiviral drug discovery for coronavirus variants.

Considerable progress has been made in recent years to the development of sustainable polymers from bio-based *** this study,100%bio-based nylons were prepared via an integrated chemical and biological process from *** novel nylons were obtained by the melt polymerization of 3-propyladipic acid derived from lignin and 1,5-pentenediamine/1,4-butanediamine derived from carbohydrate *** to the concept is a three-step noble metal free catalytic chemical funnelling sequence(Raney Ni mediated reductive catalytic fractionation-reductive funnelling-oxidative funnelling),which allowed for obtaining a single component 3-propyladipic acid from lignin with high *** structural and thermodynamic properties of the obtained nylons have been systematically investigated,and thus obtained transparent bio-based nylons exhibited higher Mw(>32.000)and excellent thermal stability(Td5%>2.5℃).Considering their moderate Tg and good melt strength,these transparent bio-based nylons could serve as promising functional additives or temperature-responsive materials.

Heat stress is a major constraint to current and future maize production at the global *** and female reproductive organs both play major roles in increasing seed set under heat stress at flowering,but their relative contributions to seed set are *** this study,a 2.year field experiment including three sowing dates in each year and 2. inbred lines was *** set,kernel number per ear,and grain yield were all reduced by more than 80%in the third sowing dates compared to the first sowing *** viability,silk emergence ratio,and anthesis-silking interval were the key determinants of seed set under heat stress;and their correlation coefficients were 0.89^(***),0.65^(***),and-0.72.(***),*** pressure deficit(VPD)and relative air humidity(RH)both had significant correlations with pollen viability and the silk emergence *** RH can alleviate the impacts of heat on maize seed set by maintaining high pollen viability and a high silk emergence *** a warming climate from 2.2. to 2.50,VPD will decrease due to the increased *** on their pollen viability and silk emergence ratios,the 2. genotypes fell into four different *** group with high pollen viability and a high silk emergence ratio performed better under heat stress,and their performance can be further improved by combining the improved flowering pattern traits.
