Influences of Earth Incidence Angle on FY-3/MWRI SST Retrieval and Evaluation of Reprocessed SST

Sea surface temperature(SST)is a crucial physical parameter in meteorology and *** study demonstrates that the influence of earth incidence angle(EIA)on the SST retrieved from the microwave radiation imager(MWRI)onboard FengYun-3(FY-3)meteorological satellites should not be *** with algorithms that do not consider the influence of EIA in the regression,those that integrate the EIA into the regression can enhance the accuracy of SST ***,based on the recalibrated Level 1. data from the FY-3/MWRI,a long-term SST dataset was reprocessed by employing the algorithm that integrates the EIA into the *** reprocessed SST data,including FY-3B/MWRI SST during 201.-201.,FY-3C/MWRI SST during 201.-201.,and FY-3D/MWRI SST during 201.-2020,were compared with the in-situ SST and the SST dataset from the Operational Sea Surface Temperature and Ice Analysis(OSTIA).The results show that the FY-3/MWRI SST data were consistent with both the in-situ SST and the OSTIA SST *** with the Copernicus Climate Change Service V2.0 SST,the absolute deviation of the reprocessed SST,with a quality flag of 50,was less than 1.5℃.The root mean square errors of the FY-3/MWRI orbital,daily,and monthly SSTs,with a quality flag of 50,were approximately 0.82℃,0.69℃,and 0.37℃,*** primary discrepancies between the FY-3/MWRI SST and the OSTIA SST were found mainly in the regions of the western boundary current and the Antarctic Circumpolar ***,this reprocessed SST product is recommended for El Niño and La Niña events monitoring.

Cardiac energy metabolism disorder mediated by energy substrate imbalance and mitochondrial damage upon tebuconazole exposure

Tebuconazole exposure has been described as an increasing hazard to human *** increasing number of recent studies have shown a positive association between tebuconazole exposure and cardiovascular disease risk,which is characterized by the reduction of adenosine triphosphate(ATP)***,researches on the damage of tebuconazole exposure to energy metabolism and the related molecular mechanisms are *** the present study,male C57BL/6 mice were treated with tebuconazole at different low concentrations for 4 *** results indicated that tebuconazole could accumulate in the heart and further induce the decrease of ATP content in the mouse ***,tebuconazole induced an obvious shift in substrate utilization of fatty acid and glucose by disrupting their corresponding transporters(GLUT1.GLUT4,CD36,FABP3 and FATP1.expression,and significantly repressed the expression of mitochondrial biogenesis(Gabpa and Tfam)and oxidative phosphorylation(CS,Ndufa4,Sdhb,Cox5a and Atp5b)related genes in a dosedependent *** investigation revealed that these alterations were related to the IRS1.AKT and PPARγ/RXRα*** findings contribute to a better understanding of triazole fungicide-induced cardiovascular disease by revealing the key indicators associated with this phenomenon.

Manganese-based oxide electrode materials suffer from severe Jahn-Teller(J-T)distortion,leading to severe cycle instability in sodium ion ***,it is difficult to adjust the electron at d orbitals exactly to a low spin state to eliminate orbital degeneracy and suppress J-T distortion *** article constructed concentration-controllable Mn/O coupled vacancy and amorphous network in Mn_(3)O_(4) and coated it with nitrogen-doped carbon aerogel(Mn_(3-x)O_(4-y)@NCA).The existence of Mn/O vacancies has been confirmed by scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM)and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy(PALS).Atomic absorption spectroscopy(AAS)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)determine the most optimal ratio of Mn/O vacancies for sodium ion storage is 1.*** functional theory(DFT)calculations prove that Mn/O coupled vacancies with the ratio of 1.2could exactly induce a low spin states and a d~4 electron configuration of Mn,suppressing the J-T distortion *** abundant amorphous regions can shorten the transport distance of sodium ions,increase the electrochemically active sites and improve the pseudocapacitance *** the synergetic effect of Mn/O coupled vacancies and amorphous regions,Mn_(3-x)O_(4-y)@NCA exhibits an energy density of 37.5 W h kg^(-1.and an ultra-high power density of 563 W kg^(-1.in an asymmetric *** sodium-ion batteries,it demonstrates high reversible capacity and exceptional cycling *** research presents a new method to improve the Na^(+)storage performance in manganese-based oxide,which is expected to be generalized to other structural distortion.

Introduction:This study examines the seasonal and genetic characteristics of human metapneumovirus(HMPV)in Henan from 201. to ***:Samples from patients with acute respiratory infection(ARI)testing positive for HMPV were subjected to real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction The G gene was amplified and sequenced from these samples for epidemiological and phylogenetic ***:We enrolled 2,707 ARI patients from October 201. to March 2023,finding an HMPV positivity rate of 6.1.%(1.7/2,707).Children under five exhibited the highest infection rate at 7.78%(1.8/1.774).The 201. and 201. Plasmonic quantum dots modulated nano-mineral toward photothermal reduction of CO_(2)coupled with biomass conversion

Electrochemical CO_(2)conversion into value-added chemicals is a promising technology to solve the greenhouse effect and recycle chemical ***,the electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(e-CO_(2)RR)is seriously compromised by weak CO_(2)adsorption and a rough CO_(2)activation process based on the chemical inertness of the CO_(2)molecule and the formed fragile metal–C/O *** this paper,we designed and fabricated Au particles embedded in ZrO_(2).The configuration of Au particles being of positive charge and ZrO_(2)with negative charge is induced and generated by metal–support interactions(MSIs).As a result,Au/ZrO_(2)@C presents a big difference in the CO_(2)conversion compared with the known work,affording a formate yield of 1.2.5μmol·cm^(−2)·h^(−1.at−1.1.V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE),and a max formate Faradaic efficiency of up to 94.1.at−0.9 V *** superior performance was attributed to the activated Au–ZrO_(2)interface to form the Au^(δ+)*** insitu Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy and theoretical calculations show that the MSIs configuration can be inclined to the*OCO intermediate generation on Au^(δ+)species activating CO_(2)molecules and then accelerate the formation of the*OCHO intermediate in e-CO_(2)RR,thereby favoring the CO_(2)conversion to formate.

Laboratory and field evaluation of a low-cost optical particle sizer

Low-cost sensors are widely used to collect high-spatial-resolution particulate matter data that traditional reference monitoring devices *** addition to the mass concentration,the number concentration and size distribution are also fundamental in determining the origin and hazard level of particulate ***,low-cost optical sensors have been improved to establish optical particle sizers(OPSs).In this study,a low-cost OPS,the Nova SDS029,is introduced,and it is evaluated in comparison to two reference instruments—the GRIMM 1.-D and the TSI *** first tested the sizing accuracy using polystyrene latex ***,we assessed the mass and number size distribution accuracy in three application scenarios:indoor smoking,ambient air quality,and mobile *** evaluations suggest that the low-cost SDS029 rivals research-grade optical sizers in many *** example,(1.the particle diameters obtained with the SDS029 are close to the reference instruments(usually1.%)in the 0.3-5μm range;(2)the number of particles and mass concentration are highly correlated(r≥0.99)with the values obtained with the reference instruments;and(3)the SDS029 slightly underestimates the number concentration,but the derived PM_(2.5)values are closer to monitoring station than the reference *** successful application of the SDS029 in multiple scenarios suggests that a plausible particle size distribution can be obtained in an easy and cost-efficient *** believe that low-cost OPSs will increasingly be used to map the sources and risk levels of particles at the city scale.

The September 1., 201. Mw 8.3 Illapel, Chile Earthquake： characteristics of tsunami wave from near-field to far-field

On September 1., 201., an earthquake with magnitude ofMw 8.3 occurred 46 km offshore from Illapel, Chile, generating a 4.4-m local tsunami measured at Coquimbo. In this study, the characteristics of tsunami are presented by a combination of analysis of observations and numerical simulation based on sources of USGS and NOAA. The records of 1. DART buoys in deep water, ten tidal gauges along coasts of near-field, and ten coastal gauges in the far-field are studied by applying Fourier analyses. The numerical simulation based on nonlinear shallow water equations and nested grids is carried out to provide overall tsunami propagation scenarios, and the results match well with the observations in deep water and but not well in coasts closed to the epicenter. Due to the short distance to the epicenter and the shelf resonance of southern Peru and Chile, the maximum amplitude ranged from 0.1.m to 2 m, except for Coquimbo. In deep water, the maximum amplitude of buoys decayed from 9.8 cm to 0.8 cm, suggesting a centimeter-scale Pacific-wide tsunami, while the governing period was 1.-1. min and 32 min. Whereas in the far-field coastal region, the tsunami wave amplified to be around 0.2 m to 0.8 m, mostly as a result of run-up effect and resonance from coast reflection. Although the tsunami was relatively moderate in deep water, it still produced non-negligible tsunami hazards in local region and the coasts of farfield.
