High-energy-density Li-S batteries are subjected to serious sulfur deactivation and short cycle lifetime caused by undesirable polysulfide shuttle effect and frantic lithium dendrite *** this work,a controllable cage-confinement strategy to fabricate molybdenum carbide(MoC)nanoclusters as a high-efficient sulfiphilic and lithiophilic regulator to mitigate the formidable issues of Li-S batteries is *** sub-2 nm MoC nanoclusters not only guarantee robust chemisorption and fast electrocatalytic conversion of polysulfides to enhance the sulfur electrochemistry,but also homogenize Li^(+) flux to suppress the lithium dendrite *** a consequence,the MoC-modified separator endows the batteries with boosted reaction kinetics,promoted sulfur utilization,and improved cycling stability.A reversible capacity of 701.mAh·g^(−1. at a high rate of 5.0C and a small decay rate of 0.076%per cycle at 1.0C over 600 cycles are *** study offers a rational route for design and synthesis of bifunctional nanoclusers with both sulfiphilicity and lithiophilicity for high-performance Li-S batteries.

To prepare a highly efficient NiMo/Al_(2)O_(3) hydrodesulfurization catalyst,the combined effects of specific organic functional groups and alumina surface characteristics were ***,the correlation between the surface characteristics of four different alumina and the existing Mo species states was *** was found that the Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity can be used as a specific descriptor to quantitatively evaluate the changes in surface characteristics of different alumina.A lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity for alumina means weaker metal-support interaction and the loaded Mo species are easier to transform into ***,the Mo-O-Al bonds still exist at the metal-support *** introduction of cationic surfactant hecadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB)can further improve Mo species dispersion through electrostatic attraction with Mo anions and interaction of its alkyl chain with the alumina surface;meanwhile,the introduction of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA)can complex with Ni ions to enhance the Ni-promoting effect on ***,the NiMo catalyst designed using alumina with lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity and the simultaneous addition of EDTA and CTAB exhibits the highest hydrodesulfurization activity for 4,6-dimethyl dibenzothiophene because of its proper metal-support interaction and more well-dispersed Ni-Mo-S active phases.

The increase to the proportion of fluxed pellets in the blast furnace burden is a useful way to reduce the carbon emissions in the ironmaking *** this study,the interaction between calcium carbonate and iron ore powder and the mineralization mechanism of fluxed iron ore pellet in the roasting process were investigated through diffusion couple *** electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy was used to study the elements’diffusion and phase transformation during the roasting *** results indicated that limestone decomposed into calcium oxide,and magnetite was oxidized to hematite at the early stage of *** the increase in roasting temperature,the diffusion rate of Fe and Ca was obviously accelerated,while the diffusion rate of Si was relatively *** order of magnitude of interdiffusion coefficient of Fe_(2)O_(3)-CaO diffusion couple was 1.^(−1.) m^(2)·s^(−1. at a roasting temperature of 1.00℃for 9 ***_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5) was the initial product in the Fe_(2)O_(3)-CaO-SiO_(2) diffusion interface,and then Ca_(2)Fe_(2)O_(5) continued to react with Fe_(2)O_(3) to form CaFe_(2)O_(4).With the expansion of the diffusion region,the sillico-ferrite of calcium liquid phase was produced due to the melting of SiO_(2) into CaFe_(2)O_(4),which can strengthen the consolidation of fluxed ***,andradite would be formed around a small part of quartz particles,which is also conducive to the consolidation of fluxed *** addition,the principle diagram of limestone and quartz diffusion reaction in the process of fluxed pellet roasting was discussed.

Hard carbon anode has shown extraordinary potentials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)owing to the cost-effectiveness and advantaged ***,the widespread application of hard carbon is still hindered by the insufficient sodium storage capacity and depressed rate property,which are mainly induced by the undesirable pseudographitic ***,we develop a molten-salt-mediated strategy to regulate the pseudographitic structure of hard carbon with suitable interlayer spacing and enlarged pseudographitic domain,which is conducive to the intercalation capacity and diffusion kinetics of sodium ***,the optimized hard carbon anode delivers a high reversible capacity of 320 mAh·g^(−1.,along with superior rate property(1.8 mAh·g−1.at 2 A·g^(−1.)and stable cyclability over 1.00 ***,the in situ Raman spectroscopic study and full-cell assembly further investigate the sodium storage mechanism and practical implement of obtained hard *** work pioneers a low-cost and effective route to regulate the pseudographitic structure of hard carbon materials for advanced SIBs.

Effective utilization of dolomitic lead-zinc waste rock by replacing dolomite as flux in iron ore sintering process

With increasingly stringent environmental protection policies,cost-effective and value-added treatment of massive lead-zinc waste rock(LZWR)generated from the preconcentration process has attracted substantial attention.A type of dolomitic LZWR with 1. wt.%MgO,27 wt.%CaO,0.29 wt.%Zn and 1.43 wt.%S was used as a replacement flux in the iron ore sintering *** sinter pot tests were carried out based on an industrial ore *** results show that replacing 0%-60%of dolomite with LZWR does not adversely affect the sintering productivity,fuel consumption rate,and the quality of the sinter products,while the Zn and S elements contained in LZWR can be effectively removed with the residual Zn and S contents of the resultant sinter products being less than 0.02 and 0.055 wt.%,***,substituting LZWR for dolomite as a flux inevitably increases the SO_(2) concentration in the sintering flue gas due to its high sulfur *** the processing capacity of the sintering flue gas desulfurization system,the replacement ratio of dolomite can reach 40%,equal to LZWR consumption of 24.3 kg per ton of *** SO_(2) in sintering flue gas can be recovered to produce(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) or HSO_(4),while the volatilized Zn collected into the zinc-containing dust can be subsequently recycled by the rotary hearth furnace ***,it is technologically and economically feasible to use the LZWR as a replacement flux in the iron ore sintering process,providing a new way for the safe,large-scale and low-cost treatment of LZWR.

The food additive titanium dioxide is commonly utilized to enhance the appearance and flavor of food ***,this substance has been linked to gastrointestinal *** aim of this study was to investigate the impact of dietary exposure of titanium dioxide E1.1.on Listeria monocytogenes infection in *** were mainly divided into the control,LM group(*** infection),and E1.1.LM groups(E1.1.supplementation before *** infection).Pre-exposure to E1.1.resulted in increased bacterial counts in the liver,spleen,ileum,colon,mesenteric lymph nodes,and feces of mice after *** ***,E1.1.exposure increased the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines while attenuating the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines in mice infected with ***,mice in the E1.1.LM group exhibited considerably more severe colonic inflammation and worse intestinal barrier function than mice in the LM *** 1.S rRNA gene sequencing revealed a shift in the composition of the gut microbiota of mice in the E1.1.LM group,characterized by a decrease in the relative abundance of Firmicutes and a decrease in the Firmicutes-to-Bacteroidetes *** levels of acetate,butyrate,and isobutyrate were markedly decreased within the cecum of mice in the E1.1.LM group in comparison to mice in the LM *** conclusion,these results suggest that E1.1.exposure could exacerbate *** infection in mice,which may provide useful information for future risk assessment of this commonly used food additive.

CO_(2) emulsions used for EOR have received a lot of interest because of its good performance on CO_(2)mobility ***,most of them have been focusing on the high quality CO_(2) emulsion(high CO_(2) fraction),while CO_(2) emulsion with high water cut has been rarely *** this paper,we carried out a comprehensive experimental study of using high water cut CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion for enhancing oil ***,a nonionic surfactant,alkyl glycosides(APG),was selected to stabilize CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion,and the corresponding morphology and stability were evaluated with a transparent PVT ***,plugging capacity and apparent viscosity of CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion were measured systematically by a sand pack displacement apparatus connected with a 1.95-m long capillary ***,a high water cut(40 vol%) CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion was selected for flooding experiments in a long sand pack and a core sample,and the oil recovery,the rate of oil recovery,and the pressure gradients were *** results indicated that APG had a good performance on emulsifying and stabilizing CO_(2) *** inversion from H_(2)O/CO_(2) emulsion to CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion with the increase in water cut was ***_(2)/H_(2)O emulsions with lower water cuts presented higher apparent viscosity,while the optimal plugging capacity of CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion occurred at a certain water ***,the displacement using CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion provided 1..98% and 1..36% additional oil recovery than that using pure CO_(2) in long sand pack and core tests,*** work may provide guidelines for EOR using CO_(2) emulsions with high water cut.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Oil(GLSO)on the tumor growth and survival of H22 tumor-bearing mice treated with cyclophosphamide(CTX),and explore the underlying ***:Allograft H22 hepatocellular carcinoma mouse model was applied to investigate the effect of GLSO on the tumor growth and survival of animals,and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to analyze the life *** biochemical examination was used to determine the levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),urea(UREA)and creatinine(CRE).Western blot analysis was performed to detect Programmed Death-1.PD-1.,Programmed Death Ligand 1.PD-L1.,Janus Kinase 2(JAK2),phosphorylated Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3(p-STAT3),and Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3(STAT3)***:GLSO increased the anti-tumor effect of CTX and prolonged the survival of H22 tumor-bearing mice treated with ***,GLSO increased the thymus index and showed no obvious toxicity to liver functions of *** also decreased the level of UREA in H22 tumor-bearing mice treated with ***,GLSO could inhibit the expression of PD-1.in spleen,which was independent of JAK2 expression and STAT3 ***,GLSO did not affect the expression of PD-L1.JAK2,and p-STAT3 in tumor ***:GLSO could strengthen the anti-tumor effect of CTX and prolong the life span of H22 tumorbearing mice,while the underlying mechanism might be relevant to the amelioration effect of thymus function and inhibition of PD-1.expression in ***,these findings implied the promising role of GLSO in combination with CTX to extend the survival of patients in clinical chemotherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma.
