In this paper,single-phase homogeneous nanofluid model is proposed to investigate the natural convection of magneto-hydrodynamic(MIID)flow of Newtonian Cu—H20 nanoliquid in a baffled U-shaped *** Brinkman model and Wasp model are considered to measure the effective dynamic viscosity and effective thermal conductivity of the nanoliquid ***'s effective properties such as specific heat,density and thermal expansion coefficient are modeled using mixture *** complicated PDS(partial differential system)is treated for numeric solutions via the Galerkin finite element *** pertinent parameters Hartmann number(1≤Ha≤60),Rayleigh number(10^(3)≤Ra≤10^(6))and nanoparticles volume fraction (0% ≤Ф≤4%) are taken for the parametric analysis, and it is conducted via streamlines and isotherms. Excellent agreement between numerical results and open literature. It is ascertained that heat transfer rate enhances with Rayleigh number Ra and volume fraction 0, however it is diminished for laiger Hartmann number Ha.

A functional relationship between monothiol glutaredoxins and BolAs has been unraveled by genomic analyses and in several high-throughput studies. Phylogenetic analyses coupled to transient expression of green fluo- rescent protein （GFP） fusions indicated that, in addition to the sulfurtransferase SufE1, which contains a C-terminal BolA domain, three BolA isoforms exist in Arabidopsis thaliana, BolA1 being plastidial, BolA2 nucleo-cytoplasmic, and BolA4 dual-targeted to mitochondria and plastids. Binary yeast two-hybrid experiments demonstrated that all BolAs and SufE 1, via its BolA domain, can interact with all monothiol glutaredoxins. Most interactions between protein couples of the same subcellular compartment have been confirmed by bimolecular fluorescence complementation. In vitro experiments indicated that monothiol glutaredoxins could regulate the redox state of BolA2 and SufE1, both proteins possessing a single conserved reactive cysteine. Indeed, a glutathionylated form of SufE1 lost its capacity to activate the cysteine desuifurase, Nfs2, but it is reactivated by plastidial glutaredoxins. Besides, a monomeric glutathionyiated form and a dimeric disulfide-bridged form of BolA2 can be preferentially reduced by the nucleo-cytoplasmic GrxS17. These results indicate that the glutaredoxin-BolA interaction occurs in several subcellular compartments and suggest that a redox regulation mechanism, disconnected from their capacity to form iron-sulfur cluster-bridged heterodimers, may be physiologically relevant for BolA2 and SufE1.

The aim of this work was to develop an in vitro model to study mechanical compression effects on cartilage. A pressure-controlled compression device was used in this study. Cartilage explants obtained from human knee were compressed at 1MPa/1Hz for 7 hours (30 min ON, 30 min OFF) under normoxia (5% CO2, 21% O2) or hypoxia (5% CO2, 5% O2). Cell viability was analyzed while nitric oxide (NO) and glycosaminoglycans (GAG) release was assayed in culture media. Mechanical stimulation increased NO production and GAG release by human cartilage explants under normoxia and hypoxia culture. In normoxia and hypoxia conditions, mechanical stimulation alters human OA cartilage metabolism. There is also, an increase in matrix degradation after compression, as shown by levels of GAG found in culture media. This study put in evidence the importance of mechanical compression in the progression of the osteoarthritis and present and in vitro model for mechanobiological and pharmacological studies.

鞭毛推进游动是细菌寻找最佳营养源的有效运动方式之一.细菌鞭毛由鞭毛基体、鞭毛钩和鞭毛丝3部分构成,该结构的合成和组装由50多个基因参与,是在精密的时、空调控下进行的生物过程.对鞭毛结构和功能的认知主要源自对几个常见模式细菌的研究.近期,针对海洋趋磁细菌的研究结果揭示了一种新型鞭毛运动器官复杂的蛋白组成及其高度精致的空间结构.12种鞭毛蛋白经不同程度的糖基化修饰后装配成7根鞭毛,并与24根纤毛在一个鞭毛鞘中排列成7个相互交织的六角形阵列.目前,这种鞭毛结构只在海洋趋磁球菌中观察到,推测是这类细菌为了适应海洋沉积物生境,经生态分化演变的结果.这种精巧的结构对现有的鞭毛组装和运行机制模型提出了挑战,并将推进今后对细菌表面附属物的装配与演化的深入研究.

Tissue engineering is an emerging multidisciplinary field involving surgery medicine, biology, chemistry, mechanics and engineering to improve the health and quality of life by restoring, maintaining or enhancing tissue and organ function?[6;11]. The principle is simple: cells are collected and introduced -with or without modification of their biological properties- into an environment in which physico-chemical and mechanical parameters are kept stable. When they reach maturity, the biotissue or cells can be grafted. The main parameters are: cells, scaffold, biological molecules and mechanical forces. A combination of these parameters can promote cellular differentiation and proliferation. But it should be emphasized that at this time, signalling pathways and the rationale behind the physiological design remain to be elucidated. Among the main medium-term clinical applications are cardiac insufficiency, atherosclerosis, osteoarthritis, diabetes, liver diseases, bladder, and skin. In this paper the examples of cartilage and vascular engineering will be examined.

营养素度量法对于公共卫生措施的建立是一个强有力的工具,它旨在以营养素含量为依据对食物进行分级评价。英国食品标准局(FSA)的营养素度量法(FSA score)已在英国食物数据库中得以验证。但是这个模型是否适用于其它国家食物数据库则还未被评价。本研究旨在评价英国FSA score在法国食物成分数据库中的应用。来源于法国NutriNet-Sante研究的食物成分表的食品根据英国FSA score进行分类,FSA score是以英国通讯署(OfCom)的切点值(‘健康的'总分≤4的食品和总分≤1的饮料;‘不健康的'总分>4的食品和总分>1的饮料)以及分布切点值(五分位的食物,四分位的饮料)。也可根据法国PNNS(Pro-gramme National Nutrition Sante)推荐的食物组对所采用的食品进行分类。从NutriNet-Sante研究(n=4225)具有法国人群中典型的食物中抽取样品,并根据其相对消耗量称量食品。根据OfCom切点值的食物分类与法国PNNS的食物组分类一致:97.8%的水果和蔬菜,90.4%的谷物和薯类以及仅3.8%的含糖零食被认为是健康的食物。此外,FSA score的可变性对于在同一食物组中子分类之间的区分,证实了使用FSA score作为多重分类体系的可行性,例如作为正面营养素标签的基础。英国FSA score在法国食物成分数据库中的应用更好的弥补了目前公共健康的推荐标准。
