A novel method for the stability of a class of uncertain networked control systems with state delay and communication delay has been *** on the lyapunov stability theorem,a sliding manifold that can compensate delay has been designed by using LMI *** a guaranteed cost control law is given to make the sliding manifold ***,a numerical example is given to demonstrates the application and effectiveness of the proposed variable structure controller design method.

This paper proposes a new three-dimensional （3D） guidance law for the impact angles control,using the variable structure control *** order to study the problem of the precision guidance,the three-dimensional terminal motion of air- crafts is divided into the motion in the vertical plane and the bank *** the decoupling control of the guidance law is designed *** the linear optimal guidance laws are designed with terminal multi-constraint conditions of miss-distance,impact trajectory inclination angle and impact trajectory rotation angle,we let the linear optimal model act as the referenced model and take the linear optimal input as the reality system’s referenced *** the model matching condition,the guidance parameters are updated by variable structure laws to ensure high precision in the impact angle condi- *** simulations of the characteristic trajectory are *** simulation’s results show the variable structure guidance law based on adaptive model-following control is not only satisfied with the need of precision guidance and impact angular constraints,but also have excellent trajectory in terminal guidance.

This paper considers the problem of variable structure controller design for singular systems with disturbance in the case of incomplete state *** conditions of stabilization are established under the initial state of system is unknown in advance. Active queue management （AQM） can maintain smaller queuing delay and higher throughput by purposefully dropping packets at intermediate nodes. Most of the existing AQM schemes follow the probability dropping mechanism originating from random early detection （RED）. This paper develops a novel packet dropping mechanism for AQM through designing an ONOFF controller applying the variable structure control theory. Because the binary ONOFF controller can considerably simplify the manipulation on the AQM router, it is helpful for implementing the high performance router. The design principles of ONOFF controller are discussed in detail. The guidelines towards parameter settings are presented. The performance is extensively evaluated and compared with other well-known controllers through simulations and theoretical analysis. The results demonstrate that the ONOFF controller is responsive and robust against external disturbances, and is insensitive to variances of the system parameters. Therefore, it is very suitable for the time- varying network system, and at the same time, it can also keep the instantaneous queue length at a desired level with rather small oscillations, which is conducive to achieving the technical objectives of AQM.

The variable structure controller is designed for a class of nonlinear uncertain time-delay system by using robust observer, and incorporating H-infinity control technique, the controller can guarantee the H-infinity performance of sliding mode dynamics and satisfy the reaching condition, which also does not require uncertainties to satisfy matching condition and linear boundary condition. The simulation example is given to illustrate the method.

A novel control method has been proposed by using the genetic algorithm （GA） for nonlinear and complex plants. The proposed control strategy is based on a variable structure control, it overcomes the defects of other adaptive methods such as strong dependence to the system. A GA is used to learn to optimally select integral coefficient C. Simulation results verified the effectiveness of the controller. For position control of Direct Current （DC） motor in practice, this method has good performance and strong robustness, and both dynamic and steady performances were improved.

This paper reviews some main results and recent progress in distributed cooperative anti-disturbance control(DCADC) of multi-agent systems. Compared with anti-disturbance control in single systems, DCADC is more challenging because of the existence of coupling in multi-agent systems and the aim is to design distributed cooperative control based on the local information of each agent. This paper is concerned with some kinds of DCADC methods, such as distributed cooperative variable structure control, distributed cooperative sliding mode control, distributed cooperative disturbance-observer-based control, and distributed cooperative output regulation control approaches. Some future research topics regarding DCADC methods are also pointed out.

The characteristics of surface maneuver targets are analyzed and a 3-D relative motion model for missiles and targets is established. A variable structure guidance law is designed considering the characteristics of targets. In the guidance law, the distance between missiles and targets as well as the missile-target relative velocity are all substituted by estimation values. The estimation errors, the target＇s velocity, and the maneuver acceleration are all treated as bounded disturbance. The guidance law proposed can be implemented conveniently in engineering with little target information. The performance of the guidance system is analyzed theoretically and the numerical simulation result shows the effectiveness of the guidance law.
