Eye contact and sociability data suggests that Australian dingoes were never domesticated

Dogs were the first animal to become domesticated by humans,and they represent a classic model system for unraveling the processes of *** compare Australian dingo eye contact and socialization with Basenji and German Shepherd dog(GSD)*** dingoes arrived in Australia 5,000–8,000 BP,and there is debate whether they were domesticated before their *** Basenji represents a primitive breed that diverged from the remaining breeds early in the domestication process,while GSDs are a breed dog selected from existing domestic dogs in the late *** conducted a 4-phase study with unfamiliar and familiar investigators either sitting passively or actively calling each *** found 75%of dingoes made eye contact in each *** contrast,86%of Basenjis and 96%of GSDs made eye *** also exhibited shorter eye-gaze duration than breed dogs and did not respond to their name being called ***,quantified as a canid coming within 1m of the experimenter,was lowest for dingoes and highest for *** sociability duration,dingoes spent less time within 1m of the experimenter than either breed *** compared with previous studies,these data show that the dingo is behaviorally intermediate between wild wolves and Basenji dogs and suggest that it was not domesticated before it arrived in ***,it remains possible that the accumulation of mutations since colonization has obscured historical behaviors,and dingoes now exist in a feralized retamed *** morphological and genetic data are required to resolve this conundrum.

BACKGROUND Interoception dysfunction has an important impact on the onset and development of major depressive disorder(MDD).Social support serves as a protective factor against MDD,and sociability also plays a significant role in this *** interconnected constructs-social support and sociability-play pivotal roles in ***,no research on the mechanisms underlying the associations be-tween social support and sociability,particularly the potential role of interocep-tion,have been ***,social support,and sociability,respectively.A mediation analysis model for the eight dimensions of intero-ception(noticing,not distracting,not worrying,attention regulation,emotional awareness,self-regulation,body listening,and trust),social support,and sociability were established to evaluate the mediating *** A partial correlation analysis of eight dimensions of the MAIA-2,SSRS,and TSBI scores,with demographic data as control variables,revealed pairwise correlations between the SSRS score and both the MAIA-2 score and TSBI *** the major depression(MD)group,the SSRS score had a positive direct effect on the TSBI score,while the scores for body listening,emotional awareness,self-regulation,and trust in the MAIA-2C had indirect effects on the TSBI *** the HC group,the SSRS score had a positive direct effect on the TSBI score,and the scores for attention regulation,emotional awareness,self-regulation,and trust in the MAIA-2C had indirect effects on the TSBI *** proportion of mediators in the MD group was lower than that in the HC *** Interoceptive awareness is a mediating factor in the association between social support and sociability in both HCs and depressed *** in interoceptive awareness might not only help improve emotional regulation in depressed patients but also enhance their social skills and support networks.

Inclusive Aspects of Urban Design: sociability,Walkability and Overall Ambiance

Urban design is a multifaceted process that interfaces various aspects, extending from community physical activity and health improvement to social and environmental fields. An efficient urban design requires understanding of ideas, paradigms, and research from many dimensions of knowledge, i.e. anthropology, sociology, engineering, architecture, and urban planning. The debate in this paper is based on the fact that the sociability of a society is dependent on its urban design prototype. A systemic urban design increases the opportunity for walkability, sequentially enhancing the probability of real-time social interaction. Such an urban ambiance plays a significant role in human physical and mental well-being and their behaviors. The aspects of urban space, such as sociability, walkability and overall ambiance, are appraised according to the published literature. This paper aims at collecting the already proven specifics in one piece of writing to open up avenues for further research and establish the inclusive aspects of urban *** literature from the final decade of the 20th century to contemporary works has been considered for this instance. The research concludes that interdisciplinary engagement and participation of the public in decision-making for urban design are necessary. It recommends further exploration of the relationship of sociability, walkability and urban ambiance, and their correlation with human well-being.

Prenatal programming during pregnancy sets physiological outcomes in the offspring by integrating external or internal ***,pregnancy is an important stage of physiological adaptations to the environment where the fetus becomes exposed and adapted to the maternal *** exposure to high-energy dense diets can affect motivated behavior in the offs p ring leading to addiction and impaired sociability.A high-energy dense exposure also increases the pro-inflammatory cytokines profile in plasma and brain and favors microglia activation in the *** still under investigation,prenatal exposure to high-energy dense diets promotes structural abnormalities in selective brain regions regulating motivation and social behavior in the *** current review addresses the role of energy-dense foods programming central and peripheral inflammatory profiles during embryonic development and its effect on motivated behavior in the *** provide preclinical and clinical evidence that supports the contribution of prenatal programming in shaping immune profiles that favor structural and brain circuit disruption leading to aberrant motivated behaviors after *** hope this minireview encourages future research on novel insights into the mechanisms underlying maternal programming of motivated behavior by central immune networks.

To produce emotion, the discourse of social networks tries to confront the reader with social reality. The mediation activity at the heart of any communication activity is hidden. This process is also based on the use of figures to express the unspeakable by the shock of images, which allows the reader to experience emotion but also to push him to act. It is the link between the emotion of an individual targeted by social networks and collective mobilization, which we wish to consider as a means of relaunching the debate and drawing attention to social issues, thus allowing us to rethink sociability with politics.

Into the life and death: RecA a WISE factor working to integrate survival and evolution in <i>Escherichia coli</i>

Escherichia coli RecA has been considered traditionally a cellular protein with multiple vital functions working to ensure the maintenance of integrity of genome in each individual bacterial cell as well as promoting swarming migration in collectivity. On the contrary, recently it has been described that RecA promotes cellular apoptotic-like death (ALD), a pathway of programmed cellular death (PCD). In fact, RecA has been dubbed as the major apoptotic executor in E. coli. From these studies, RecA emerges as a prototypical Gin/Gan protein that despite of their intrinsic vital and lethal anfi-funcionality becomes in a WISE factor: a Worker to Integrate Survival and Evolution in E. coli evolving populations living in community. Here, I provide a review of recent experimental and conceptual advances trying to understand these RecA’s antagonistic roles in appearance contradictory under a unified biological vision.

Integrated Welfare Systems and Disclosure： Approaching Emerging Issues

The aim of this paper is to investigate the integrated welfare and disclosure by proposing emerging issues in the contemporary scenario. Thus, company welfare is represented as internal sociability; environmental protection or innovation can be interpreted as external sociability, representing the uses of resources that a company does not incur costs, but demonstrates its health and social responsibility. Following a theoretical approach, the paper proposes as result a conceptual study introducing an updated literature analysis on the topic proposed of the integrated welfare systems and disclosure trying to point out emerging issues through a case study. Moreover, the research methodology is based on a qualitative approach and secondary sources in order to propose not only to scientific community a literature analysis. In this way, the implications of the research can be directed to academic communities and policy makers. The research question is the following： Which are emerging issues on the integrated welfare and its disclosure？

Hypothyroidism is not uncommon in dogs,but it is actually very often diagnosed in elderly *** and how does the disease start?What are the first recognizable signs?The first symptoms are usually changes in the ***,these changes are quite subtle,but as the illness progresses,they can get very *** do often hear from the worried owners,that their report of a behavioral change to their vet is often ignored,not taken seriously or simply interpreted as unsteady or insufficient dog training/*** not taking seriously of the first signs is very concerning and a big problem in many *** is delaying the finding of the right diagnosis and treatment,which leads to suffering of the animal and the *** some cases,it leads to giving the dog up as an unbearable danger to the *** the dog,who is only ill and could be back to normal with the right medical treatment,finally ends up in a dog shelter or a new *** common understanding is,that hypothyreoidism is an illness solely occurring in the elderly *** contrast to this,the authors found out,that thyroidal problems occur already at relatively young *** is a very important finding,considering that many clinically practising veterinarians expect hypothyreoidism only in the aged or elderly dog and will not run any diagnostics in relatively young or middle-aged *** authors also found significant differences in the personality traits of emotional stability and ***,we would like to expand the existing studies,so that this widely underestimated topic finally comes to the fore and hopefully,in the future the right diagnostcal steps can be taken at an early stage of the disease.

On The Scalability of PSRS algorithm

In this paper, using the metric of iso--efficiency function [if. we analyze the scalability of PSRS (Parallel. Sorting by Regular Sample) algorithm I2] on two popular architectures (Mesh and Hypercube) The Isoefficiency function of PSRS on 2-dimensional mesh With p processors reaches the lower bound for that of sorting algorithms on this architecture. In nils sense, we say the scalabilify of PSRS is optimal on 2-dimensional mesh. The lso-efficiency function of PSRS on hypercube is equal to that of PSRS on 2-dimensional mesh. After changing the data exchanging scheme of PSRS, -cafe get a ne'v iso-efficiency function . which is better than that of PSRS on 2-dimensional mesh So we say that hypercube is more suitable for PSRS than 2--dimensional mesh.

本文在组织文化的价值层面、事实层面及其两层面差异的视角上，研究组织文化友好性和一致性对组织变革的认知反应和行为反应的影响，并以我国302个中高级管理者代表的企业为样本进行实证研究。结果表明：相对于价值层面的组织文化友好性，事实层面的组织文化友好性对变革认知反应和行为都具有推动作用；两层面文化友好性的差异仅推动变革认知反应；相对于价值层面的组织文化一致性，事实层面的组织文化一致性仅对变革行为反应具有阻碍作用；两层面文化一致性的差异阻碍变革认知反应和行为反应。
