Study on the Measurement of Industrial Structure “Sophistication,rationalization and Ecologicalization” Based on the Dynamic Analysis of Grey Relations——A Case Study of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is one of the regions with the most dynamic economies,highest degrees of openness,strongest innovation capacities and largest populations,as well as an important engine driving China’s economic development.Currently,the development of the BeijingTianjin-Hebei region faces many difficulties,including an inefficient distribution of regional functions,imbalance in industrial structure,low sophistication,and serious overburdening of resources and the environment.Promoting the overall coordinated development of the region has become an urgent challenge.In this paper,according to the conventions of industrial structure optimization,the three core indicators of regional industrial structure rationalization,sophistication and ecologicalization are constructed.With the help of the grey dynamic correlation model,the three indicators are coupled with the economic growth rate,and the industrial structure optimization index of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is comprehensively measured.The study shows that rationalization of the industrial structure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is increasing but that this trend is not obvious;sophistication of the industrial structure is relatively high and has also been operating at a high level;however,the overall ecological level of the industrial structure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is not high and presents the characteristics of high in the middle and low at both ends.In terms of the relationship between industrial structure and economic growth in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,ecologicalization of the industrial structure has the greatest influence on economic growth,followed by sophistication of the industrial structure,and rationalization of the industrial structure has the weakest influence.

Recent Advances in Automated Theorem Proving on Inequalities

Automated theorem proving on inequalities is always considered asa difficult topic in the area of automated reasoning. The relevallt algorithms dependfundamentally on real algebra and real geometry, and the computational complexityincreases very quickly with the dimension, that is, the number of parameters. Somewell-known algorithms are complete theoretically but inefficient in practice, whichcannot verify non-trivial propositions in batches. A dimension- decreasing algorit hmpresellted here can treat radicals efficiently and make the dimensions the lowest.Based upon this algorithm, a generic program called 'BOTTEMA' was implementedon a personal computer. More than 1000 algebraic and geometric inequalities includ-ing hundreds of open problems have been verified in this way. This makes it possibleto check a finite many inequalities instead of solving a globaloptimization problem.

On the basis of analyzing the mechanism of the impact of financial development on industrial structure upgrading,this paper comprehensively considers the state of the industrial structure among provinces from three dimensions:rationalization,optimization,and equalization.This research finds that financial development promotes the rationalization and optimization of industrial structure but has no significant effect on the equalization of industrial structure.

Building information modeling and its impact on users in the lifeworld: a mediation perspective

Building information modeling (BIM) is expected to have a large impact on users in the lifeworlds in a construction supply chain. The impact ofBIM on users in their lifeworlds is explored using the concepts of Heidegger, Habermas, and Ihde from the perspective of technical mediation. This impact is explored by a case study. BIM mediates and shapes the relationship between users and their lifeworlds and can be characterized as either a hermeneutic or an alterity relationship. BIM conflicts with existing work practices in a ready-to-hand work environment. For users that cannot work with BIM, the work environment remains present-at-hand. The many heterogeneous BIM applications and systems used by the various parties involved result in interoperability problems that are a major barrier to enframing the supply chain by BIM. Although invitation and inhibition of certain actions by BIM may stimulate the rationalization of the lifeworlds, the lack of intrinsic motivation and mutual background knowledge inhibits an alignment of BIM and working practices.

研究目的：利用276个地级市2007-2020年的面板数据，分析不同经济发展阶段内，地方政府“两手”供地策略对产业结构合理化、高级化的差别化影响，为调整土地供给策略，推动产业结构优化提供相应的政策启示。研究方法：面板门槛模型。研究结果：(1)对于产业结构合理化，以25438.02元(2007年价)的人均 GDP为门槛，将城市经济发展水平划分为低、高两个阶段，两阶段内地方政府“两手”供地策略对产业结构合理化分别表现为积极与消极影响，消极影响的大小为积极影响的1.78倍。(2)对于产业结构高级化，以23694.54元(2007年价)的人均GDP为门槛，将城市经济发展水平划分为低、高两个阶段，两阶段内地方政府“两手”供地策略对产业结构高级化分别表现为积极与消极影响，两者大小基本一致。(3)全国层面上，地方政府“两手”供地策略对产业结构合理化与高级化差别化影响的转变出现在2010-2011年间；城市层面上，多数城市积极影响已经转变为消极影响。研究结论：地方政府“两手”供地策略对产业结构合理化、高级化的差别化影响具有同步、同方向的“双同”特征，有序地推进“两手”供地策略的市场化转型，可以最大程度获取积极影响并避免其消极影响。

Rationalizing the Use of Water in Industry—Part 1: Summary of the Instruments Developed by the Clean Technology Network in the State of Bahia and Main Results Obtained

Based on cleaner production concepts, a method for water use minimization has been developed by the Clean Technology Network of Bahia (TECLIM) at one of the largest industrial complexes in Latin America located in the State of Bahia, Brazil. This method is concerned with an area of secondary interest to the productive sector: the use of water. Based on the best cleaner production principles (CP), nine instruments have been developed during cooperative projects with chemical, petrochemical and copper metallurgical industries. These instruments are described in Part 2 of this paper [1]. The main benefits derived from partnership schemes include: a reduction in water consumption and effluent generation;the development of a techno-operational culture to increase eco-efficiency;and the introduction of conceptual projects to ensure the continuity of the activities in the company after the projects have been completed. The specific consumption of water was reduced by 20% as a consequence of the application of this method in Company A;a specific reduction in the generation of effluents of more than 40% was observed in Company B;a 42% fall in fresh water consumption in Company C;and a 20% decrease in the cost of effluent treatment in Company D. Among the difficulties encountered were the limited time availability of the operators and engineers for the project, the lack of measurement and calibration of available flow meters and the lack of detailed technical data.

Rationalizing the Use of Water in Industry—Part 2: Instruments Developed by the Clean Technology Network in the State of Bahia

The instruments developed by the Clean Technology Network of Bahia (TECLIM) at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) (cited in Part 1 of this paper) are presented. Factors regarding water management in industry were examined, on the basis of experience acquired over the period of a decade in cooperative research projects with large industrial process plants located mostly in the Camacari Petrochemical Complex, Bahia State, Brazil. The main results consist of training about 1700 industry professionals in CP, the identification of about 500 ideas for the rationalization of water use, the presentation and publication of 90 articles in journals, conferences and other academic events, identification of ideas with potential water savings estimated at around 1400 t·h–1 and the reduction of at least 500 t·h–1 in effluents. Other sectors that make use of water, for example public buildings, commercial buildings, homes, shopping centers and airports can adapt and use the TECLIM method as will be exemplified.
