Objective:To explore the relationship between social isolation,psychological resilience,and psychological well-being in community-dwelling older ***:A questionnaire survey was conducted with 265 community-dwelling older adults using the Social Isolation Scale for the Elderly(C-SIS),the 10-item Brief psychological resilience Scale,and the Comprehensive Happiness Questionnaire(MHQ).The results were statistically analyzed using SPSS ***:The highest score on the Social Isolation Scale for Community Elderly was 23,with a mean entry score of 2.36±0.62.A score of 14 was the cut-off point,with scores of≤14 classified as social *** were 136 cases with scores below 14,resulting in a social isolation incidence rate of 51.3%.The median(P50)psychological resilience score was 27,indicating a higher level of *** total score on the psychological Well-being Scale was 161,suggesting a moderate to slightly higher level of *** isolation had a direct negative effect on psychological well-being,while psychological resilience had a positive ***:Older adults should be supported in reducing the incidence of social isolation and increasing psychological resilience to enhance psychological well-being and promote successful aging.

A Study on Factors Influencing the Qiang’s Post-Disaster psychological resilience---Based on NVivo Analysis

psychological resilience is given a lot of attention in studies relating to handling pres-sure and individual development. psychological re-silience refers to one being able to maintain a rela-tively stable and healthy psychological well-being after experiencing stressful events, such as hurt or loss. This resilience has a multi-level complicated structure,and results from a dynamic interaction of the individual,social,cultural and other social fac-tors. Although there is yet no a common definition of psychological resilience in academic circles, it seems that the concept of psychological resilience reflects much more the dynamic process of the individuals’ ability to adjust after experiencing dif-ficulties/adversity. The Wenchuan Earthquake that occurred on May 12 not only brought many injuries, death and loss to the Qiang people,but it also created psycho-logical trauma of different degrees for the survi-vors. This research discovered that differences in ethnic cultures endow individuals differences in cognition, responses and coping mechanisms when facing the same disaster. How did the Qiang survi-vors from the earthquake manage their psychologi-cal trauma after the disaster? What kinds of factors were helpful for the individual’s psychological resil-ience? This became our focus. This article tries to use a qualitative research methodology and semi-structured interviews to understand the cognition, responses and coping mechanisms of Qiang earth-quake survivors;it explores the factors influencing the Qiang’s psychological resilience; and provides the basis for the ethnic minorities’ post -disaster psychological resilience. We used the methodology of“purposeful sam-pling” to select a research target in Mao county and Li county of Aba Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan province. psychological resilience refers to the ability that individuals can positively adapt and respond to stress and adversity and is important for mental health and happiness. Previous studies have found that resilience is associated with the brain activity of regions within the cognitive-emotional system. However, there was little study examined the functional connectivity among these regions underlying psychological resilience. The present study used resting-state seed-based functional connectivity to explore the neural basis of psychological resilience and its association with positive affect in a big healthy sample. Results showed that resilience is associated with functional connectivity between regions involved in emotional flexibility, coping ability, and inhibitory control. Specifically, resilience is positively correlated with the strength of the left insula and right parahippocampus connectivity, which is involved in the self-evaluation and self-awareness. resilience is also positively correlated with the strength of the left orbitofrontal gyrus(OFC) and left inferior frontal gyrus(IFG) connectivity, which is associated with the flexible use of emotional resources and flexible control in processing affective information. These results suggest that high-resilient individuals may exhibit flexible emotional responses and flexible inhibitory control. Additionally, resilience is negatively correlated with the strength of left OFC and right precuneus connectivity, which indicates that whether it is possible to bounce back from aversive events is important for resilience. Crucially, the strength of left OFC-IFG connectivity mediated the effect of positive affect on resilience, supporting the opinion that positive affect facilitates resilience by broadening one’s attention and promoting flexible thinking and coping abilities. Investigation on psychological Health and resilience of Clinical Nursing Students in “Post-Pandemic Era”

The study aims to learn about the psychological health and counseling situation of nursing students in the post-pandemic era through investigation on the psychological health, resilience and counseling demand of nursing students by randomly selecting clinical nursing students interned in a Grade III Level A hospital in Guangzhou from June 2020 to January 2021 as the objects of study. The internship can be divided into three stages: initial (1st - 3rd month), middle (4th - 7th month) and final (8th - 12th month). The investigator educated the nursing students about psychological health in the initial stage to improve their adaptability to clinical practice. Then they were given questionnaires including Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90), Connor-Davidson resilience Scale (CD-RISC) and general questionnaires. And this study further completed difference analysis on psychological health and resilience in gender, educational background, internship stages and non-only/only children. It turned out that all factors scored above the national norm except anxiety in nine symptom clusters and three dimensions of CD-RISC. A conceptual model of posttraumatic growth of nursing students with a disabled parent

Serial Multiple Mediation of the Relationshipbetween Positive Coping Style and PostTraumatic Growth among Chinese CollegeStudents in the Aftermath of COVID-19

Given the ongoing character of COVID-19, higher-education students encountered multifaceted pressures brought about by thepandemic and had to overcome many difficulties during this period. Accordingly, it is imperative to identify the factors that mayhave protective effects on the social functioning and mental status of college students in the aftermath of COVID-19. This crosssectional study sought to ascertain the internal mechanism of positive coping (PC) styles affecting post-traumatic growth (PTG)and considered the mediating roles of cognitive reappraisal (CR), psychological resilience (PR), and deliberate rumination (DR),which are essential for understanding how and to what extent these factors shaped PTG in the context of the present pandemic. 463Chinese college students recruited via a convenience sampling method completed a set of online self-report measures of PC, PTG,CR, PR and DR. The findings revealed that the abovementioned five variables were positively correlated with each other, and theindependent variable directly predicted the dependent variable. More importantly, two out of three mediators in parallel mediatedthe relationship between PC and PTG, illustrating that more PC adoption was associated with increased PTG through high levels ofPR and DR, respectively. The two significant serial mediating effects also indicated that PC could contribute to CR, which furtherfacilitates either PR or DR and subsequently promotes the development of PTG. Colleges should adopt routine protectivebehaviors in accordance with such evidence to strengthen students’ mental health education and establish scientific methods toboost their psychological well-being. Overall, our results may shed new light on the process of positive adaption and providetheoretical support for targeted crisis intervention during the late phase of the pandemic.
