Thinking of peace when rich:The effect of industry growth on corporate risk-taking

We investigate the unique role and mechanisms of industry growth in firms’risk-taking *** find that industry growth is negatively associated with corporate risk-taking,consistent with the prospect theory that a high-growth industry gives firms a superior external environment,which may cause them to refrain from corporate risk-taking as in the saying“thinking of peace when rich.”This correlation is stronger for product market leaders,industries encouraged by industry policies and industries that receive more government *** reduce risk-taking through various corporate policies,including long-term,high-value investments,operational efficiency and cash holdings in response to high industry ***,our results are consistent with industry growth negatively affecting corporate risk-taking.

Demand Response(DR)provides both operational and financial benefits to a variety of stakeholders in the power *** example,in the deregulated market operated by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas(ERCOT),load serving entities(LSEs)usually purchase electricity from the wholesale market(either in day-ahead or real-time market)and sign fixed retail price contracts with their ***,incentivizing end-consumers’load shift from peak to off-peak hours could benefit the LSE in terms of reducing its purchase of electricity under high prices from the real-time *** the first-of-its-kind implementation of Coupon Incentive-based Demand Response(CIDR),the EnergyCoupon project provides end-consumers with dynamic time-of-use DR event announcements,individualized load reduction targets with EnergyCoupons as the incentive for meeting these targets,as well as periodic lotteries using these coupons as lottery tickets for winning dollar-value gifts.A number of methodologies are developed for this special type of DR program including price/baseline prediction,individualized target setting and a lottery *** paper summarizes the methodologies,design,critical findings,as well as the potential generalization of such an *** of the EnergyCoupon with a conventional Time-of-Use(TOU)price-based DR program is also *** results in the year 2017 show that by combining dynamic coupon offers with periodic lotteries,the effective cost for demand response providers in EnergyCoupon can be substantially reduced,while achieving a similar level of demand reduction as conventional DR programs.

展望理论有关价值函数具有参考点依赖、敏感性递减（非线性）和损失厌恶（非对称）等性质的预测，在顾客满意领域日益得到关注。尽管在理解满意的时候，人们将“期望不一致”作为主导范式，但是大多数实证研究不恰当地将负向（正向）绩效等同于负向（正向）不一致，从而未能严格检验参考点依赖的作用。此外，展望理论中的敏感性递减和损失厌恶两方面性质很少同时得到验证。为弥补上述不足，作者根据来自四个产品类别，即手机（n＝2518）、笔记本电脑（n＝1932）、台式电脑（n＝1954）和电视机（n＝2204）的调查数据对上述预测进行了实证检验。通过直接将“期望不一致”操作为绩效期望与感知绩效之间的差值，并且以三次多项式函数设定“期望不一致”与满意之间的关系，展望理论的预测得到了一致的实证支持。

FUZZY ORDER EQUIVALENT CLASS WITH UNCERTAINTY

It is a new research topic to create a rational judgment matrix using the cognition theory because of the construction of judgment matrix in AHP involving the decision-maker's cognitive activities. Owing to the presence of uncertain information in the decision procedure, the improper use of the uncertain information will doubtless cause weight changes. In this paper, we add a feedforward process prior to constructing the judgment matrix so that the decision maker can use both the certain and uncertain information to get the initial uncertain rough judgment matrix, and then convert it into a fuzzy matrix. Consequently, it will be better for decision maker to obtain the rough set of order equivalent classes through the decision graph. According to the qualitative analysis, the decision maker can easily construct the final judgment matrix instructed by the rough set created earlier.

Cloud manufacturing,as an advanced form of manufacturing,meets the requirement of highly effective *** the platform is desirable for the matching of manufacturing tasks and manufacturing services,it is crucial to keep the stability of ***,compared to the manufacturing of product,the requirement of design is more uncertainly,and ordinal preference is always adopted the describe the uncertain *** preferences of design is always determined by multiple decision makers,while,the multiple makers of decision is always different,the consideration of conflict decision should be *** our study,we take the diverse decision into account in the form of multi-choices ordinal ***,literature shows that current researches are more biased towards customer satisfaction,but the satisfaction of manufacturing task is ignored,leading to fewer customers on the platform side and affect the stability of the *** order to keep the stability of platform,satisfaction of two-sided customers is considered,and prospect theory is applied to measure it by perceived utility *** references from social and personal perspectives are adopted to calculate the perceived utility value.A model of maximizing the perceived utility value is constructed to find the matching result,and genetic algorithm is proposed to deal with the ***,the model is verified by a case.

Enterprise competitive intelligence evaluation has the characteristics of uncertainty and group *** is significant to construct the evaluation model based on the mixed uncertain attribute group *** this paper,we reviewed the algorithms,order relations and distance measures of the main uncertain *** on mixed uncertain attribute group decision-making,prospect theory and VIKOR theory,we constructed the evaluation *** put forward the processes including standardization,group integration,value measurement and *** example analysis shows that the evaluation model can integrate a variety of uncertain indicators,comprehensively reflect the evaluation opinions of each expert,and reflect the decision-maker’s risk psychology and *** proposed model can provide more scientific and consistent conclusions for the evaluation and selection of competitive intelligence of enterprises.

Weighted vertex cover（WVC） is a classical combinatorial optimization problem, which has rich practice ***, the existing WVC studies based on game theory has introduced the traditional expected utility theory（EUT）, where each vertex is treated as a rational player. However, the uncertainty caused by the weight factor is neglected. So how does this uncertainty affect players’ behaviour? In this paper, the complete theoretical analysis is shown. Specifically, we model the WVC problem as an non-cooperative game on weighted networks and respectively establish EUT-based and prospect theory-based utility functions. Then, we prove the existence of mixed NE on this weighted game. Further, by designing a state function,we find that the vertices’ state under mixed NE satisfies weighted vertex cover state of the network. Finally, a fictitious play algorithm is proposed to get a NE of the game. Our findings will pave the way for the future numerical simulation, which can demonstrate the impact of the prospect theory on weighted vertex cover.

近年来，贫富差距的不断加大已引起民众较为强烈的收入不公平感，而导致收入不公平感产生的一个主要原因是人们对自己收入所得不如他人的相对比较。本项目基于预期理论价值函数的参照依赖和损失规避双视角，对当前民众收入不公平感的形成机制与管理对策进行系列实证研究；采用心理测量、实验室实验和干预研究相结合的方法，并借助神经电生理的ERP技术和心理生理学的多导生理记录仪(SCR)，以检验民众收入不公平感的自我-他人参照、单参照点-多参照点比较的整合性参照依赖框架；探索损失规避对多得不均等和少得不均等的非对称不公平感的根源性作用和神经生理机制；选取社区居民，操纵参照对象、参照点和得失框架，进行多轮次和多变量的干预研究，以探索减少民众收入不公平感的应对策略，并据此提出切实有效的管理对策。

基于前景理论和公司行为理论，本研究将商业风险、所有权集中度及CEO解职后的继任来源整合于同一框架。基于中国上市公司数据所进行的大样本实证分析表明，商业风险、CEO与董事长兼任、所有权集中度与CEO解职率正相关，所有权集中度负向调节商业风险对CEO解职关系。但针对CEO解职后不同继任来源的分析显示，这种调节作用尽管在两类CEO解职中仍然得到保持，但其它所考察变量在外部继任型解职中则有着明显不同。这些发现，进一步加深了对高所有权集中度情境下，CEO解职这一极为重要的战略决策过程的理解。
