Objective: As the ageing process continues to accelerate, more and more older people are seeking a high quality and standard of living. Therefore, how to meet the diverse needs of the elderly in a scientific and effective way has become a major concern for the development of society. After combing through the relevant information, it is found that scholars have conducted studies on the behaviour, organization and environment of physical exercise among the elderly using different approaches in recent years, but there is still a lack of research on the mechanisms affecting physical exercise and life satisfaction among the elderly. Based on the active activity theory and the activity theory, this paper further explores the mechanism of the effect of physical exercise on life satisfaction of older people and analyses the heterogeneous effect of physical exercise on life satisfaction of older people with different demographic characteristics to actively encourage older people to participate in social and physical activities in order to provide theoretical basis for continuous improvement of life satisfaction. Methods: Questionnaire data from 2554 older people aged 60 and over were analysed and tested for the presence of mediating effects by means of descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, OLS regression and other methods based on the 2014 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS) data. The Positive Effects of physical exercise on Mental Health Among Chinese Students Under Great Competitive Pressure

Recent neuroimaging studies have documented differences in neural responses to food cues in obese versus lean samples but little is known about weight status differences in responsiveness to other central features of obesogenic environments,particularly cues reflecting physical *** address this gap,patterns of activation related to visual depictions of sedentary activities and vigorous physical exercise were assessed in overweight and average weight samples via functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI).Thirteen overweight(O-W) and 13 average weight(A-W) young Chinese women were required to imagine engaging in each depicted sedentary activity and exercise activity presented during a functional magnetic resonance image(fMRI) *** indicated body mass index had a significant negative association with activation of the right putamen and a positive correlation with activation in the right medial frontal gyrus,specifically Brodmann Area 10 in the exercise-sedentary image contrast condition. For the sedentary-control contrast,significantly less activation in an insula area related to negative affect and pain processing was observed for the O-W *** the exercise-control contrast, O-W women also displayed comparatively weaker activation in a cingulate gyrus area implicated in kinesthetic memory of body movements and the re-experiencing real ***,results provided some support for contentions that exposure to depictions of physical exercise corresponds to comparatively reduced activation of reward centers and heightened activation in regions associated with negative affect among overweight women compared to leaner peers.

Under an environment full of competitive stress,students tend to form negative emotions,and the time for them to engage in physical exercise is greatly limited due to overwhelming academic ***,in this paper,we focus on acknowledging the purpose of physical exercise,and how physical exercise affects the mental health of students under stressful circumstances but not in the context of *** was distributed to participants with an average age of 20,to investigate their preference,frequency,and reason for exercising,and their attitude towards *** results showed that participants think that exercise can strengthen the body,relieve stress,improve fitness and interpersonal relationship regardless of their purpose such as interests,emotional necessity and even out of non-subjective *** conclusion,physical exercise helped to improve students’mental health especially under great pressure and ultimately,it will enhance their academics and bring about the unity of mind and body.

In this editorial,we commented on a recently released manuscript by Zeng et al in the World Journal of *** focused specifically on lifestyle changes in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).NAFLD is a hepatic manifestation of the metabolic syndrome,which ultimately leads to advanced hepatic fibrosis,cirrhosis,and hepatocellular carcinoma and affects more than 25%of the population *** therapeutic strategies against NAFLD such as pharmacologic therapies focus on liver protection,anti-inflammation,and regulating disease-related metabolic disorder *** several drugs are in late-stage development,potent drugs against the diseases are ***,existing surgical approaches such as bariatric surgery are not routinely used to treat *** in patients’unhealthy lifestyles,such as weight loss through dietary changes and exercises to ameliorate patientassociated metabolic disorders and metabolic syndrome,is the first-line treatment for patients with *** sufficient intrinsic motivation and adherence,the management of unhealthy lifestyles can reduce the severity of the disease,improve the quality of life,and increase the survival expectancy of patients with NAFLD.

A growing body of studies and systematic reviews show evidence of the beneficial effects of physical exercise on core symptoms of ADHD. Furthermore, studies indicate that physical exercise as an adjuvant can enhance the effects of medication in the treatment of ADHD. Aerobic and coordinative exercises improve executive functioning through their effect on neurocognitive domains that are implicated in ADHD. It is postulated that through their specific modus operandi, aerobic exercise, by raising cortical arousal levels, improves impaired alerting functions whereas coordinative exercises improve the regulation of inhibitory control through the involvement of a higher variety of frontal-dependent cognitive processes. The increasing use of routine neurocognitive testing with continuous performance tests (CPT), such as the QbTest, at clinical assessments for ADHD allows for an innovative approach to identify the assessment impairments in alerting function and inhibition control that are related to ADHD and accordingly choose aerobic or coordinative physical exercise in a more targeted fashion.
