In this paper, we present a compact finite difference method for a class of fourth-order nonlinear neutral delay sub-diffusion equations in two-dimensional space. The fourth-order problem is first transformed into a second-order system by a reduced-order method. Next by using compact operator to approximate the second order space derivatives and L2-1σ formula to approximate the time fractional derivative, the difference scheme which is fourth order in space and second order in time is obtained. Then, the existence and uniqueness of solution, the convergence rate of and the stability of the scheme are proved. Finally, numerical results are given to verify the accuracy and validity of the scheme.

This study analyzes the problem of robust stability of fractional-order delay systems of neutral type under actuator saturation.A Lyapunov–Krasovskii(LK)function is constructed and conditions of the asymptotic robust stability of such systems are given,which are formulated by linear matrix inequalities(LMIs),using the Lyapunov direct *** algorithm is introduced to compute the gain of the state feedback controller for extending the domain of *** theoretical results are validated using some numerical examples.

＜正＞The aim of this study is to provide a practical paradigm to ascertain the complete characterization of stability intervals for neutral time-delay systems with multiple commensurate ***,the matrix pencil test is used to determine the complete set of imaginary characteristic *** at these frequencies points may the stability switching *** compute the principle delay valueτfor each zero-crossing frequencyωwithin[0,2π]and their infinite extension with the period 2π/ω.Sort all critical delays by size,then the exact intervals can be obtained exhaustively. Lastly,a boundary criterion is used to check the stability for any given delay point value in an *** to the continuity of stability exponent,the interval has identical stability with any delay point ***,the stability property of all intervals is *** examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.

Exponential estimates and sufficient conditions for the exponential synchronization of complex dynamical networks with bounded time-varying delays are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. A generalized complex networks model involving both neutral delays and retarded ones is presented. The exponential synchronization problem of the complex networks is converted equivalently into the exponential stability problem of a group of uncorrelated delay functional differential equations with mixed timevarying delays. By utilizing the free weighting matrix technique, a less conservative delay-dependent synchronization criterion is derived. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
