To the Editor:Seborrheic keratosis(SK)is one of the most common benign skin tumors in *** to the wide variation in its clinical features,however,and particularly when both its manifestations and dermoscopic findings of its lesion are atypical,it may be challenging to differentiate SK lesions from other benign or malignant skin tumors.[1,2]We here report a case of SK of an adenoid type that initially imitated pigmented basal cell carcinoma(BCC)upon dermoscopy.

To the Editor:Focal acantholytic dyskeratosis(FAD)is used to describe a group of diseases with diverse clinical manifestations but characteristic histological *** 1984,the first case of“papular acantholytic dyskeratosis(PAD)of the vulvocrural area”was reported in a 23-year-old female with pathological manifestations of FAD and the researchers believed that it might be a new independent disease.[1]Recently,the relationship between PAD and Hailey-Hailey disease(HHD)as well as Darier disease(DD)is receiving increasing attention from *** performed gene mutation screening in two patients with sporadic PAD and explored the nature of PAD.

To the Editor:Erythrokeratodermia variabilis(EKV,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man[OMIM]#133200)is a rare genodermatosis characterized by migratory erythema and fixed *** lesions have a predilection for the distal extremities,buttocks,and trunk.[1]However,abnormal hair growth on EKV lesions has rarely been reported.A 26-year-old Chinese man presented with widespread reddish-brown patches on his skin that had been present since the age of 5 *** lesions regressed spontaneously and then appeared elsewhere,gradually progressing to hyperkeratotic plaques with increasing numbers of hairs.
