Objective: Myositis-specific autoantibodies(MSAs) and myositis-associated autoantibodies(MAAs) are useful biomarkers that assist in the diagnosis of dermatomyositis/polymyositis(DM/PM). The objective of our study was to determine the prevalence and diagnostic values of MSAs and MAAs in DM/PM, and DM/PM with interstitial lung disease(ILD).Methods: A commercial immunoblot assay with 16 autoantigens was used to detect MSAs and MAAs in serum samples from 130 DM/PM patients, 60 disease controls, and 25 healthy ***: The prevalence of anti-MDA5 and anti-TIF1γ was significantly higher in DM/PM than in other CTDs. Moreover, anti-MDA5 and anti-Ro-52 was significantly higher in DM/PM with ILD than in DM/PM without ILD, while that of anti-TIF1γ and anti-NXP2 was significantly lower in DM/PM with ILD than in DM/PM without ILD. For distinguishing DM/PM from other CTDs, the sensitivity, specificity, and positive predictive value(PPV) for anti-MDA5 were 28.46, 98.33, and 97.37%, respectively, and the positive likelihood ratio(LR+) was 17.08—and 46.15, 58.33, and 70.59%, respectively, for anti-Ro-52 with an LR+ of 1.11. For distinguishing DM/PM with ILD from DM/PM without ILD, the sensitivity, specificity, and PPV for anti-MDA5 were 45.57, 100.00, and 100.00%, respectively, and 60.76, 73.91, and 80.00%, respectively, for anti-Ro-52. Ten of the MSA-positive DM/PM patients were positive for the two ***: MSAs and MAAs are helpful in the diagnosis of DM/PM and serve as biomarkers for differentiating DM/PM from other CTDs as well as distinguishing DM/PM with ILD from DM/PM without ILD. The MSAs in DM/PM were not mutually exclusive.

＜正＞Objective To investigate the early diagnosis of the interstitial lung disease（ILD） of connective tissue disease（CTD） by measuring pulmonary density with Multi-spiral CT（MSCT）.Methods: Measuring of pulmonary density with MSCT were performed in 222 patients with CTD and 50 normal individuals. The average attenuation values and their frequency distribution and inferior lung regions were measured with Pulmo of semiautomatic evaluation software. All patients also had HRC-T of thorax. The changes between the abnormal pulmonary density and HRCT and the ILD of CTD, and were analyzed with ***: 197 of 222 cases with CTD showed their average pulmonary density were higher, And 25 were normal. 157 cases of 222 cases with HRCT showed abnormal, And 65 cases were normal. The HRCT and pulmonary density of 50 normal control showed all normal. 42 of 50 normal control showed their average pulmonary density were normal, and 8 were abnormal. Measuring of pulmonary density was significantly higher HRCT P＜0.005 and normal control P＜***: Measuring of average lung density and HRCT contain obvious difference to the ILD of CTD, therefore in the early diagnosis of ILD in patients with CTD, average lung density the measurement was more sensitive than HRCT, and more have the clinical meaning.

This study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics of elderly-onset rheumatoid arthritis(EORA)patients with *** ret-rospectively enrolled EORA patients diagnosed with COVID-19 from December 2022 through February 2023 and followed them *** characteristics of the patients and clinical data on COVID-19 were collected,and EORA-related data at the onset of rheu-matoid arthritis and during COVID-19 episodes were evaluated.A total of 102 EORA outpatients were enrolled and stratified into the COVID-19 group(n=60)and the non–COVID-19 group(n=42).In the COVID-19 group,56(93.3%)had symptoms,8(13.3%)had viral pneumonia,and 4(6.7%)developed severe *** logistic regression analysis showed that lack of COVID-19 vac-cination(P=0.016 and P=0.030,respectively)and having interstitial lung disease(P=0.013 and P=0.001,respectively)were inde-pendent risk factors for viral pneumonia and severe *** with the general population,EORA patients did not show significantly higher susceptibility to COVID-19 or a higher risk of severe ***,EORA patients with interstitial lung disease require special consideration during COVID-19 episodes.
