Cultural symbols,a manifestation of cities’cultural resources,are not only signs that frame concepts but also forms that express *** the international communication of cities from the perspective of symbols,this paper analyzes in depth how cities create their cultural symbols in the dynamic process of international communication in an era of symbol-based digital media,and how they develop their narratives and explain meanings through the dissemination of symbols when telling their stories to international audiences,thus enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of their international communication efforts.

According to the phenomenon-taking of classified analog,directional solidification can be an excellent approach for international communication of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the context of COVID‑19 *** toward TCM by Western Medicine(WM)can be represented by various morphologies of the solid/liquid ***‑19 has created an urgent need for the worldwide spread of *** counter any doubts and objections against TCM,COVID‑19 pandemic provides a good opportunity,meanwhile a steady and firm pace forward should be *** is also necessary to resolve domestic controversies and to lower cultural *** philosophy of TCM can agree fairly well with dialectical materialism;the scientific connotation of pentacy in TCM can be explained through the symptoms of COVID‑19‑infected patients.A TCM understanding compatible with WM will accelerate its international acceptance,which could help to better elaborate the significance of humanity in *** medicine under the guidance of TCM principles is an important trend in medical development,whose framework is illustrated in a 4C+T diagram.

With the advent of new technologies,China is faced with the practical need to enhance its international communication capacity and address reforms in the modes,content,and channels of international ***,more efforts should be made to further enrich the participants in international communication by optimizing China’s four-level journalism communication system and crafting a“great external publicity pattern.”Guiding and promoting county-level convergence media centers to participate in international communication is conducive to promoting the building of a vertical international communication system and a multi-level integrated communication matrix and facilitating the resource alignment and information sharing between domestic and international *** practice,some county-level convergence media centers in China have achieved certain results in international communication.A good example is the Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone(CDHT),a pioneer in the reform of Chinese county-level convergence ***,this paper has used CDHT as an example to discuss the reality and basic conditions for Chinese county-level convergence media centers to participate in international communication and put forward general paths for county-level convergence media centers to engage in international communication.

Museums’building of international communication capacity has become a hot topic in *** unique resources of ancient Shu culture,Sanxingdui Museum is of great value in international *** paper first reviews previous studies in this area,then analyzes the efforts made by present-day museums in China and abroad to raise their international profile,and later probes into the current status of Sanxingdui Museum’s building of international communication *** this basis,this paper summarizes the countermeasures Sanxingdui Museum took and proposes suggestions regarding the building of its international communication *** Museum should work harder to improve its overseas exhibitions,protect and study its cultural relics,advance the application for World Heritage status,and promote the Sanxingdui brand via multimedia.
