Fabrication of sub-20 nm MoS_(2) horizontal nanowire on silicon substrates by inclusion of precursors into polystyrene-bpolyethylene oxide nanopatterns: Detailed structural investigation

Herein,we demonstrate the fabrication of sub-20 nm MoS_(2) horizontal nanowire arrays on silicon substrates using a self-assembled block copolymer assisted in situ inclusion approach.Microphase separated long-range ordered polystyrene-b-polyethylene oxide(PS-b-PEO)block copolymer(BCP)line-space nanopatterns were achieved through thermo-solvent annealing.The patterns produced had long-range order and domain sizes>1μm.The BCP structures were lightly etched and modified by anhydrous ethanol to facilitate insertion of molybdenum precursor within the film maintaining the parent BCP arrangements.Horizontal ordered molybdenum oxide nanowire arrays were then fabricated by ultraviolet(UV)/ozone treatment at room temperature.The oxides were converted to sulphides by thermal evaporation at different temperatures in Ar/H_(2) environment.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed the composition and phases of the molybdenum oxide and sulphide nanowires.Elemental mapping was performed to investigate the interfaces between the oxide and sulphide nanowires with the substrate surface.The formation and stability of the sulphide nanowires were studied at different temperatures.The photoluminescence and Raman properties were studied at different formation temperatures to investigate defects and estimate the number of layers.

To reveal the mechanism of ferrite nucleation induced by Y_(2)O_(2)S inclusion in steel,the work of adhesion,interfacial energy,structure stability and electronic properties of Fe(111)/YY_(2)O_(2)S(001)interfaces with various terminations were first investigated using the first-principles calculations.Secondly,the steels with and without yttrium were prepared,while the rare earth yttrium-based inclusions in low carbon steel were characterized using an electron probe micro-analyzer,and the grain size of steel was analyzed using a scanning electron microscope with electron backscattered diffraction.The results show that the bonding strength of Fe/Y_(2)O_(2)S interfaces with S-and Y-terminations is stronger than that of the interface with O-terminations.The Fe-hcp-S interfaces with S-termination have the highest work of adhesion(4.01 J/m2)and the lowest interface distance(1.323A).The Fe-hcp-S interface exhibits the highest stability,and its interfacial bonding force is mainly attributed to the strong hybridization of Fe-3d and S-2p orbitals in the energy range of-7.5-0 eV.Moreover,the interfacial energy of Fe-hcp-S is substantially lower than those of the ferrite(s)/Fe(L)interface and the ferrite-austenite interface,suggesting that Y_(2)O_(2)S inclusions in steel can efficiently promote ferrite nucleation.The experimental observations demonstrate that the ferrite grain size of steel containing 0.03 wt.% Y is much more refined than that of the steel without yttrium,and the average grain size of steel with and without Y is 102 and 258μm,respectively.This indicates that the results of our calculations match with experimental findings.

Background:Neglected tropical diseases(NTDs)affect poor populations with little or no’’political voice’to influence control activities.While most NTDs have interventions that work,the biggest challenge remains in delivering targeted interventions to affected populations residing in areas experiencing weak health systems.Despite the upward development trends in most countries of sub-Saharan Africa(SSA),the healthcare worker to population ratio remains exceptionally low,with some areas not served at all;thus,there is a need to involve other personnel for school and community-based healthcare approaches.Nonetheless,the current community-based programs suffer from inconsistent community participation due to a lack of coordinated response,and an expanded intervention agenda that lacks context-specific solutions applicable to rural,urban,and marginalized areas.Methods:This research investigated the capacity of local communities to address the burden of NTDs.Informed by the social theory of human capability,the research collected primary qualitative data by conducting key informant interviews and focus group discussions of people infected or affected by NTDs.The interview data were collected and transcribed verbatim for thematic analysis using Nvivo version 12.Results:Our findings reveal,first,a need for intersectoral collaboration between governments and affected populations for inclusive and sustainable NTD solutions.Second,a’’bottom-up’approach that enhances capacity building,sensitization,and behaviour change for improved uptake of NTD interventions.Third,the enforcement of Public Health Legislative Acts that mandates the reporting and treatment of NTDs such as leprosy.Fourth,the establishment of support groups and counseling services to assist persons suffering from debilitating and permanent effects of NTDs.Conclusions:Our research demonstrates the importance of human agency in encouraging new forms of participation leading to the co-production of inclusive and sustainable solutions against NTDs.

The inclusion complexes of poorly water-soluble cephalosporin, cefuroxime axetil(CFA), were prepared with β-cyclodextrin(βCD) with or without addition of L-arginine(ARG) to improve its physicochemical properties. We also investigated the effect of ARG on complexation efficiency(CE) of βCD towards CFA in an aqueous medium through phase solubility behaviour according to Higuchi and Connors. Although phase solubility studies showed AL(linear) type of solubility curve in presence and absence of ARG, the CE and association constant(Ks) of βCD towards CFA were significantly promoted in presence of ARG,justifying its use as a ternary component. The solid systems of CFA with βCD were obtained by spray drying technique with or without incorporation of ARG and characterized by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), X-ray powder diffractometry(XRPD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and saturation solubility and dissolution studies. The molecular modeling studies provided a better insight into geometry and inclusion mode of CFA inside βCD cavity. The solubility and dissolution rate of CFA were significantly improved upon complexation with βCD as compared to CFA alone. However, ternary system incorporated with ARG performed better than binary system in physicochemical evaluation. In conclusion, ARG could be exploited as a ternary component to improve the physicochemical properties of CFA via βCD complexation.

inclusion distribution in ingots was studied by dissection of a 16.8 t P12 ingot and a 5.0 t H13 ingot, with the analysis of T[O], original position statistic distribution analysis （OPA）, metallographic microscope static analysis and small sample electrolysis. The results showed that the inclusions in ingots were uneven; a positive segregation area was found in the center and lower part of the ingot, while a negative segregation area was present in the central part of ingot top; inclusion segregation in a large size ingot was severer than that in a small one. A new con cept, named inclusion segregation index, was put forward to quantify the segregation degree of inclusion. It was found that the segregation indexes drawn from T[O] analysis and OPA fit well, but they were different from those obtained by metallograpbic microscope static analysis and small sample electrolysis in the investigation of Pl 2 ingot, which contained a higher sulfur content; while the segregation index drawn from T[O] analysis was close to that from metallographic microscope static analysis in the H13 ingot with a lower sulfur content.

Segregation and inclusion precipitation are the common behaviours of steel solidification, which are resulted from the redistribution and diffusion of the solute elements at the solid-liquid interface. The effect of the phase transition of high-sulfur free-cutting steel is quantified in the present work for the solute partition coefficient(ki), inclusion precipitation, and microsegregation by establishing a coupling model of microsegregation and inclusion precipitation, wherein the quantified dependencies of ki in terms of temperature, phase and carbon(C) content were applied. Results showed that the solidification temperature range and phase transition of high-sulfur steel that under different solidification paths and C contents were quite different, leading to differences in ki and eventually in microsegregation. kC,kP, and kS were mainly affected by phase composition and kSi was primarily by temperature, while kMn depended on both phase composition and temperature during solidification. Increasing the C content within the interval 0.07-0.48 wt%, the ‘proportion of the δ phase maintained temperature region during solidification’(Pδ), kave Pand kave S(kiave, the average value of the ki across the whole stages of solidification)decreased monotonically, whereas kave Cincreased linearly. The peritectic reaction impacted on the phase composition and ki, leading to the change in microsegregation. Such effect of the peritectic reaction was more significant at the last stage of solidification. When the Pδ was between 75% and 100%(corresponding to 0.07-0.16 wt% C), the solidification path resulted in a greater effect on the microsegregation of solutes C, P, and S because of the peritectic reaction. The microsegregation of solutes Mn and S were comprehensively influenced by kMn, kS and Mn S precipitation as well. The studies would help reveal the solute redistribution at the solid-liquid interface, and improve the segregation of high-sulfur steel by controlling the solidification and precipitation in practice.

In order to improve the efficiency of β-CD,the inclusion complex of β-CD and resorcinol bisdiphenylphosphate (RDP) (β-CD@RDP) was prepared,which β-CD was as the host component and RDP was as the guest.The structure and thermal stability property of β-CD@RDP was also characterized.EP/β-CD@RDP composites were prepared by adding β-CD@RDP into EP matrix.The results of thermogravimetric test showed that the flame retardant systems could effectively increase the corresponding temperature of EP matrix to reach the maximum thermal decomposition rate,and exhibited good char-forming property.When the amount of β-CD@RDP in EP was 20wt%,the limiting oxygen index (LOI) value of EP was increased to 26.5% from 19.8%,and the vertical burning test (UL-94) reached V-1 level.The cone calorimeter test indicated that 20wt% loading in EP could reduce the peak of heat release rate (PHRR) and the total heat release (THR) of EP by 94.7% and 93.4% respectively,and the peak of smoke production rate (PSPR) and the total smoke production (TSP) was reduced by 16.7% and 22.2%,respectively.Therefore,the addition of β-CD@RDP could reduce the fire risk of EP effectively.

Geology, Mineralization, Fluid inclusion and Stable Isotope of the Early Cretaceous Sn and Associated Metal Deposits in the Southern Great Xing’an Range, NE China: A Review

The Southern Great Xing’an Range(SGXR) hosts a number of Early Cretaceous Sn and associated metal deposits, which can be divided into three principal types according to their geological characteristics: skarn type deposits, porphyry type deposits and hydrothermal vein type deposits. Fluid inclusion assemblages of different types of deposits are quite different, which represent the complexities of metallogenic process and formation mechanism. CH4 and CO2 have been detected in fluid inclusions from some of deposits, indicating that the ore-forming fluids are affected by materials of Permian strata. Hydrogen and oxygen isotope data from ore minerals and associated gangue minerals indicate that the initial ore fluids were dominated by magmatic waters, some of which had clearly exchanged oxygen with wall rocks during their passage through the strata. The narrow range for the δ34S values presumably reflects the corresponding uniformity of the ore forming fluids, and these δ34S values have been interpreted to reflect magmatic sources for the sulfur. The comparation between lead isotope ratios of ore minerals and different geological units’ also reveals that deeply seated magma has been a significant source of lead in the ores.

业务流程的变化域是潜在的、易导致系统出现非一致性的区域,从流程模型变化域的角度来分析业务系统可信性,也是解决业务系统可信管理的关键点之一.已有的研究大多数针对业务流程的控制流进行变化域分析,或将控制流与数据流进行交互分析,很少注意到两种流程交互时的行为包含关系及其影响.文中基于业务流程模型存在控制流和数据流,提出了基于Petri网Behavior inclusion的业务流程变化域融合分析方法,分别研究了业务流程控制流Petri网模型的变化域和数据流Petri网模型的变化域,并依据Behavior inclusion关系,确定了目标模型融合网的最终变化域.另外,对于存在沉默变迁的网提供了紧密度算法,分析业务流程控制流网、数据流网和融合网间的紧密度,以确定控制流模型或数据流模型对融合网变化域的影响程度.最后通过具体的实例分析与仿真实验,验证了该方法的有效性.
