Hydroxyl-epoxy phosphate （HEP） as a reactive corrosion inhibitor was innovatively synthe- sized by the reaction of bisphenol A epoxy resin with phosphoric acid. HEP was mixed with hydroxyl acrylate resin, and crosslinked with waterborne isocyanate curing agent, which was used to form waterborne HEP/acrylic polyurethane composite （HEP-APU） coatings on Q235 steel surfaces. electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and polarization curves were applied to analyze the corrosion behavior of the HEP-APU coatings in 3.5wt% NaCl solutions. The results indicated that the HEP-APU coatings show a superior passivation property and efficient corrosion protection of Q235 steel. The waterborne acrylic polyurethane coating containing 0.5wt% HEP exhibited the best corrosion performance among all the coating specimens. The improved flash-rust resistance can be attributed to the introduction of the phosphate group which could form phosphate film on the steel substrate.

The properties orAl based nanocomposite metal foams and their corrosion behaviors were investigated in this study. For this, the composite metal foams with different relative densities （porosity） reinforced with alumina nanoparticles were prepared using a powder me- tallurgy-based sintering-dissolution process （SDP） and NaC1 particles were used as space holders. Then, the effect of nanoparticle rein- forcement and different amounts of NaC1 space holders （corresponding porosity） on the microstructure, morphology, density, hardness, and electrochemical specifications of the samples were investigated. It was found that as the relative density increased from 60% to 70%, the wall thickness increased from about 200 to 300 pro, which led to a decrease in pore size. Also, the addition of nanoparticle reinforcement and the increased relative density result in increasing metal foam hardness. Moreover, electrochemical test results indicated that increasing the A1203 content reduced the corrosion rate, but increasing the porosity enhanced it.

The uniform cauliflower-like ZnO films were deposited on the conducting substrate by a chemical bath deposition in urea/water solution. The film structure and morphology were characterized by X-ray diffraction, thermo- gravimetric differential thermal analysis, energy dispersive spectroscopy, selected area electron diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and high resolution transmission electron microscopy. The average diameter of ZnO nanoparticles and the petal thickness were 25 nm and 8 μm, respectively. Dye- sensitized solar cells based on the cauliflower-like ZnO film electrode showed the short-circuit current density of 6.08 mA/cm2, the open-circuit photovoltage of 0.66 V, the fill factor of 0.55 and the overall conversion efficiency of 2.18%. The equivalent circuit of cells based on the ZnO film electrodes was measured by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Furthermore, the analysis of equivalent circuit provided the relationship between the cell performance and the interracial resistance, such as the shunt resistance and the series resistance.

PtSn2-SnO2/C nanocatalyst was prepared by co-reduction of Pt and Sn precursor at ca,15℃.The formation of PtSn2-SnO2 nanoparticle was determined by XRD,TEM and XPS *** PtSn2-SnO2/C nanocatalyst exhibits stronger resistance to CO poisoning and effectively improves methanol electro-catalytic effect,up to 3 times than the commercial Pt/C catalyst.

A novel sensor for the determination of warfarin based on a simple and sensitive method was developed on multiwalled-carbon-nanotube modified ZnCrFeO4 carbon paste electrodes（MWCNT/ZnCrFeO4/CPEs）. Cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to investigate the electrochemical behavior of warfarin at the chemically modified electrode. According to the results, MWCNT/ZnCrFeO4/CPEs showed high electrocatalytic activity for warfarin oxidation, producing a sharp oxidation peak current at about ＋0.97 vs Ag/AgCl reference electrode at pH = 4.0. The peak current was linearly dependent on warfarin concentration over the range of 0.02–920.0 μmol/L with a detection limit of 0.003 μmol/L. In addition, chronoamperometry was also used to determine warfarin＇s catalytic rate constant and diffusion coefficient at MWCNT/ZnCrFeO4/CPEs.
