Catalyst-free reductions of nitriles to amino-boranes using sodium amidoborane and lithiumborohydride

An efficient and facile method to reduce nitriles to amine-boranes was developed.Aromatic and aliphatic nitriles were readily reduced in the presence of both sodium amidoborane(NaAB)and LiBH4 at room temperature in THF without catalysts,affording products in up to 99%yield.The products can be easily hydrolyzed to afford primary amines or utilized as reducing reagents for one-pot reductive amination.The key finding of the reaction study is the synergy effect between NaAB and LiBH4;otherwise the reaction yield would drop substantially from 92%to 22%or 12%when NaAB and LiBH4 are used separately.

Summary of main observation and conclusion It is known that Rh-catalyzed reaction of propargyic alcohols with aryl metallic reagents undergoes Su2Z-type reaction affording alenes via a sequential arylmetalation andβ-OH elimination process.Here we report a Rh/Ag cocatalyed reaction of pro-pargylic alcohols with organoboronic acids affording stereo defined(E)-3-arlallylic alcohols via arylmetalation and protodemetalation with a high regio-and stereoselectivity under very mild conditions.The reaction exhibits a good substrate scope and the compatibility with synthetically useful functional groups with no racemization for optically active propargylic alcohols.Such a reaction may also be extended to homopropargylie alcohols with a remarka-ble regioselectivity and exclusive E-stereoselectity.

随着生活水平的不断提高,人们在基本的物质需求得到满足后,越来越重视这些"物"之本身品质和情感体验的追求。本文通过对afford ance和认知错觉性概念理论的梳理,阐述信息社会背景下基于afford ance的认知错觉性设计的开发意义,进而分析该类设计的两种分类途径,最后整理得出将afford ance和认知错觉性这两种看似相互矛盾的概念融合应用于高科技化产品设计之中的方法、思路。

The dihedral angle between the quinoxaline ring and the substituted phenyl ring is 7.0°. The C-C bond distance connecting these two rings is 1.495(4) A. The whole molecule is a conjugation system.
