Previous studies showed significant differences between expert architects and laypeople in aesthetic evaluations of buildings.However,studies exploring the aesthetic preferences of architecture students are lacking.The present study focused on a population of students and young architects to explore the aesthetic opinion shift within architectural careers.This study was intended to be a conceptual replication of the study of Brown and Gifford(2001)in a Central European context.A total of 109 participants(21-28 years old)evaluated 40 randomized pictures of houses to detect whether non-architecture undergraduates and fresh graduates of architecture would express different aesthetic preferences compared with their peers from the general population.The study also examined whether laypersons can predict the preferences of architects,and vice versa.Results show a trend that is contrary to the original research,that is,young architects and laypeople did not significantly differ in their aesthetic evaluations of the given stimuli.Analyses revealed high prediction ability in young architects and their non-architect peers.Moreover,the existing professional experience of young architects had no influence on the accuracy of their estimations.Findings suggest that the professional shift in architects'expertise is obscured at an early career stage,as revealed in their aesthetic preferences.

Chinese painting emphasizes sensation overall,spiritual morality and cultural taste,and weakens the form,and it is also a metaphor of the ideals,sentiments,cultivation,and temperament.Philosophy accounts for a large part of the ideological system of painting,so the aesthetic value of Chinese painting art is just living in the thought of “metaphor”.Where does the metaphorical aesthetic thought really root out? Regional environmental factors have created a harmonious unity of human and nature in agricultural civilization,and have also become the original body of our culture.The art of painting is rooted in the soil of national culture.The style,language and form are all reflected the unique aesthetic ideas of our culture.For thousands of years,Confucianism,Taoism,and Buddhism are the baselines of our country’s aesthetic thoughts.They shape the Chinese outlook in the world,outlook on life,cultural psychological structure and humanistic artistic ideals together.Meanwhile,they pay an important part in Chinese painting aesthetic taste and start the wisdom door of painting aesthetics.

The demand for procedures aiming to rejuvenate the upper third part of the face and the periocular region has increased in the past several years.Blepharoplasty is one of the most frequently performed procedures worldwide to date.Surgery is currently the first choice in order to achieve permanent and effective results;however,it is burdened by potential surgical complications feared by patients.There is an increasing trend in individuals to request less invasive,non-surgical,effective,and safe procedures for eyelid treatment.The aim of this minireview is to present a brief overview of non-surgical blepharoplasty techniques that have been reported in the literature in the past 10 years.Numerous modern techniques that provide a rejuvenation of the entire area have been described.Numerous less invasive methods have been proposed in the current literature and in modern-day routine clinical settings.Dermal fillers are a commonly chosen option for providing enhanced aesthetic results,especially considering that volume loss can be one of the main underlying causes of facial and periorbital aging.Deoxycholic acid use may be considered when the problem is represented by periorbital excess fat deposits.The simultaneous excess and loss of elasticity of the skin can be assessed with techniques such as lasers and plasma exeresis.Furthermore,techniques such as platelet-rich plasma injections and the insertion of twisted polydioxanone threads are emerging as viable methods to rejuvenate the periorbital region.

A 360°video stream provide users a choice of viewing one's own point of interest inside the immersive contents.Performing head or hand manipulations to view the interesting scene in a 360°video is very tedious and the user may view the interested frame during his head/hand movement or even lose it.While automatically extracting user's point of interest(UPI)in a 360°video is very challenging because of subjectivity and difference of comforts.To handle these challenges and provide user's the best and visually pleasant view,we propose an automatic approach by utilizing two CNN models:object detector and aesthetic score of the scene.The proposed framework is three folded:pre-processing,Deepdive architecture,and view selection pipeline.In first fold,an input 360°video-frame is divided into three sub frames,each one with 120°view.In second fold,each sub-frame is passed through CNN models to extract visual features in the sub-frames and calculate aesthetic score.Finally,decision pipeline selects the sub frame with salient object based on the detected object and calculated aesthetic score.As compared to other state-of-the-art techniques which are domain specific approaches i.e.,support sports 360°video,our syste m support most of the 360°videos genre.Performance evaluation of proposed framework on our own collected data from various websites indicate performance for different categories of 360°videos.

Background: Recent advances in breast reconstruction and the introduction of oncoplastic techniques have resulted in significant improvement in quality of life and psychological well-being of most patients. Nipple sparing mastectomy is a surgical technique that removes breast tissue while preserving the native skin envelope, infra-mammary fold and the NAC, which allows immediately reconstructed breasts to have an excellent cosmetic outcome. Aim: Our primary end point was for objective assessment of aesthetic outcome after NSM via more accurate new method and subsiding bias in that assessment and the secondary end point was for evaluating the influence of incision choice and recommending which incision is the best for each patient putting in mind cup size, degree of ptosis and body mass index of Egyptian patients. Methods: Starting January 2013 to November 2015, 74 patients with breast cancer underwent NSM with immediate reconstruction using LD flap with or without implant augmentation. Results: Incisions used are elliptical (37.8%), lateral (27%), peri-areolar (21.6%) and infra-mammary (13.5%). In 81.1% of the patients, the procedure was performed using extended LD flaps only, while in the remaining 18.9% the flaps were augmented using implant insertion. Axillary dissection was done in 68.9% of patients and SLN in 24.3% of patients. Overall aesthetic results were done by patient self-assessment, assessment by the surgeon, assessment by professional plastic breast surgeon and assessment by onco-plastic surgeon, and this was followed by statistical analysis of the agreement between the plastic surgeon and the onco-plastic surgeon. Conclusion: NSM is safe, feasible and offers adequate oncologic results along with excellent cosmetic outcome. Choice of incision and reconstruction should be tailored to suit each patient. Breast cancer patients can benefit from sound resection and enjoy a sense of wholeness.

Guizhou, with a cluster of multiple ethnic groups, is located in the southwest of China. In the province, there is up to 49 ethnic minorities whose population occupies around 1/3 of the total. Thanks to this, the multi-ethnic region is endowed with various folk art and culture of distinctive minority styles. This paper briefly discusses the outline of minority folk art in Guizhou, including its development and features, analyzes the aesthetic expression ways and characteristics of the art, and finally, puts forward some further thoughts from fine art, dancing art and batik art. This paper aims to further facilitate the development and innovation of the minority folk art of Guizhou, and add lustre to the progress of our national minority cultures.

External perceptions of individuals based on the presence of tattoos were assessed. College students completed anonline attitudinal assessment in a 4 × 2 design. Participants were asked to rate the aesthetics of tattoos and models（11 women and 17 men） from Photoshopped images. Results （n = 152 usable of 177 collected） indicate that aswhole models and tattoos are not affected in aesthetic appeal, but individually some models and tattoos wereaffected. Tattoos were rated as better quality art when the model can be seen; thus, contextualization allows forgreater appreciation of the tattoo. Results support extant research that indicates women＇s attractiveness is notaffected by tattoos, which also providing a new approach for tattooed individuals.

In this paper, we conduct research on development of aesthetic interaction and interaction design theory and the applications on art design fi eld. In this article to discuss the experience and the depth of the aesthetic object is limited in the fi eld of aesthetics, although both clearly show their subject or object, but if points in general is easy to fall into the quagmire of subjective idealism and mechanical materialism, it is off the aesthetic realm. It is on the basis of the unity between subject and object of this essay, it is in this, experience and the depth of the aesthetic object is worth exploring the intersection. Organizational communication and the reception aesthetics in their own unique research perspective and multi-disciplinary background, in the organization and the role of aesthetic gradually revealed, integration and interaction of the two is the inevitable trend of development. Under this basis, we propose the corresponding issues as the implementation that is meaningful.
