A Review of Road Accidents Detection through wireless Technology—5G, MIMO and Internet of Things

Road transport is been used for moving people and all kinds of goods throughout the world. However, it is one mode of transportation that is prone to accidents and it faces a plethora of never-ending challenges, such as the frequent loss of lives and valuables when accident occurs. The best course of action to handle these issues is to set up an autonomous incident detection system using wireless communication, 5G technologies and the Internet of Things. IoT is a seamless technology that increases the connectivity between humans and machines. It is web-based, and improves communication between vehicle to vehicle, vehicle to infrastructures, transfer of data and information to predict incident occurrences through various networks and frameworks such as eCall, OneM2M and integration of mobile broadband. Additionally, internet of things is being adopted for public safety;for instance, it can speed up first responders’ response times to situations by displaying the best routes to a scene of an accident. The rapid development of 5G is happening in parallel with developments of internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and smart platforms for novel applications such as mission-critical communications. 5G is a new generation technology that operates on the Ultra High Spectrum Band UHSB. It is an innovation that uses the pedestrians-vehicle-road-cloud, and the communication between vehicle locations and temperature of high-quality connection. It is essential for intelligent transport systems because it allows for information sharing, prediction of incidences as safety is the primary concern of road transport. This review examines accident detection through 5G technology, integrated mobile broadband, and multiple inputs multiple outputs (MIMO) wireless system. Finally, we conclude by examining recent technology, challenges, present and future research trends.

Symbiotic radio(SR)is an emerging green technology for the Internet of Things(IoT).One key challenge of the SR systems is to design efficient and low-complexity detectors,which is the focus of this *** first drive the mathematical expression of the optimal maximum-likelihood(ML)detector,and then propose a suboptimal iterative detector with low ***,we show through numerical results that our proposed detector can obtain near-optimal bit error rate(BER)performance at a low computational cost.

A Monolithic InGaP/GaAs HBT VCO for 5GHz wireless Applications

A monolithic voltage controlled oscillator （VCO） based on negative resistance principle is presented uti-lizing commercially available InGaP/GaAs hetero-junction bipolar transistor （HBT） technology. This VCO is de-signed for 5GHz-band wireless applications. Except for bypass and decoupled capacitors,no external component is needed for real application. Its measured output frequency range is from 4.17 to 4.56GHz,which is very close to the simulation one. And the phase noise at an offset frequency of 1MHz is -112dBc/Hz. The VCO core dissipates 15.5mW from a 3.3V supply,and the output power ranges from 0 to 2dBm. To compare with other oscillators,the figure of merit is calculated,which is about -173.2dBc/Hz. Meanwhile, the principle and design method of nega-tive resistance oscillator are also discussed.

A new design criterion and construction method for space-time trellis codes based on classification of error events

The known design criterions of Space-Time Trellis Codes （STFC） on slow Rayleigh fading channel are rank, determinant and trace criterion. These criterions are not advantageous not onlv in operation but also in performance. With classifying the error events of STTC, a new criterion was presented on slow Rayleigh fading channels. Basod on the criterion, an effective and straighttbrward multi-step method is proposed to ennstruet codes with better performance. This method can reduce the computation of search to small enough. Simulation results show that the codes searched by computer have the same or even better performance than the repored codes.

Implementation of ZigBee Gateway in Environmental Monitoring Network for Migration of Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens)

[ Objective ] The paper was to accomplish the integration between ZigBee wireless network and Internet in environmental monitoring network for migra- tion of planthopper. [ Method] The program of multifunctional ZigBee gateway based on S3C2410 ARM9 microprocessor was proposed, and the hardware structure and principle of key modules were introduced in detail. [ Result] This gateway usedZigBee and GPRS wireless transmission techndogy to realize data communica- tion between sensor nodes and remote monitoring center. The application in practice showed that the wireless gateway had high stability and low packet loss rates to meet the demand for migration of planthopper environmental monitoring. [ Conclusion] The study provided reference for monitoring and early warning of planthop- per migration.

CLOSED-FORM ERROR RATES OF STBC SYSTEMS AND ITS PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

The closed-form solutions for error rates of Space-Time Block Code (STBC) Multiple Phase Shift Keying (MPSK) systems are derived in this paper. With characteristic function based method and the partial integration based respectively, the exact expressions of error rates are obtained for (2,1) STBC with and without channel estimation error. Simulations show that the practical error rates accord with the theoretical ones, so closed-form error rates are accurate references for STBC performance evaluation. For the error of pilot assisted channel estimation, the performance of a (2,1) STBC system is deteriorated about 3dB.

Incremental-based Nonlinear Detection Algorithm for MIMO System

A novel incremental nonlinear detection algorithm is presented for Multiple-Input Multiple-Output （MIMO） system. In this algorithm, the received data at multiple receiver antennas are nonlinearly mapped and then summed with weights. The weight coefficients are incrementally computed to avoid direct computation of the inverse of a matrix, which greatly reduce the computational complexity. Simulation and comparison show that the proposed algorithm can obtain better performance of Bit Error Rate （BER） than linear Minimum Mean Square Error （MMSE）.

Along with the development of wireless communication technology, each kind of corresponding terminal sets the very high request to antenna’s miniaturization. In order to solve the problem, the paper designs a kind of advanced antenna based on wearable computing technology. The conclusion is drawn from the comparison between actual measurement results and the simulation results that the advanced antenna meets the requirement of wireless communication, with the advantages of low profile structure and simple processing.

＜正＞The new side information generating mechanism,difference threshold test（DTT）, is proposed to improve the capacity of asynchronous frequency-hopped multiple access system with binary frequency shift keying（BFSK） signaling over Rayleigh fading *** adjusting the threshold in the DTT decision logic,the optimum capacity can be obtained and proved advantageous over that with conventional hard decision. For the systems with signal-to-noise ratio ranging from 10 to 13 dB,this improvement can be over 12%.
