The application of the laser Raman spectroscopic（LRS） technique for the analysis of liver tissues from rats with myocardial ischemia induced by isoproterenol（ISO） was *** model of myocardial ischemia was established for rats induced by *** were randomly divided into four groups as normal group and myocardial ischemia *** observed the successful myocardial ischemia model via serum enzymes levels and hematoxylin-eosin（HE） staining,and detected the liver tissue of the rats from normal group and liver tissue of the rats from myocardial ischemia groups via uv-vis spectroscopy（uv-vis） and LRS,and the changes of the absorbance spectra were compared in the above four different *** results show that ISO can induce rat myocardial ischemia *** spectrum of normal liver tissue supernatant exhibits a strong absorption band at 968 nm,but no absorption band appears in the spectra of liver tissue supernatant solutions from the rats with myocardial ischemia induction after 2,12 and 72 h presented at 968 *** results show that Raman intensities of the precipitates suffered from ISO-treatment after 2,12 and 72 h were obviously increased compared with that of the precipitate of the liver tissue of the normal rats suffered from 0.9 g/L normal saline（NS） *** results indicate that LRS and uv-vis can be harmless,nondestructive,rapid and effective methods for analyzing different pathological specimens of liver tissue from myocardial ischemia rats.

In this work,we are interested in the synthesis of new hybrid material(C_(6)H_(10)N_(2))(Hg_(2)Cl_(5))_(2)·3H_(2)O grown by hydrothermal methods.X-ray diffraction indicates that this compound crystallizes at 150(2)K in the monoclinic system with C2/c space group,with the following unit cell parameters:a=19:6830(15)Å,b=18:1870(15)Å,c=6:8567(6)Å,β=93:224ð3Þ○and Z=*** the other hand,the optical properties of this compound were studied using ultraviolet-visible(uv-vis)spectroscopy in the range 200-800 ***,the optical absorbances are used to determine the absorption coefficientαand the optical band gap E g,so the Tauc model was used to determine the optical gap energy of the compound(C_(6)H_(10)N_(2))(Hg_(2)Cl_(5))_(2)·3H_(2)*** analysis of the results revealed the existence of optical allowed indirect transition mechanisms with the band gap energy equal to(2.37 eV)for liquid and(4.33 eV)for *** measurements indicate that the electrical and dielectric properties are strongly dependent on both temperature and *** plots(Z'' versus Z ')show that the conductivity behavior is accurately represented by an equivalent circuit model which consists of a series combination of bulk and grain ***,the angular frequency dependence plots of the real and imaginary parts,ε' andε'',of complex dielectric permittivityε*and tanδlosses at several temperatures between 303 and 453 K were studied for the title ***,the modulus plots can be characterized by the presence of two relaxation peaks.

Electrochemical and Spectroscopic Studies on Interaction between Complex of Copper(Ⅱ) with Schiff Base Ligand and DNA

2,4,6-trinitrotoluene(TNT)and its byproducts drinitrotoluene(DNT)pose a significant risk to human health and other living ***,the conventionally analytical methods involved in bulky and expensive instruments are complicated and time-consuming,impeding the quick and on-line *** the work,a facile yet effective strategy of utilizing uv-vis spectroscopy coupled with partial least squares(PLS)was proposed,through which TNT and two isomers of DNT in nature water could be rapidly and simultaneously determined without any *** combination population analysis(VCPA)was utilized to select important feather variables and significantly improves the predictive performance of the PLS *** calibration set contains 25 samples constructed by orthogonal array design(OAD).The predictive ability of the models was validated by an independent prediction set including 15 samples,achieving up to 0.99 of the determination coefficients(R)for each of the ***,the optimized PLS-VCPA models were successfully applied to test the three ingredients in six real water samples involving in tap,lake and river *** recovery values were close to 100%,exhibiting good promise in ***,the combination of the uv-vis spectroscopy and PLS method coupled with the efficient variable-selection method has high potential to be a simple,quick and accurate method for the determination of TNT,2,4-DNT and 2,6-DNT in water *** strategy could advance analytical methods in environmental monitoring and the other complicated systems with multiple components.

The crystal structure of ([CuL(H_2O)_2](ClO_4)_2·2H_2O, CuL)(L=N-(5-sulfosalicylidene)-4′-bromoaniline) was determined by means of X-ray crystallography. The interaction between CuL and salmon sperm DNA in a 0.1 mol/L HOAc-NaOAc buffer solution(pH 5.10) was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and uv-vis spectroscopy. A couple of redox peaks of CuL in the cyclic voltammograms(CV) can be seen at the glassy carbon electrode. It was found that the peak current of CuL decreased significantly with a negative shift of the peak potential in the presence of DNA compared with that in the absence of DNA. In addition, the decreased absorbance of CuL was observed with increasing the concentration of DNA; the absorption spectrum of an ethidium bromide(EB)-DNA system in the presence of CuL confirms that the binding mode of CuL to DNA is different from the intercalation of EB with DNA. All the experimental results indicate that CuL can bind to DNA by electrostatic binding and form a 1∶1 association complex with a binding constant of 2.72×10 4 L/mol.

Rare earth ortho-oxomolybdates of composition Ln2/aMoO4 （Ln=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Er and Y） were prepared by metathesis reaction. All these materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR） and uv-vis diffuse reflectance spectra. The Rietveld analysis of all the samples was carried out to obtain the unit cell parameters and reliability factors. All the materials were crystallized in tetragonal lattice with I41/a space group. The infrared spectra of all the samples were characterized by bands due to MoO42 units. The bandgap energies of all the samples were obtained from uv-vis DRS spectra. The luminescence spectra of Ln2/3MoO4 （Ln=Pr, Eu and Dy） showed characteristic transitions of the rare earth ions. The visible light photocatalytic activity of all the samples was studied against degradation of methylene blue.

The interaction of caffeine with bovine serum albumin （BSA） under physiological condition was investigated by fluorescence, uv-vis absorption and circular dichroism （CD） spectroscopy. Fluorescence data revealed that the fluorescence quenching of BSA by caffeine was a result of the formation of BSA-caffeine complex. The binding constants Ka at different temperatures and corresponding thermodynamic parameters △H, △G and △S were calculated. The spectroscopic measurements and the thermodynamic parameters suggested that van der Waals interaction and hydrogen bonds were the predominant intermolecular forces to stabilize the complex. The conformational change of BSA induced by caffeine has been analyzed by means of CD and synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy. Furthermore, it is observed from the probe of competitive experiments that the binding location of caffeine with BSA could be the same as warfarin binding site I of BSA, which was also revealed by fluorescence anisotropy.

Here, we report the synthesis and characterizations of sol-gel derived zinc oxide （ZnO） quantum dots （QDs） using zinc acetate dihydrate （Zn（CH3COO）2.2H20） and lithium hydroxide monohydrate （LiOH.H20） as raw material. The as-prepared ZnO QDs was annealed at different temperature （400, 700, and 900 ℃） and the structural, optical properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, high resolution transmission electron microscopy （HRTEM）, uv-vis and photoluminescence （PL） spectroscopy. The powder XRD patterns of the obtained samples showed the formation of single-phase wurtzite structure and the morphological changes have been observed with increasing annealing temperature. In the absorption spectra, the optical band gap of nanocrystalline ZnO QDs decreased from 3.18 to 3.11 eV and the particle size increased with increasing temperature. In the PL spectra, a broad green emission peak related to defect levels in the visible range of the spectra have been recorded.

The interaction of calf thymus DNA（ctDNA） with berberine（Ber） was systematically investigated via uv-vis,fluorescence and phosphorescence spectroscopies in aqueous solution and on solid *** very weak fluorescence intensity of Ber at 525 nm in aqueous solution can be greatly enhanced by *** uv-vis spectrum shows that Ber could bind with DNA by *** addition,strong fluorescence of Ber alone could be observed on filter paper substrate and can be quenched by ctDNA effectively,and the increase of fluorescence polarization of Ber on the filter paper implies the intercalation *** emits phosphorescence at 619 nm in the presence of thallium（I） *** lifetime of Ber increased from 38.4 ms to 43.4 ms with the increase of *** increase of lifetime is possibly attributed to the increase of rigidity of Ber after its intercalating into the ctDNA base *** explanation is also augmented by the anionic quenching *** behaves as a typical intercalating agent into *** intrinsic binding constant between Ber and ctDNA is（1.84±0.12）×10^4 L/mol and n=0.16.

The binding of kaempferol-3,7-α-L-rhamnopyranoside （KRR） with bovine serum albumin （BSA） was investi- gated by different spectroscopic methods under simulative physiological conditions. Analysis of fluorescence quenching data of BSA by KRR at different temperatures using Stern-Volmer methods revealed the formation of a ground state KRR-BSA complex with moderate binding constant of the order 10^4 Lomol-1. The existence of some metal ions could weaken the binding of KRR on BSA. The changes in the van＇t Hoff enthalpy （△H0） and entropy （△S0） of the interaction were estimated to be --26.53 ***-1 and 3.33 ***-l.K-1 and both hydrophobic and electrostatic forces contributed to stabilizing the BSA-KRR complex. According to the F6ster theory of non-radiation energy transfer, the distance r between the donor （BSA） and the acceptor （KRR） was obtained （r= 2.83 nm）. Site marker competitive experiments showed that KRR could bind to Site I of BSA. In addition, synchronous fluorescence, uv-vis absorption and circular dichroism （CD） results indicated that the KRR binding could cause conformational changes of BSA.
