Dear Editor,This letter investigates a multi-agent path planning problem in a road network with the requirement of avoiding collisions among all agents in the partitioned environment.We first abstract the agents to a set of transition systems,and construct a team transition system from these individual systems.A mechanism is designed for the team transition system to detect all collisions within the synthesized run.

This study aimed to evaluate the spatial and Temporal variations of molybdenum(Mo)in the downstream water body of a Mo mine during three hydrologic periods(wet,dry and medium seasons).The physical properties in Luhun Reservoir reflected seasonal variations in different hydrological periods.The redox potential(ORP)and dissolved oxygen(DO)increased in the dry season.The concomitant decrease in temperature(T),conductivity(COND)and total dissolved solids(TDS)were lowest in the wet season.The p H value did not change significantly during the three hydrologic periods.The distribution of Mo in the dry season was high in upstream and low in downstream areas,which was significantly different from that of the wet and medium seasons.The total Mo concentration in wet(150.1μg/L)and medium season(148.2μg/L)was higher than that in the dry season,but the TDS(288.3 mg/L)and the percentage dissolved Mo(81.3%)in overlying water was lowest in the wet season.There was no significant relationship between the dissolved Mo and the total Mo with TDS.In the dry season,the mean total Mo concentration was 116.3μg/L,which was higher than the standard limit value(70μg/L)for drinking water(US EPA-United States Environmental Protection Agency recommended value 40μg/L).Non-point source pollution is the main characteristic of mining area pollution,which was closely related to rainfall.Thus,the Luhun Reservoir contains substantial Mo pollution,which was a significant concern given that it is used as a source of drinking and irrigation water.

BACKGROUND Entrapment of the Temporal horn (ETH) is a rare pathologic condition. It is a kind of focal hydrocephalus caused by obstruction of flow pathway of cerebrospinal fluid. It is caused by various conditions, but ETH secondary to postoperative gamma-knife radiosurgery (GKS) is extremely rare. CASE SUMMARY A 52-year old previously healthy woman underwent resection of a large intraventricular meningioma. A small fragment of residual tumor with no obvious enlargement of the Temporal horn was observed 3 mo after surgery, and she was referred for GKS. Two months after GKS, she complained of headache and progressive paralysis of the left limb. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed enlargement of the Temporal horn. There was a second procedure to resect the residual tumor 8 mo after GKS. After the second procedure, she recovered smoothly. As of the date of this writing, she has remained in good condition. CONCLUSION This case reminds us that ETH should be considered in the treatment of intraventricular meningiomas, especially before GKS.

Individuals may reduce competition by Temporally partitioning their use of a shared resource. Behavioral differences between sexes in ungulates may encourage segregation as individuals attempt to avoid antagonistic interactions. However, dominant sex and age groups may reduce subordinates' access to food resources, regardless of the subordinate's sex. We hypothesized that white-tailed deer Odocoileus Virginian us Temporally segregated at supplemental feedi ng sites based on social rank (subordinate: yearling males and adult females;dominant: adult males) and that segregation was affected by phase of the breeding season and diel cycle. If deer Temporally segregate according to social rank, we predicted that the resulting activity patterns would manifest in one social class being relatively more susceptible to hunter-induced mortality. We used a multistate modeling approach to quantify Temporal segregation and calculated the probability that a feeding site was in a particular state during diurnal and nocturnal hours for each of the 3 phases of the breeding season. We determined that transition probabilities differed by season and diel cycle and dominant and subordinate social classes clearly avoided each other, with Temporal segregation at feeding sites and is affected by the phase of the breeding season. Small populations with low genetic diversity are prone to extinction. Knowledge on the genetic diversity and structure of small populations and their genetic response to anthropogenic effects are of critical importance for conservation management. In this study, samples of Ancherythroculter nigrocauda, an endemic cyprinid fish from the upper reaches of Yangtze River, were collected from five sites to analyze their genetic diversity and population structure using mitochondrial cytochrome b gene and 14 microsatellite loci. Haplotype diversity, nucleotide diversity, and expected heterozygosity indicated that the A. nigrocauda populations had low genetic diversity, and decreased heavily from 2001 to 2016. Significant genetic differentiation was found among different populations in the cyt b gene and SSR markers based on the genetic differentiation index (F ST), whereas no differentiation was found in 2001. Haplotype genealogy showed that eight out of 15 haplotypes were private to one population. The SSR STRUCTURE analysis showed that there were four genetic clusters in the A. nigrocauda samples, with each population forming a single cluster, except for the Chishui River (CSR) and Mudong River (MDR) populations, which formed a common cluster. Therefore, loss of genetic diversity and increased genetic differentiation were found in the A. nigrocauda populations, which could be attributed to dam construction, overfishing, and water pollution in the upper Yangtze River. It is therefore recommended that the government should ban fishing, control water pollution, increase river connectivity, and establish artificial breeding and stocking.

The study of sulfur hexafluoride(SF6) discharge is vital for its application in gas-insulated equipment. Direct current partial discharge(PD) may cause SF6 decomposition, and the decomposed products of SF6, such as F atoms, play a dominant role in the breakdown of insulation systems. In this study, the PD caused by metal protrusion defects is simulated by a needle-plate electrode using pulsed high voltage in SF6/Ar mixtures. The spatial and Temporal characteristics of SF6/Ar plasma are analyzed by measuring the emission spectra of F and Ar atoms, which are important for understanding the characteristics of PD. The spatial resolved results show that both F and Ar atom spectral intensities increase first from the plate anode to the needle and then decrease under the conditions of a background pressure of400 Pa, peak voltage of-1000 V, frequency of 2 kHz, pulse width of 60 μs, and electrode gap of 5-9 mm. However, the distribution characteristics of F and Ar are significantly different. The Temporal distribution results show that the spectral intensity of Ar decreasesfirst and then increases slowly, while the spectral intensity of F increases slowly for the duration of the pulsed discharge at the electrode gap of 5 mm and the pulse width of40-80 μs.

Secondary forests and human-made forest gaps are conspicuous features of tropical landscapes.Yet,behavioral responses to these aspects of anthropogenically modified forests remain poorly investigated.Here,we analyze the effects of small human-made clearings and secondary forests on tropical bats by examining the guild-and species-level activity patterns of phyllostomids sampled in the Central Amazon,Brazil.Specifically,we contrast the Temporal activity patterns and degree of Temporal overlap of 6 frugivorous and 4 gleaning animalivorous species in old-growth forest and second-growth forest and of 4 frugivores in old-growth forest and forest clearings.The activity patterns of frugivores and gleaning animalivores did not change between old-growth forest and second-growth,nor did the activity patterns of frugivores between old-growth forest and clearings.However,at the species level,we detected significant differences for Artibeus obscurus(old-growth forest vs.second-growth)and A.concolor(old-growth forest vs.clearings).The degree of Temporal overlap was greater than random in all sampled habitats.However,for frugivorous species,the degree of Temporal overlap was similar between old-growth forest and second-growth;whereas for gleaning animalivores,it was lower in second-growth than in old-growth forest.On the contrary,forest clearings were characterized by increased Temporal overlap between frugivores.Changes in activity patterns and Temporal overlap may result from differential foraging opportunities and dissimilar predation risks.Yet,our analyses suggest that activity patterns of bats in second-growth and small forest clearings,2 of the most prominent habitats in humanized tropical landscapes,varies little from the activity patterns in old-growth forest.

The air transportation system has a critical impact on the global economy.While the system reliability is essential for the operational management of air traffic,it remains challenging to understand the network reliability of the air transportation system.This paper focuses on how the global air traffic is integrated from local scale along with operational time.The integration process of air traffic into a Temporally connected network is viewed as percolation process by increasing the integration time constantly.The critical integration time TPwhich is found during the integration process can measure the global reliability of air traffic.The critical links at TPare also identified,the delay of which will influence the global integration of the airport network.These findings may provide insights on the reliability management for the Temporal airport network.
