A major problem with all high frequency (HF) radars is a relatively poor range resolution available due to many interference soturces. To avoid the interferences in frequency domain and operate with widehand, the randomly discontinuous spectra (RDS) signal is employed. However, it results in high range sidelobes when matching the reflected echo, which is much more difficult for target detection. A new signal processing technique that is radically different from the conventional technique to lower range sidelobes is introduced. This method is based on suppressing the selfclutter of the radar range ambiguity {unction (AF) by mismatched filtering. An effective algorithm is adopted to solve the filter coefficients. Simulation results show that the peak sidelobe level can be reduced to -30dB and the achievable system bandwidth is about 400KHz. The technique is adaptable to practical radar systems and applicable for other realtime signal processing.

Blind separation of independent sources from their nonlinear convoluted mixtures is a more realistic problem than from linear ones. A solution to this problem based on the Entropy Maximization principle is presented. First we propose a novel two-layer network as the de-mixing system to separate sources in nonlinear convolved mixture. In output layer of our network we use feedback network architecture to cope with convoluted mixtures. Then we derive learning algorithms for the two-layer network by maximizing the information entropy. Based on the comparison of the computer simulation results, it can be concluded that the proposed algorithm has a better nonlinear convolved blind signal separation effect than the H.H. Y's algorithm.

The quaternion windowed fractional Fourier transform(QWFRFT) is a generalized form of the quaternion fractional Fourier transform(QFRFT), it plays a crucial role in signal processing for the analysis of multidimensional signals. In this paper, we first give the definition of the two-sided QWFRFT and some fundamental properties. Then, the quaternion convolution is proposed, and the relation between the quaternion convolution and the classical convolution is also given. Based on the quaternion convolution of the QWFRFT, relevant convolution theorems for the QWFRFT are ***, the fast algorithm for QWFRFT is ***, the complexity of QWFRFT and the quaternion windowed fractional convolution are given.

This paper will propose the study of a the control of a coupled wind turbine to a stand alone electric generator based on other renewable energies and storage systems In this study a new method has been investigated to design the Maximum Power Point tracking （MPPT） in order to have a good efficiency with a simple approach. From the wind mill characteristics, in particular its power rate, we propose to drive the wind mill at optimal power by a dichotomy algorithm in association with the vector control of the asynchronous generator. Simulation results will be confronted to published results, issued from method developed by different authors. A test bench has also been carried out at reduced scale. The test bench will use a DSP （Digital signal Processor） board on which the new algorithm has been implemented. Software development has been carried out using Matlab-Simulink environment.

Bearing faults of rotating machinery are observed as impulses in the vibration signal, but it is mostly immersed in noise. In order to effectively remove this noise and detect the impulses, a novel technique with multiple frequency energy spectrum (MFES) and Bayesian network(BN) inference is proposed in this paper. Original acceleration signals are processed by fast Fourier transformation (FFT) from the time domain to frequency domain. According to the analysis of the frequency information, the MFES is put forward to extract features from vibration under normal and faulty conditions of rotational mechanical systems. These features were given as inputs for training and testing the BN model. By existing BN inference algorithms, and the inference result for fault diagnosis is provided. With BN inference algorithms being coupled to this new technique, it makes the presented approach be able to detect early faults. Experimental results show that the proposed approach is effective and robust in bringing out the early bearing fault classification of rotating machinery.
