The development trend of Fischer–Tropsch(F–T)technology is to develop high value-added *** separation of linearα-olefns with low cost is an efective ***,the lack of thermodynamic data and the huge energy consumption are the two main problems restricting the development of the separation *** thermodynamic data of the key components(1-dodecene and n-dodecane)in the F–T product were *** Wilson binary interaction parameters of the key components were ***,one traditional distillation column sequence and two dividing wall column(DWC)sequences were designed to separate the F–T heavy oil to obtain narrow fractions with diferent carbon ***,the obtained fractions of C10 and C12 were simulated to obtain 1-decene and 1-dodecene,*** was a traditional distillation and a diferential pressure thermal coupling distillation *** separating 95.0%purity 1-decene and 1-octene,the direct DWC process and diferential pressure thermal coupled distillation are an excellent combination,which can reduce the energy by 33.1%(i.e.,11,286 kW)and total annual cost by 15.9%(i.e.,3.96×10^(6)$)compared with traditional distillation.

The production of microalgae as a fatty acid oil resource for use in biofuels production is a widespread research topic at the lab *** contain a higher lipid content on a dry-weight basis compared to oilseeds such as ***,the growth and cultivation cycle of microalgae is 15 days,in comparison to soybeans,for which the cycle occurs once or twice ***,to date,it has been uneconomical to produce microalgae oils in a world-scale facility due to limitations in cultivating microalgae at commercial *** developments suggest that the use of heterotrophic microalgae may be economically feasible for large-scale oil *** assess this feasibility,a comparative scoping study was performed analysing the feasibility of an industrial-scale process plant for the growth and extraction of oil from *** were developed at the preliminary design level using heterotrophic subspecies and autotrophic subspecies of Chlorella *** Class 4 cost estimates and economic analyses were *** study concludes that processes based on heterotrophic microalgae are more likely to reach economic feasibility than processes using autotrophic ***,a few barriers still remain to achieving free-market economic viability.

The aim of this paper was preliminary design of the process for low-temperature coal tar hydrocrackmg m supercritical gasoline based on Aspen Plus with the concept of energy self-sustainability. In order to ensure the correct- ness and accuracy of the simulation, we did the following tasks： selecting reasonable model compounds for low-tem- perature coal tar; describing the nature of products gasoline and diesel accurately; and confirming the proper property study method for each block by means of experience and trial. The purpose of energy self-sustainability could be pos- sibly achieved, on one hand, by using hot stream to preheat cold stream and achieving temperature control of streams, and on the other hand, by utilizing gas （byproduct of the coal tar hydrocracking） combustion reaction to provide energy. Results showed that the whole process could provide a positive net power of about 609 kW-h for processing the low- temperature coal tar with a flowrate of 2 268 kg/h. The total heat recovery amounted to 2 229 kW-h, among which 845 kW＇h was obtained from the gas combustion reaction, and 1 116 kW＇h was provided by the reactor＇s outlet stream, with the rest furnished by hot streams of the products gasoline, diesel and residue. In addition, the process flow sheet could achieve products separation well, and specifically the purity of product gasoline and diesel reached 97.2% and 100%, respectively.

Global warming caused by excess carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emission has been a focus of the *** development of neutral carbon technologies becomes a strategic choice for the sustainable human *** CO_(2) capture and conversion(iCCC)technology can simultaneously convert the captured CO_(2) from flue gas into value-added chemicals,which saves great energies and expenses incurred in CO_(2) compression and transportation processes of conventional carbon capture,utilization,and storage(CCUS)*** present review criti-cally discusses the dual-function materials(DFMs)and the iCCC technology at intermediate temperature for methane production and high temperature for syngas *** design of reactor and optimization of operation conditions are emphasized from the perspective of industrial *** dual-fixed-bed reactors mode by switching the flue gas and reactant gases,and the dual-fluidized-bed reactors mode by the circulation of DFMs particles are comparatively *** hope this review can stimulate further studies including designing and fabricating feasible DFMs,exploring realistic catalytic process for CO_(2) conversion to high value-added chemicals,developing workable reactor modes and optimizing operation conditions,and establishing industrial demonstration for real applications of iCCC technology in the future.

Welding technique studies on the “West-East” pipeline project

This paper described the work of welding process design for the ＂ West-East＂ pipeline project, which is high pressure, large diameter and heavy wall thickness. According to the different geographical situation, climate, culture and the flexibility of the welding methods, this work recommended the semi-automatic process at the east and middle sections and automatic process at the west section of the pipeline project. The manual process is recommended on the tie-in joints and repairs. The double joint pipe and the 3 joint pipe are recommended at the water net place and some in-ditch welding place to reduce the welding volume. Also the special redesigned bevels are recommended for the automatic process and the semiautomatic process. Through all destructive tests, the results shows the welds are meet the requirements of related standards, specifications and design documents.
