Relaxation labeling for non-rigid point matching under neighbor preserving

Non-rigid point matching has received more and more ***,many works have been developed to discover global relationships in the point set which is treated as an instance of a joint ***,the local relationship among neighboring points is more effective under non-rigid ***,a new algorithm taking advantage of shape context and relaxation labeling technique,called SC-RL,is proposed for non-rigid point *** is a strategy that joints estimation for correspondences as well as the *** this work,correspondence assignment is treated as a soft-assign process in which the matching probability is updated by relaxation labeling technique with a newly defined compatibility *** compatibility coefficient is one or zero depending on whether neighboring points preserving their relative position in a local coordinate *** comparative analysis has been performed against four state-of-the-art algorithms including SC,ICP,TPS-RPM and RPM-LNS,and the results denote that SC-RL performs better in the presence of deformations,outliers and noise.

Many vision tasks such as 3D measurement, scene reconstruction, object recognition, etc., rely on feature correspondence among images. This paper presents a novel binocular method taking full account of the causes of matching ambiguities. On the basis of rectification which increases the distribution similarity of the points from the two images, the dynamic programming technique is used to search for an optimal path with the matching fashions of the most appropriate correspondences along each scan line as its nodes, which makes a global minimization of the summation of all the intra- and inter-scan line disparity gradients. This method was applied to the 3D surface measurement for an inflatable parabolic reflector with satisfactory results despite the significantly different viewpoints and occlusion that indicates the robustness, efficiency and application feasibility in real-time measurement field of this method.

This paper presents an efficient method for rigid registration of 3-D point sets,which intends to match the feature points inspected using touch probe with the points on designed CAD *** alignment error is defined as the least square problem,and the sphere radius of the inspection probe is *** this framework,the matching problem is converted into acquiring six Euler variables problem by solving nonlinear ***,a matrix transformation of parameter separation is presented to get the approximate ***,iterative cycles are provided to calculate the nearest points on designed surface corresponding to the inspection *** verification is realized for the presented surface matching method of robot inspection system.
