Analysis of pesticide Raid^(█) in Feed of Wistar Rat by High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

The distribution of pesticide by-product in tissues of wistar rats were analyzed using high pressure liquid chromatography. The limit of detection of the HPLC was 0.1 μg. Results show bioaccumulation factor of pesticide “Raid?” in lipid, up to three times that of the feed at the first concentration and gradually decreased as the concentration increased in the muscle > (0.7), brain > (0.5) and liver > (0.3) as indicated in the text. At higher concentration of 961 μg/g, bioaccumulation factor decreased in the lipid to 1.2 and 0.6 in the muscle, 0.03 in the brain and 0.08 in the liver respectively. High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis of raid extract suggests the presence of micprothrin and palethrin. The implications are numerous, but simply put that accidental ingestion of chlorinated hydrocarbon as in “Raid?” may involve convulsions, collapse and coma after only brief excitation and ataxia at the onset.

This project is funded by the China government to develop the industrialization process of pesticide residue grade n-hexane, in which the industrial n-Hexane is used as crude purified by decoloration, distillation and filtration process. The products are validated by National Research Center for Environmental Analysis and Measurement (CNEAC), National Research Center for Geoanalysis, Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine (CAIQ), Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) and other government originations for polychlorinated biphenyls, organochlorine pesticide or chiral pesticides analysis and further confirmed that it’s competitive to all others imported n-Hexane currently occupied in China. This patented technique will meet pesticide residue grade n-Hexane market in China and seek for cooperation globally.

＜正＞Microdialysis sampling was investigated as a liquid-phase microextraction in the analysis of pesticide residual in tea water before GC/MS and GC/ECD *** pesticides,including bromopropylate, chiorfenapyr,chlorpyrifos,ethion and procymidone in tea water samples,were enriched in the LPME solvent by diffusing through a hollow fiber membrane under the optimal *** the extraction process of LPME, the extraction solvent was withdrew with micro-syringe plug and then injected into GC/MS and GC/ECD system for separation and *** affecting the efficiency of hollow-fiber protected LPME,such as extraction solvent,pH of tea samples,salt addition and extraction time,were investigated in detail to obtain an optimum *** results indicated that the extraction of 50 mL tea water,with a 17-cm length of membrane fiber and hexane as extraction solvent for 30 min achieved the best extraction efficiency of more than 80% recovery and less than 9% *** real samples were obtained from supermarket,and some of pesticides were measured in the amounts varied from 10.5-92μg/*** proposed method provided a simple and rapid procedure to collect pesticides from tea water samples by only using a few organic solvent.
