Due to dramatically increasing information published in social networks,privacy issues have given rise to public concerns.Although the presence of differential privacy provides privacy protection with theoretical foundations,the trade-off between privacy and data utility still demands further improvement.However,most existing studies do not consider the quantitative impact of the adversary when measuring data utility.In this paper,we firstly propose a personalized differential privacy method based on social distance.Then,we analyze the maximum data utility when users and adversaries are blind to the strategy sets of each other.We formalize all the payoff functions in the differential privacy sense,which is followed by the establishment of a static Bayesian game.The trade-off is calculated by deriving the Bayesian Nash equilibrium with a modified reinforcement learning algorithm.The proposed method achieves fast convergence by reducing the cardinality from n to 2.In addition,the in-place trade-off can maximize the user's data utility if the action sets of the user and the adversary are public while the strategy sets are unrevealed.Our extensive experiments on the real-world dataset prove the proposed model is effective and feasible.

BACKGROUND Identifying biomarkers for the risk of developing degenerative processes linked to aging and colorectal cancer(CRC) onset that could improve clinical strategies.AIM To determine valid targets and a predictive biomarker's system of chronicization of inflammation for cancer treatment.METHODS A group of 147 CRC patients was studied. Clinical diagnosis was confirmed histopathologically, and patients were sub-typed using the pathological tumornode-metastasis classification. Thirteen colon adenoma patients and 219 healthy subjects were also studied. A system biology study on Thioredoxin1/CD30 redox-immune systems(Trx1/CD30), T helper cytokines and polymorphisms of killer immunoglobulin-like receptors, FcγRIIa-131 H/R and FcγRIIIa-158 V/F was carried out. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was performed to analyze sera.Genetic study was executed by polymerase chain reaction sequence-specific primers and sequence-based typing method. Statistical analysis was performed by using the "Statgraphics software systems".RESULTS We found a positive increase between Trx1/RTrx1 levels and sCD30 level and increased age. With respect to the gender relationships, there were distinct differences. Females showed a primary relationship between transforming growth factor beta(TGFβ) with Trx1, whereas males had one with TGFβ and RTrx1. Trx1/CD30 controls the redox immune homeostasis, and an imbalance in the relationship between the Trx1/RTrx1 and sCD30 levels is linked to the onset and progression of tumor. This event happens through different gender-specific cytokine pathways. Our study demonstrated that the serum levels ofTrx1/RTrx1, TGFβ/interleukin(IL)6 and TGFβ/IL4 combinations and the sCD30,IFNγ and IL2 combination constitute a predictive gender specific biomarker system. This is relevant for clinical screening to detect the risk of the potential development or progression of a tumor.CONCLUSION Oxidative stress on Trx1/CD30 is a trigger of cancer disease, and the selected oxidation and immune products are a biomarker system

Pancreatic cancer is an extremely aggressive disease; although progress has been made in the last few years, the prognosis of these patients remains dismal. FOLFIRINOX is now considered a standard treatment in first-line setting, since it demonstrated an improved overall and progression-free survival vs gemcitabine alone. However, the enthusiasm over the benefit of this three-drug regimen is tempered by the associated increased toxicity profile, and many efforts have been made to improve the feasibility of this schedule. After a more recent phase Ⅲ trial showing an improved outcome over gemcitabine, the combination of gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel emerged as another standard first-line treatment. However, this treatment is also associated with more side effects. In addition, despite initial promising data on the predictive role of SPARClevels, recent studies showed that these levels are not associated with nab-paclitaxel efficacy. The choice to use this treatment over FOLFIRINOX is therefore a topic of debate, also because no validated biomarkers to guide FOLFIRINOX treatment are available. In the era of actionable mutations and target agents it would be desirable to identify molecular factors or biomarkers to predict response to therapy in order to maximize the efficacy of treatment and avoid useless toxic effects for non-responding patients. However, until today the milestone of treatment for pancreatic cancer remains chemotherapy combinations, without predictive or monitoring tools existing to optimize therapy. This review analyzes the state-of-the-art treatments, promises and limitations of targeted therapies, ongoing trials and future perspectives, including potential role of microR NAs as predictive biomarkers.

Background: The fatality of adverse drug reactions (ADR) has become one of the major causes of the non-natural disease deaths globally, with the issue of drug safety emerging as a common topic of concern. Objective: The personalized ADR early warning method, based on contextual ontology and rule learning, proposed in this study aims to provide a reference method for personalized health and medical information services. Methods: First, the patient data is formalized, and the user contextual ontology is constructed, reflecting the characteristics of the patient population. The concept of ontology rule learning is then proposed, which is to mine the rules contained in the data set through machine learning to improve the efficiency and scientificity of ontology rule generation. Based on the contextual ontology of ADR, the high-level context information is identified and predicted by means of reasoning, so the occurrence of the specific adverse reaction in patients from different populations is extracted. Results: Finally, using diabetes drugs as an example, contextual information is identified and predicted through reasoning, to mine the occurrence of specific adverse reactions in different patient populations, and realize personalized medication decision-making and early warning of ADR.

PECS: Towards personalized Edge Caching for Future Service-Centric Networks

Mobile operators face the challenge of how to best design a service-centric network that can effectively process the rapidly increasing number of bandwidth-intensive user requests while providing a higher quality of experience(QoE). Existing content distribution networks(CDN) and mobile content distribution networks(mCDN) have both latency and throughput limitations due to being multiple network hops away from end-users. Here, we first propose a new personalized Edge Caching System(PECS) architecture that employs big data analytics and mobile edge caching to provide personalized service access at the edge of the mobile network. Based on the proposed system architecture, the edge caching strategy based on user behavior and trajectory is analyzed. Employing our proposed PECS strategies, we use data mining algorithms to analyze the personalized trajectory and service usage patterns. Our findings provide guidance on how key technologies of PECS can be employed for current and future networks. Finally, we highlight the challenges associated with realizing such a system in 5G and beyond.

Amygdala-Inspired Affective Computing: to Realize personalized Intracranial Emotions with Accurately Observed External Emotions

Artificial intelligence technology has revolutionized every industry and trade in recent years. However, its own development is encountering bottlenecks that it is unable to implement empathy with human emotions. So affective computing is getting more attention from researchers. In this paper, we propose an amygdala-inspired affective computing framework to realize the recognition of all kinds of human personalized emotions. Similar to the amygdala, the instantaneous emergency emotion is first computed more quickly in a low-redundancy convolutional neural network compressed by pruning and weight sharing with hashing trick. Then, the real-time process emotion is identified more accurately by the memory level neural networks, which is good at handling time-related signals. Finally, the intracranial emotion is recognized in personalized hidden Markov models. We demonstrate on Facial Expression of Emotion Dataset and the recognition accuracy of external emotions(including the emergency emotion and the process emotion) reached 85.72%. And the experimental results proved that the personalized affective model can generate desired intracranial emotions as expected.

BACKGROUND Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the urethra is a rare type of aggressive cancer with a poor prognosis.Clear cell carcinoma of the urethra represents less than 0.02%of all malignancies in women.Adenocarcinomas account for 10%of female urethral carcinomas,of which 40%are the clear cell variant.Determining the presence or absence of certain mutations through genetic testing may predict whether a patient with cancer may benefit from a particular chemotherapy regimen.CASE SUMMARY A 40-year-old woman presented with a 3-year history of slow urinary flow and a 3-mo history of urinary urgency and frequency as well as gross hematuria.An abdominal and pelvic computed tomography scan demonstrated enlarged lymph nodes in the abdomen and pelvis.A biopsy of a left inguinal lymph node microscopically confirmed a metastatic adenocarcinoma of the urethra.Specialized genetic testing determined personalized chemotherapy.She was treated successfully with a non-platinum-based chemotherapy consisting of paclitaxel and bevacizumab.Following 3 cycles of paclitaxel and bevacizumab,she attained significant clinical improvement,and response by FDG-Positron emission tomography(PET)imaging showed a definite improvement in size and metabolic activity.She achieved complete response after 6 cycles of therapy by PET scan.The patient concluded 11 cycles of paclitaxel and bevacizumab,and a subsequent PET scan confirmed progression of metastatic disease.The patient was then treated with two cycles of doxorubicin after which a PET scan revealed a mixed response to the treatment.CONCLUSION We report the first case of a patient with metastatic clear cell adenocarcinoma of the urethra who underwent personalized chemotherapy after testing for cancer gene alterations.Our unique case represents the safe and effective use of nonplatinum-based chemotherapy in clear cell adenocarcinoma of the urethra.

Colorectal cancer(CRC)in the elderly is extremely common but only a few clinicians are familiar with the complexity of issues which present in the geriatric population.In this phase of the life cycle,treatment is frequently suboptimal.Despite the fact that,nowadays,older people tend to be healthier than in previous generations,surgical undertreatment is frequently encountered.On the other hand,surgical overtreatment in the vulnerable or frail patient can lead to unacceptable postoperative outcomes with high mortality or persistent disability.Unfortunately,due to the geriatric patient being traditionally excluded from randomized controlled trials for a variety of factors(heterogeneity,frailty,etc.),there is a dearth of evidence-based clinical guidelines for the management of these patients.The objective of this review was to summarize the most relevant clinical studies available in order to assist clinicians in the management of CRC in the elderly.More than in any other patient group,both surgical and non-surgical management strategies should be carefully individualized in the elderly population affected by CRC.Although cure and sphincter preservation are the primary goals,many other variables need to be taken into account,such as maintenance of cognitive status,independence,life expectancy and quality of life.

Combining User-Driven Social Marketing with System-Driven personalized Recommendation for Student Finding

Student selection is of crucial importance for supervisors who are choosing students for postgraduate studies or research projects.Due to the challenge of asymmetric information,it is difficult for them to find suitable candidates.The existing methods do not work so well in the web 2.0 context which is inundated with vast online information.In order to overcome the deficiency,a research social network enhanced approach is proposed to provide decision support.It appeals to supervisors to adopt the proposed user-driven social marketing strategy.Meanwhile,this study mainly presents a system-driven personalized recommendation approach to support supervisors'decisions of student selection.The proposed method distinguishes supervisors based on their co-author networks to extract their potential preferences of collaboration styles.Subsequently,corresponding recommendation strategies are employed to provide personalized student recommendation services for targeted supervisors.A prototype is implemented on ScholarMate which provides online communication channels for researchers.A user study is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.The results enlighten designers to consider the differences among different users when designing recommendation strategies.
