Risk factors of polycystic ovarian syndrome among Li people

Objective: To study the relevant risk factors of polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS) of Li people so as to provide basis for early diagnosis and treatment of PCOS. Methods: With casecontrol study method, 285 cases of PCOS of Li people were as recruited case group, and 580 cases of non-PCOS of female Li people as control group. Questionnaire was adopted to collect data regarding risk factors of PCOS, then the risk factors of PCOS was searched by univariate and multivariate analysis. Results: Multivariate analysis showed that the risk factors of PCOS included in menstrual cycle disorder(OR=5.824), bad mood(OR=2.852), family history of diabetes(OR=7.008), family history of infertility(OR=11.953), menstrual irregularity of mother(OR=2.557) and lack of physical exercise(OR=1.866). Conclusions: To target the high risk factors of menstrual cycle disorder, family history of diabetes, family history of infertility, family history of diabetes, bad mood and lack of physical exercise of female population, we should implement early screen, diagnose and treatment of POCS in order to reduce the incidence rate of PCOS and improve prognosis of PCOS.

It is known that Jφrn Utzon(1918-2008),the principal architect for the Sydney Opera House project(1957-66),had a lifetime obsession for Chinese art and ***,previous studies did not explore the relationship between Utzon and his venerated Chinese writer Lin Yutang(1895-1976).How Utzon represented the ideas and ideals he received from Lin Yutang's conceptualization of Chinese art and architecture in My Country and My people(1935)has not been systematically *** this end,this article examines the role of Lin Yutang's work in Utzon's architectural career generally and the architect's Sydney Opera House design in *** argues that My Country and My people nurtured young Utzon's own architectural philosophy,as reflected in his early manifestoes and design ***,Lin Yutang's Chinese aesthetics encapsulated in calligraphy,painting and architecture helped Utzon to initiate,articulate and further communicate the design principles of his Sydney Opera House,as well as several other important architectural works before and *** Utzon never fully realized his Opera House due to forced resignation in 1966,the inspiration from Lin Yutang vividly remains in Utzon's yet to be finished masterpiece.

Purpose:As COVID-19 spreads globally and affects people's health,there are concerns that the pandemic and control policies may have psychological effects on young people(age from 17 to 35 years).This psychological impact might vary in different countries,and thus we compared the prevalence of self-reported psychological distress,loneliness and posttraumatic stress symptoms(PTSS)among young people in the United Kingdom(UK)and China at the beginning of the COVID-19 ***:Data of this study came from two *** source was the first wave of COVID-19 study in Understanding Society,a special wave of the UK household longitudinal study,which provided the high-quality,national-wide representative panel *** sample comprised 1054 young *** other source was an online survey on the mental health of 1003 young people from Shanghai,a highly developed area in *** questionnaire included questions on the prevalence of common mental disorders(cut-off score≥4),loneliness and potential PTSS(cut-off≥33).Univariable analyses were conducted to test the differences in the self-reported prevalence of psychological distress and loneliness between the two *** logistic regression analyses were run to explore the predictors of psychological distress and loneliness among all the young people from England and ***:Among the samples with self-reported psychological distress,the UK sample accounted for 34.4%(n=1054)and the Chinese sample accounted for 14.1%(n=1003).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(ppeople in the UK and 46.7%in China reported that they sometimes or often felt lonely,of which the difference is statistically significant(p<0.001).Regression analysis of the entire samples showed that nationality,gender,psychotherapy and loneliness were significant predictors of 12-item General Health Questionnaire scores,while the variables of age and living alone were ***

Objective: Relaxation technique is a nonpharmacological treatment applied to increase sleep efficiency and the quality of *** is one of the relaxation techniques and uses warm water to decrease stress and muscle stiffness, as well as to warm the body. The incidence of sleep deficiency among older people in Integrated Community Health Services, Pandak I Bantul, has slightly increased year by year. This research aims to evaluate the effect of hydrotherapy on sleep deprivation among older ***: The research was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-post test design. Purposive sampling was used to enroll 66 older people from the Integrated Community Health Services, Pandak I Bantul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, as a sample, and we divided them into two groups: 33 people formed the intervention group, and 33 people comprised the control group. The intervention group did hydrotherapy once a day for a total of 7 days. First, they soaked their feet in warm water for 10 minutes. The water temperature was adjusted according to the body temperature, to approximately 40.0℃-43.0℃. Then, the intervention group took a bath using warm water. The level of sleep quality was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) questionnaire. Data analysis was done using the Wilcoxon ***: The mean score for sleep quality in the pretest in the intervention group was 9.04(standard deviation [SD]: 2.57) and the score on the posttest was 42(SD: 1.43). Investigation of attitudes towards organ transplantation in young people in China

Objective To investigate the attitudes toward organ transplantation, organ donation and recipients in young people in Beijng, Shanghai,and Wuhan. Methods A questionnaire was designed for 3012 young people aged 20 45 years (999 in Beijing, 990 in Shanghai, and 1023 in Wuhan). The data of questionnaire were processed with SPSS software. Results Over 90% of the respondents knew that human organs can be transplanted; over 85% considered that organ transplantation is a welfare undertaking; more than 85% thought that when someone's organ is in critical condition, it is necessary to perform organ transplantaion; over 70% expressed willingness to receive organ transplantation if it is needed or possible. In the mode of organ donation, 70% emphasized that organ donation should be dependent on volunteers and the donor should be rewarded in a certain form. Organ recipients in sequence are relatives, specialized medical institutions, friends, members of volunteer organizations, and others. The factors affecting the attitudes towards organ transplantation are analyzed. Conclusion There is a better attitude toward organ transplantation among young people in cities. The conventional attitudes and feudal habits are one of the major obstacles to the course of organ donation in China.
