Network virtualization is an enabling technology of running multiple virtual networks on a shared substrate network. It aims to deal with the ossification of current network architecture. As a crucial component of network virtualization, virtual network embedding(VNE) can efficiently and effectively allocates the substrate resource to proposed virtual network requests. According to the optimization strategy, VNE approaches can be classified into three categories: exact, heuristic and meta-heuristic solution. The VNE exact solution is the foundation of its corresponding heuristic and meta-heuristic solutions. This paper presents a survey of existing typical VNE exact solutions, and open problems for the future research of VNE exact solutions are proposed.

This paper discusses the parallel computing of the third generation Ocean General Circulation Model (OGCM) from the State Key Laboratory of Numerical Modeling for Atmospheric Science and Geophysical Fluid Dynamics(LASG),Institute of Atmosphere Physics(IAP). Meanwhile, several optimization strategies for parallel computing of OGCM (POGCM) on Scalable Shared Memory Multiprocessor (S2MP) are presented. Using Message Passing Interface (MPI), we obtain super linear speedup on SGI Origin 2000 for parallel OGCM(POGCM) after optimization.

Structural Fault Tolerance of Scale-Free Networks

The fault tolerance of scale-free networks is examined in this paper. Through the simulation on the changes of the average path length and network fragmentation of the Barabasi-Albert model when faults happen, it can be observed that generic scale-free networks are quite robust to random failures, but are very vulnerable to targeted attacks at the same time. Therefore, an existing optimization strategy for the robustness of scale-free networks to failures and attacks is also introduced. The simulation similar with the above proved that the so-called (1,0) network has potentially interconnectedness closer to that of a scale-free network and robustness to targeted attacks closer to that of an exponential network. Furthermore, its resistance to random failures is better than that of either of them.

The simulation of intercity population mobility helps to deepen the understanding of intercity population mobility and its underlying laws,which has great importance for epidemic prevention and control,social management,and even urban *** are many factors that affect intercity population mobility,such as socioeconomic attributes,geographical distance,and industrial *** complexity of the coupling among these factors makes it difficult to simulate intercity population *** address this issue,we propose a novel method named the quantum harmonic oscillator model for simulation of intercity population mobility(QHO-IPM).QHO-IPM describes the intercity population mobility as being affected by coupled driving factors that work as a multioscillator-coupled quantum harmonic oscillator system,which is further transformed by the oscillation process of an oscillator,namely,the breaking point of intercity population *** intercity population mobility among seven cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and its surrounding region is taken as an example for verifying the *** experimental results show that(1)compared with the reference methods(the autoregressive integrated moving average(ARIMA)and long and short-term memory(LSTM)models),the QHO-IPM achieves better simulation performance regarding intercity population mobility in terms of both overall trend and mutation.(2)The simulation error in the QHO-IPM for different-level intercity population mobility is small and stable,which illustrates the weak sensitivity of the QHO-IPM to intercity population mobility under different structures.(3)The discussion regarding the influence degree of different driving factors reveals the significant“one dominant and multiple auxiliary”factor pattern of driving factors on intercity population mobility in the study *** proposed method has the potential to provide valuable support for understanding intercity population mobility laws and related de

4 elderly care service stations in Zhanlan Road Street,Xicheng District,Beijing are selected,and questionnaires are designed and distributed to the surrounding elderly population to understand their needs and satisfaction with the station *** observing elderly care service stations on site,the characteristics,obstacles,and shortcomings of the environment are recorded,and relevant data are collected and analyzed,such as the characteristics of the elderly population being interviewed,the planning and design data of the station environment,and the distribution of service *** overall characteristics of the spatial environment of elderly care stations are summarized,and renovation measures and optimization suggestions are provided for the current shortcomings,thereby providing some basis for the spatial design of community elderly care service stations in the future.
