In-situ-selective-UV crosslinking fabrication of solid liquid host guest electrolyte: A facile one-step method realizing highly flexible electrochromic device

Flexible electrochromic devices (FECDs) are promising candidates for the next generation of wearable electronics due to their low operating voltage and energy consumption. For the flexible electrochromic devices, the electrolyte is an important component. Typically, the electrolyte needs to be formulated according to the device structure and usage scenario. A high-performance electrolyte involves consideration of many factors, including choosing the right polymer, solvent, curing agent, and ion type to satisfy particular device specifications. In this work, a ultraviolet-curable solid–liquid host–guest (UV-SLHG) electrolyte is developed. Several aspects of performance are improved by introducing the solid–liquid coexisting microstructure without changing the electrolyte formulation, including excellent adhesion, a 30% increase in tensile characteristics, and a seven-fold increase in ionic conductivity when compared to a fully cured solid-state electrolyte. More importantly, the unique advantage of SLHG electrolytes lies that the thickness will not change significantly during bending. The FECD made by using the UV-SLHG-based electrolyte sustained 10,000 bending cycles at the bending radius of 2.5 mm while maintaining outstanding optical modulation. A wearable ring-type ECD and a battery-free FECD wine label were made as demonstrators. The UV-SLHG strategy is not only suitable for the FECDs but also universally applicable to other electrolyte-based of flexible electronics such as flexible capacitors and batteries.

Surface plasmon resonance(SPR) nanosensors based on metallic nanohole arrays have been widely reported to detect binding interactions in biological specimens. A simple and effective method for constructing nanoscale arrays is essential for the development of SPR nanosensors. In this work, we report a one-step method to fabricate nanohole arrays by thermal nanoimprinting in the matrix of IPS(Intermediate Polymer Stamp). No additional etching process or supporting substrate is required. The preparation process is simple, time-saving and compatible for roll-to-roll process, potentially allowing mass production. Moreover, the nanohole arrays were integrated into detection platform as SPR sensors to investigate different types of biological binding interactions. The results demonstrate that our one-step method can be used to efficiently fabricate large-area and uniform nanohole arrays for biochemical sensing.

Synthesis of Codon-optimized Human Interleukin-18 Gene by Combination of Chemical and Enzymatic method

According to the amino acid sequence and codon preference of E. coli, the human interleukin-18（IL-18） gene was optimized to avoid the rare codons. The total length of the synthesized gene is 571 bp; 18 oligonucleotides, DNA fragments were designed and synthesized by the phosphoramidite four-step chemical method. The whole DNA sequence was synthesized by a one-step total gene synthesis method, and then inserted in pUC18 vector. Five positive clones identified by blue-white colony screening were sent to Shanghai Sangon Biological Engineering Technology and Service Co., Ltd. for sequencing. The sequencing result shows that one clone contained the complete correct gene in all the five positive clones.

The bond evolution mechanism of covalent sulfurized carbon during electrochemical sodium storage process

The excellent energy storage performance of covalent sulfur-carbon material has gradually attracted great interest. However, in the electrochemical sodium storage process, the bond evolution mechanism remains an elusive topic. Herein, we develop a one-step annealing strategy to achieve a high covalent sulfur-carbon bridged hybrid(HCSC)utilizing phenylphosphinic acid as the carbon-source/catalyst and sodium sulfate as the sulfur-precursor/salt template, in which the sulfur mainly exists in the forms of C–S–C and C–S–S–C. Notably, most of the bridge bonds are electrochemically cleaved when the cycling voltage is lower than0.6 V versus Na/Na+, leading to the appearance of two visible redox peaks in the following cyclic voltammogram(CV) *** in-situ and ex-situ characterizations demonstrate that S^2- is formed in the reduction process and the carbon skeleton is concomitantly and irreversibly isomerized. Thus, the cleaved sulfur and isomerized carbon could jointly contribute to the sodium storage in 0.01–3.0 V. In a Na-S battery system, the activated HCSC in cut off voltage window of 0.6–2.8 V achieves a high reversible capacity(770 mA h g^-1 at 300 mA g^-1). This insight reveals the charge storage mechanism of sulfur-carbon bridged hybrid and provides an improved enlightenment on the interfacial chemistry of electrode materials.

A one-step and scalable method for the synthesis of graphite oxide(GO)-FeO is reported.A GO-FeO catalyst is fabricated during the preparation of GO using the Hummers method by adding Fe(NO) in the low temperature *** GO-FeO composite was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The photocatalytic activities of the GO-FeO catalyst were evaluated by the photocatalytic degradation of acid red G dye in aqueous solution under UV-light irradiation(<400 nm) in the presence of *** was found that the degradation the acid red G dye was over 95.3%in 80 *** GO-FeO catalyst exhibited much higher UV light photocatalytic activity than the pure *** present study provides a new strategy to design composite materials with enhanced photocatalytic performance.

＜正＞聚乳酸（PLA）是一种可再生的生物降解高分子材料。一步法合成聚乳酸成本低,但分子量较低。本文利用一步法制备聚乳酸分子量低的特点,通过端基改性实现聚乳酸的光活性,固化交联提高聚乳酸性能[1,2]。采用季戊四醇和丙烯酸依次对直接熔融缩聚法制备的低分子量聚乳酸进行端羟基和端双键改性,制备了端羟基聚乳酸（OHPLA）、双键端基光活性聚乳酸（DPLA）。通过紫外光固化成膜（FPLA）,在涂料、油墨等领域有较大的应用潜力。
