CREATING BALANCED AND CONNECTED CLUSTERS TO IMPROVE SERVICE DELIVERY ROUTES IN logistics PLANNING

A challenging problem in real world logistics applications consists in planning service territories for customer deliveries, in contexts where customers must be clustered into groups that satisfy various conditions such as balance and connectivity. In this paper we propose new algorithms for producing such clusters based upon special procedures for exploiting Thiessen polygons. Our methods are able to handle multiple criteria for balancing the clusters, such as the number of customers in each cluster, the service revenue in each cluster, or the delivery/pickup quantity in each cluster. Computational results demonstrate the efficacy of our new procedures, which are able to assist users to plan service personal service territories and vehicle routes more efficiently.

The slab yard in a hot strip rolling mill is a key link and a buffer in the production system, which joins continuous rolling process and continuous casting process. There are a large quantity of operations of input and output in the slab yard. Throughout systematic analysis and research on the slab yard, the mathematical models of logistics decision for input, output and restorage operation are built. On the basis of these decision models, the management system for the slab yard is developed. Simulation application to Human Iron & Steel Complex of China shows that they are very effective.

The diversity of data sources resulted in seeking effective manipulation and *** challenge that arises from the increasing dimensionality has a negative effect on the computation performance,efficiency,and stability of *** of the most successful optimization algorithms is Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)which has proved its effectiveness in exploring the highest influencing features in the search space based on its fast convergence and the ability to utilize a small set of parameters in the search *** research proposes an effective enhancement of PSO that tackles the challenge of randomness search which directly enhances PSO *** the other hand,this research proposes a generic intelligent framework for early prediction of orders delay and eliminate orders backlogs which could be considered as an efficient potential solution for raising the supply chain *** proposed adapted algorithm has been applied to a supply chain dataset which minimized the features set from twenty-one features to ten significant *** confirm the proposed algorithm results,the updated data has been examined by eight of the well-known classification algorithms which reached a minimum accuracy percentage equal to 94.3%for random forest and a maximum of 99.0 for Naïve ***,the proposed algorithm adaptation has been compared with other proposed adaptations of PSO from the literature over different *** proposed PSO adaptation reached a higher accuracy compared with the literature ranging from 97.8 to 99.36 which also proved the advancement of the current research.

We consider variations of the classical jeep problems： the optimal logistics for a caravan of jeeps which travel together in the desert. The main purpose is to arrange the travels for the one-way trip and the round trip of a caravan of jeeps so that the chief jeep visits the farthest destination. Based on the dynamic program principle, the maximum distances for the caravan when only part of the jeeps should return and when all drivers should return are obtained. Some related results such as the efficiency of the abandoned jeeps, and the advantages of more jeeps in the caravan are also presented.

Traffic flow prediction becomes an essential process for intelligent transportation systems(ITS).Though traffic sensor devices are manually controllable,traffic flow data with distinct length,uneven sampling,and missing data finds challenging for effective *** traffic data has been considerably increased in recent times which cannot be handled by traditional mathematical *** recent developments of statistic and deep learning(DL)models pave a way for the effectual design of traffic flow prediction(TFP)*** this view,this study designs optimal attentionbased deep learning with statistical analysis for TFP(OADLSA-TFP)*** presentedOADLSA-TFP model intends to effectually forecast the level of traffic in the *** attain this,the OADLSA-TFP model employs attention-based bidirectional long short-term memory(ABLSTM)model for predicting traffic *** order to enhance the performance of the ABLSTM model,the hyperparameter optimization process is performed using artificial fish swarm algorithm(AFSA).A wide-ranging experimental analysis is carried out on benchmark dataset and the obtained values reported the enhancements of the OADLSA-TFP model over the recent approaches mean square error(MSE),root mean square error(RMSE),and mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)of 120.342%,10.970%,and 8.146%respectively.

Unbalanced multi-stage logistics systems are optimized using an improved genetic algorithm based on the Prüfer number and the effective capacity coding. The improved decoding procedure uses the node capacity of the logistics system as an important factor, which influences the decoding procedure. As a result, any Prüfer number produced stochastically can be decoded to a feasible logistics pattern, which matchs the node capacities of the logistics system. With effective capacity coding, an unbalanced logistics system can be converted to a set of balanced systems. The effective capacity coding was combined with the Prefer number to construct the chromosome for the new method to search the whole solution space of the unbalanced multi-stage logistics system. Simulation results show that the new method finds a better solution with less computational time than st-GA. Although using a little more memory, the new method is still an efficient and robust method for optimizing unbalanced multi-stage logistics systems.

This paper presents a novel evaluation model of the customer satisfaction degree （CSD） in logistics based on support vector machine （SVM）. Firstly, the relation between the suppliers and the customers is analyzed. Seondly, the evaluation index system and fuzzy quantitative methods are provided. Thirdly, the CSD evaluation system including eight indexes and three ranks based on one-against-one mode of SVM is built, last simulation experint is presented to illustrate the theoretical results.

Logistic industry of agricultural products is an important constituent part of the logistic industry. The capacity of value creation of the logistic industry of agricultural products may reflect the level of its development and the benefit. The market competition of the agricultural product logistics is fierce and the requirement for logistic quality is increasing quickly. The organization of the agricultural product logistics relying solely on individual power can no longer satisfy the logistic demands of the production and operation of agricultural products. To expand the resources has become the focus of attention in the operation and development of the logistic industry of agricultural products. On the basis of a connotation analysis of the current situation of the farm product logistic industry and its value creating capacity, this paper tries to seize the key point to improve the value creating capacity of the farm product logistic industry from the perspective of resource expansion and illustrate the resource expansion system for value creating capacity of the farm product logistic industry. Through analyzing the path choice to improve the value creating capacity, it is possible to help the farm product logistics industry to break through the bottom neck restraining the individual resources, search for the integration and development of the resources, provide quality and effective farm product logistic services, and improve continuously the value creating capacity of the agricultural product logistic industry.
