IBA(Internet of things,Big data,Artificial intelligence,IBA)融合架构下,基于应用场景的limbic system系统将平台层设备管理的部分功能解耦至边缘侧,在边缘侧对异构设备实现协议发现、解析、转换、适配、管理全过程的自动化和智能化。通过对各类异构数据的统一治理和管理,实现在不同应用系统之间的智能扩展、即插即用及服务共享,并根据需要对数据进行认证加密、存储分发、分析控制、多模融合与边缘计算、策略管理与指令映射以及服务发布与链接管理,最终在减少时延、降低投资、提高链接可靠性的同时,实现多系统边缘侧智能控制自治、多节点智能控制协同以及端边云协同下的联控联动。

Cross-modal semantic mapping and cross-media retrieval are key problems of the multimedia search *** study analyzes the hierarchy,the functionality,and the structure in the visual and auditory sensations of cognitive system,and establishes a brain-like cross-modal semantic mapping framework based on cognitive computing of visual and auditory *** mechanism of visual-auditory multisensory integration,selective attention in thalamo-cortical,emotional control in limbic system and the memory-enhancing in hippocampal were considered in the ***,the algorithms of cross-modal semantic mapping were *** results show that the framework can be effectively applied to the cross-modal semantic mapping,and also provides an important significance for brain-like computing of non-von Neumann structure.

Effects of three needling manipulations of the right-side Zusanli(ST 36) on brain using functional magnetic resonance imaging

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects on the brain using three needling manipulations(twirling, lifting-thrusting, and twirling plus lifting-thrusting)when the right-side Zusanli(ST 36) acupoint was stimulated with ***: Seventeen healthy subjects accepted three needling manipulations stimulating the right Zusanli(ST 36) over separate days. Functional magnetic resonance imaging was used to detect changes in the brain during the manipulations, and then the needling sensations were recorded using the MGH acupuncture sensation scale(MASS) after each scan. f MRI data were processed using Statistical Parametric Mapping 8 to analyze the positiveand negative activation in the brain induced by different acupuncture ***: The individual needling sensations showed no statistically significant differences among the three manipulations. However, the MASS index showed that lifting-thrusting > twirling plus lifting-thrusting > twirling. Lifting-thrusting activated left premotor cortex, left postcentral,right middle frontal gyrus, left inferior frontal gyrus,right lingual gyrus, left insula, right putamen, bilateral cingulate gyrus and right cerebellum; and deactivated bilateral hippocampus and left *** activated bilateral orbital middle frontal gyrus, left opercular and triangular inferior frontal gyrus, and right middle occipital gyrus; and deactivated bilateral precuneus, right amygdala, left anterior cingulate gyrus, right inferior temporal gyrus,right middle frontal gyrus, right supplementary motor gyrus, and left postcentral. Twirling plus lifting-thrusting activated bilateral postcentral, left inferior occipital gyrus, left insula, left thalamus, left cingulate gyrus, and right putamen; and deactivated right superior frontal gyrus, right superior parietal gyrus, right temporal gyrus, right middle occipital gyrus, right insula, and left lingual gyrus. Spontaneous pain occurring without apparent external stimuli,is a significant complaint of individuals with chronic pain whose mechanisms,somewhat surprisingly,remain poorly *** the past decades,neuroimaging studies start to reveal brain activities accompanying spontaneous ***,a variety of animal models and behavioral tests have been established,including non-reflexive tests and free-choice tests,which have been shown to be effective in assessing spontaneous *** the spontaneous pain mechanisms,multiple lines of research mainly focus on three aspects:(1)sensitization of peripheral nociceptor receptors and ion channels,(2)spontaneous neuronal firing and abnormal activity patterns at the dorsal root ganglion and spinal cord level,(3)functional and structural alterations in the brain,particularly the limbic system and the medial pain *** accumulating evidence revealing distinct neuronal mechanisms from evoked pain,we are still far from full understanding of spontaneous pain,leaving a big gap between bench and bedside for chronic pain treatment.A better understanding of the neural processes in chronic pain,with specific linkage as to which anatomical structures and molecules related to spontaneous pain perception and comorbidities,will greatly improve our ability to develop novel therapeutics.

Changes of brain gray matter structure in Parkinson's disease patients with dementia

Voxel-based morphometry is gaining considerable interest for studies examining Parkinson＇s disease dementia patients. In this study, 12 patients with clinically defined Parkinson＇s disease and dementia and 12 non-demented patients with Parkinson＇s disease were examined using a T1WI three-dimensional fast spoiled gradient echo sequence. Gray matter data were analyzed using a voxel-based morphometry method and independent sample t-test based on Statistical Parametric Mapping 5 software. Differences in gray matter volume were represented with statistical parametric mapping. Compared with Parkinson＇s disease patients without dementia, decreased gray matter volume in Parkinson＇s disease dementia patients was observed in the bilateral superior temporal gyrus, bilateral posterior cingulate and left cingulate gyrus, right parahippocampal gyrus and hippocampus, right precuneus and right cuneus, left inferior frontal gyrus and left insular lobe. No increased gray matter volume was apparent. These data indicate that gray matter atrophy in the limbic system and cerebral neocortex is related to the presence of dementia.

limbic encephalitis represents a cluster of autoimmune disorders, with inflammation in the medial temporal lobe characterised by the subacute onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms such as anxiety, affective symptoms, psychosis, short-term memory impairment, as well as faciobrachial and grand mal seizures. The limbic system is a complex anatomical structure which this paper seeks to explain in terms of its anatomy and physiology, before exploring what happens when it is impaired as is the case of autoimmune and limbic encephalitis. We will discuss the pathophysiology, clinical symptomatology and diagnosis of autoimmune encephalitis, a cluster of symptoms which can be easily overlooked or misdiagnosed within psychiatric settings. Characteristic indicators of autoimmune encephalitis include neurologic symptoms such as facial twitching, seizures, confusion, and cognitive decline;however, our experience realises that autoimmune encephalitis is not easy to identify as most patients initially present with psychiatric symptomatology rather than these neurological symptoms. Furthermore, immunological and laboratory testing take a long time to diagnose the condition. Importantly, few psychiatrists consider the autoimmune nature of the neuropsychiatric presentation. It is hence vital to consider autoimmune encephalitis in all patients with atypical presentations.
