A corpus-based approach to understanding market access in fisheries and aquaculture international business research:A systematic literature review

Although fisheries and aquaculture studies might seem marginal to international business(IB)studies in general,fisheries and aquaculture IB(FAIB)management is currently facing increasing pressure to meet global demand and consumption for fish in the next coming *** part address to this challenge,the purpose of this systematic review of literature(SLR)study is to investigate the use of the term‘market access’in its context of use in the generic literature and business sector discourse,in comparison to the more specific literature and discourse in fisheries,aquaculture and *** SLR aims to uncover the knowledge/interest gaps between the academic subject discourses and business sector *** driven in methodology and using a triangulation method of three different text analysis softwares including AntConc,VOSviewer and Web of Science(WoS)analytics,the SLR results indicate a gap in conceptual knowledge and business practices in how market access is conceived,studied and managed in the pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing industry in comparison to fisheries and ***'s complexity is directly acknowledged in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Zero *** while the product orientation of different business sectors might differ,this SLR study works with the assumption that both business sectors are international in orientation,and complex in their operations from product to *** that extent,research scholars and practitioners in FAIB will need to broaden their efforts in understanding the multiplicity of forces that influences fisheries and aquaculture and its international orientation towards both emerging as well as mature *** SLR suggests a conceptual model in understanding the challenges,the potential barriers as well as avenues for solutions to developing market access for FAIB.

Due to the development of economic globalization, business communication between people of different cultural backgrounds is becoming more and more frequent. Economic globalization leads to the increasing of international business exchange activities. In twenty-first Century, international cooperation has become increasingly frequent and widespread. How to improve cross-cultural communication ability, enhance cross-cultural understanding, overcome cultural conflicts, strengthen cultural communication and cooperation, enhance international business competitiveness, and thus create the greatest economic benefits, is particularly important for our country.

A Research on Time-consciousness in the international business Culture

With the globalization of world economy, international business culture has been increasingly significant. international commercial communication becomes unprecedentedly frequent. While most businessmen find that studying business culture is complicated and time consuming, knowing the basic guidelines will help them a lot. All interpersonal relationships are guided by widely accepted rules of what is and is not appropriate behavior. And it boils down to kindness, courtesy and respect. Different backgrounds and different cultures have given people different ideas and communicative methods, and the understanding of their time concepts is a very important aspect. Different concepts of time are reflected in intercultural communication, which inevitably leads to communication barriers and even conflicts. This is such an important factor in business communication that we have to obey. As a saying goes:one who knows more about the value of time will feel the pain of the blind, but in today’s international business world, doing as what "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" is not enough. Different countries have their own customs. According to the principle of time-keeping, people’s behaviors in business communication are vastly different. Therefore, a research on time-consciousness in the international business culture is especially necessary.

In light of the increasing efforts made by emerging market firms to engage in international business through importing activities,identifying the characteristics that motivate importing busi ness and con tribute to its success is practically and theoretically *** upon a knowledge-based view(KBV),we examine how the shareholder internationality affects a firm's importing *** hypothesize that the shareholder internationality can facilitate a firm's import initiati on and con tribute to the diversity of importing countries of ***,the divergence of shareholders'nationality backgrounds may hinder import initiation,but motivate importing from dispersed countries of origin during the import development process.A longitudinal analysis of Colombian firms supports our hypotheses.

Entrepreneurs must deal with global issues side by side with domestic considerations. The importance of product positioning and global branding for sustaining competitive advantage within the companies＇ global marketing strategy

In today＇s globally competitive world, because of the globalization, new business patterns and the changing nature of consumers, the companies feel the necessity to act strategic in the market and to reach up the target markets and sustain maximum customer satisfaction in order to compete and survive. In this context, within the study it is tried to define product positioning in international markets and global branding strategies conceptually and to focus on their contributions to the overall competitive advantage of the company. Initially, the study tries to present the association between product positioning and global branding approaches of the companies and sustaining competitive advantage. Justifications for the examination of the importance of companies＇ international product positioning and global branding orientations as a basis of creating competitive advantage were derived from the literature. It is suggested that the companies＇ product positioning and global branding orientations and sustaining competitive advantage are the important aspects in multinational management and international business areas. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of product positioning and global branding strategies of the companies with special references to various industries and global brands.

A Study of Negotiating Strategies in South Korea

Under the globalization of rapid industrialization, economic growth and expansion to the global market, South Korea is attracting more and more international businesses who wish to do business with South Korean companies. It is suggested that a negotiator of an international company should understand the cultural background and the negotiating strategies first. This study aims to investigate the twelve negotiating variables of negotiating with South Korean companies. It is hoped that European, Asian, and American companies who wish to do business with South Korea can benefit from the results of research. This study results will be provided as reference of enterprises, schools and students.

The Influence of Financial Markets on Countries＇ Economic Life

This working paper aims to investigate one of the most present markets in whole economic life： financial market. Even if not everyone is playing on financial market, the result of trading on this markets can be seen and felt by any participant on economic life--individuals, businesses, and government. Those which are participating and trading on financial markets influence economic and social life in a way or another. The paper comes to showing how existence and trading on financial markets can change the money supply and behavior of individuals, businesses, and later they can affect entire economic and social life. The author uses financial data provided by international database such as： Eurostat, central banks, international Monetary Fund, World Bank, BMI Research, website of domestic ministries of finance, and/or economy. The research concluded that in those countries where there is an active and experienced financial market, with a huge volume of transactions, also exists a financial and fiscal stability. Unemployment rate is lower, and a higher level of confidence of investors. A very active financial market can also help governments to maintain their balance of payment in equilibrium and/or to accelerate the development of productive capacity, and for raising and maintaining social stability level.
