Design, Synthesis and fungicidal Activity of Novel Strobilurin-l,2,4-Triazole Derivatives Containing Furan or Thiophene Rings

A series of strobilurin-l,2,4-triazole derivatives containing a furan or thiophen ring was designed andsynthesized. The structures of the compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS spectra. Thebioassays indicated that the fungicidal activities of compounds 10b（EC50=14.82 mg/L） and 10c（EC50=18.72 mg/L）against Cercospora arachidicola Hori in vitro were much higher than that of Azoxystrobin as control（EC50=40.54mg/L） and the fungicidal activities of compounds 10u（EC50=8.66 rag/L） and 10n（EC50=9.89 rag/L） against Rhizotoniacerealis in vitro were higher than that of the same control（EC50=10.86 rag/L）. Compounds 10b, 10c, 1011 and 10kcould be considered as the leading compounds for further investigation.

The title compound 3-（difluoromethyl）-1-methyl-N-（（2-（trifluoromethyl）phenyl）-carbamoyl）-1 H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide(C14 H11 F5 N4 O2) was synthesized, and its structure was confirmed by 1 H NMR, H RMS and X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 6.994（3）, b = 13.860（6）, c = 15.308（7） ?, β = 97.632（6）°, V = 1470.8（11） ?3,Z = 4, the final R = 0.0692 and wR = 0.2108 for 3989 observed reflections with Ⅰ > 2σ（Ⅰ）. The preliminary biological test shows that the title compound has moderate fungicidal activities against Pseudomonas syringae.

The target compound, ethyl 2-（3-（4-fluorobenzamido）phenyl）-4-（（4-fluorobenzoyl）oxy） thiazole-5-carboxylate, was synthesized by four-step procedures including N-protection, thionation, cyclization and acylation. Its structure was characterized by 1 H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The target compound crystallizes as monoclinic crystal system, space group C2/c with a = 9.6097（19）, b = 14.246（3）, c = 33.070（7） ?, V = 4515.1（16） ?3, Z = 8, Dc = 1.496 Mg/m3, F（000） = 2096 and μ = 0.203 mm-1. There are 21864 reflections measured（4.94≤2θ≤55.96°）, of which 5357 were unique（Rint = 0.1418） and used in all calculations. The final R = 0.0581（I > 2σ（I）） and wR = 0.1453（reflections）. The target compound showed over 50% of growth inhibition against Physalospora piricola, Rhizoctonia cerealis and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.

Monosulphides of O-phenyl-N-substituted phenylcar- bamates were prepared by the reaction between O- phenyl-N-substituted phenylcarbamates and sulph- ur dichloride while the corresponding disulphides were prepared by the reaction between O-phenyl-N- substituted phenylcarbamates and sulphur monoch- loride. The synthesized compounds were characte-rized by elemental analysis, thin layer chromatogra-phy (TLC), Fourier-transform infrared, 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic techniques. In vitro fungicidal assay of these sulphides against Fusarium oxysporum, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus and Rhizopus stolonifer showed that they were more fungicidal than their parent carbamates. The synthesized sulphides were more active towards As-pergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus. There was little or no variations in the fungicidal activities of the synthesized monosulphides and disulphides of O-phen- yl-N-substituted phenyl carbamates.

Silver nanoparticles in the form of silver based chemicals trace back their origin to time immemorial since the dilute forms of silver nitrate were used in place of antibiotics before they dominated the field of medicine. But, it has now become necessary to explore the anti-microbial properties of silver based chemicals again due to the microbes gaining resistance against the wide range of present day antibiotics. The advancements in the field of medicine and technology started to coalesce to combat the adaptability of microbes as they successfully become tolerant to antibiotics and it manifested in the form a current technology, Nanomedicine. Nanomedicine deals about the medicines at a nano scale to rarefy the intensity of medicine to unaffected tissues and reduce the volume of medicine used. In the present context, our attempt is to develop potential anti-microbial particles in the form of silver nanoparticles by using the biological phenomena which we call Green synthesis an eco-friendly approach to conventional chemical synthesis. The enzymatic machinery of the olive seeds has been exploited to produce silver nanoparticles and test their efficacy as antifungal agents before we characterized their physical properties using UV-Vis, TEM, and FTIR analysis. The efficacy of these particles as antagonists on fungal pathogen Aspergillus niger a causative agent of Aspergillosis in human beings and is promising and they have a lot of scope for the purpose and hope the technology leads the next generation of anti-microbials.

A series of novel 5-aryl-1-(aryloxyacetyl)-3-(tert-butyl or phenyl)-4-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-4,5-dihydropyrazole 3a-3n were synthesized by the annulation of 2-aryloxyacetohydrazides with 3-aryl-1-t-butyl(or phenyl)-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)prop-2-en-1-ones(1)in the presence of a catalytic amount of acetic *** 2 were obtained by the Knoevenagel reactions of 1-t-butyl(or phenyl)-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)ethanone(2)with aromatic aldehydes in the presence of *** structures were confirmed by IR,1H-NMR,ESIMS,and elemental *** preliminary bioassay indicated that some compounds displayed moderate to excellent fungicidal *** example,compounds 31,3m,and 3n possessed100%inhibition against Cercospora arachidicola Hori at the concentration of 50 mg/L.

Objective:To assess antifungal activity of Ocimum sanctum leaves against dermatophytic fungi. Methods:Antifungal activity of Ocimum sanctum leaves was measured by 38 A NCCLS method. Minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) and minimum fungicidal concentration(MFC) of various extracts and fractions of Ocimum sanctum leaves were also ***:Ocimum sanctum leaves possessed antifungal activity against clinically isolated dermatophytes at the concentration of 200μg/*** and MFC were high with water fraction(200μg/mL) against dermatophytic fungi ***:Ocimum sanctum has antifungal activity,and the leaf extracts may be a useful source for dermatophytic infections.

Objective:To evaluate the berries of Phytolacca dodecundra(***) for its effect on Histoplasma cupsulatum ***(HCF) and for the treatment of cases of epizootic lymphangitis(***:Samples were collected from un-ruptured nodules of cases of EL at Debre Zeit and Akaki(central Ethiopia).Mycologieal culture and isolation of HCF were performed at the Akliln Lemma Institute of *** screening was done for n-butanol extract of *** to delect alkaloids,saponins,phenolic compounds and *** minimum inhibitory concentrations(MICs) and minimum fungicidal concentrations(MFCs) ol aqueous and n-butanol extracts of *** against FICF were determined by agar dilution *** the in vivo trial.5%simple ointment was prepared from n-butanol extract and applied topically to 24(twelve early and twelve moderate) cases of ***:Phytochemical screening showed that n-butanol extract ol *** was positive lor *** and phenolic compounds but negative for *** MFCs of n-butanol and aqueous extracts of *** were(0.039%-0.078%) and(0.625%-1.250%),*** MFCs of n-butanol and aqueous extracts of *** were(0.078%t-0.156%)and(1.250%-2.500%),*** MIC and MFC of ketoconazole(positive control) was(1.200×10^(-5)%-2.500×10^(-5)%) and(5.000× 10^(-5)%-1.000×10^(-4)%),respectively while growth was observed on free medium(negative control).From the total of 24 treated cases of EL,14(58.3%) responded lo treatment;however,10(41.7%) did not respond to *** was no significant difference in the degree of response to treatment between early and moderate cases(χ~2=0.086:P=***:It can be concluded that n-butanol extract of *** demonstrates antifungal effects while the aqueous extract shows no antifungal activity.
