Complex cyclic hydrocarbons are important compounds in academia and *** of 1,n-enynes is one of the most rapid and convenient ways to build diverse complex cyclic *** strategies for the 1,n-enyne cyclization reported to date only involve a) direct cyclization with additional reagents（often nucleophiles）,b) cycloisomerization and c) skeletal rearrangement,the majority of which suffer from the requirement of noble transition-metal catalysts（***,Rh,Ru,Pt and Au complexes）.Since 2011,our group has developed a new C-H oxidative radical coupling/cyclization of 1,n-enynes（Scheme 1）,which provides a general access to important cyclic ring scaffolds with broad substrate scope and excellent functional group tolerance.

Nitrenes,as neutral monovalent nitrogen-centered molecular species,can insert into various bond or remove nitrogen atoms from *** assisted single-atom skeletal editing,discovered decades ago,provides an efficient approach for the precise alteration of cyclic *** this review,we briefly summarize early studies on skeletal editing of cyclic frameworks involving nitrene species,and introduce several recent important advances systematically.
