In order to study the meat development value of princess chicken,the body size traits and slaughter performance of 12-week-old F1 hybrid offspring of princess chicken(♂) and kirin chicken(♀) were measured and the correlations between different traits were analyzed. The results showed that body length,keel length and shank length of male F1 hybrid offspring were significantly higher than those of female chickens(P correlations between the slaughter performance and body size in F1 hybrid offspring. The regression equations between different indicators were identified and developed. The results provided a certain theoretical reference to predict slaughter performance indicators through a living body size measurement,and revealed an improved production performance of F1 hybrid offspring.

The research about the content of soil element in Ngad is still in its infancy, and there lacks systemic research and discussion. The 90 topsoil samples were selected from the 7 counties in Ngari area, and 13 elements were investigated systematically. The correlation analysis method and factor analysis method were used to study the interrelationship and accumulating, migrating and transforming rules of the selected 13 elements. The results showed that there was significant correlation among most of the transition elements in the topsoil. The main factors, which influenced the element content, were nature factors. Human activities also had certain effect on the element content of surface soil, but the strength was weak.

[Objectives]The paper was to investigate the correlation between the microscopic characteristic constants and the index component polysaccharide content of Dendrobium officinale from Guangxi.[Methods]The paraffin sections of *** were made,and the microscopic characteristic constants of *** stem,including cross section area,vascular bundle area and phloem area,were determined by NIS-Elements D microscopic image processing *** contents of polysaccharides in *** were determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometry,and the quantitative values of microscopic characteristics of *** with different growth years were analyzed by SPSS 23.0(IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0)data statistical *** correlation between quantitative microscopic characteristics of *** and its polysaccharide content was analyzed.[Results]According to the correlation between the index component of *** and its quantitative microscopic characteristics,the measurement indexes,the percentage of vascular bundle in the cross section area and the percentage of hard structure in the cross section area,were strongly negatively correlated with polysaccharide content.[Conclusions]The microscopic characteristic constant values of vascular bundles of *** can be used as a method to verify polysaccharide content.

[Objective] The experiment aimed to study the relation between yield components and yield per plant of double-low hybrid rapeseed and provide reference for breaking yield limitation of rapeseed and culturing new double-low hybrid rapeseed variety. [Method]The yield components and yield per plant of two cross combination of double-low hybrid rapeseed (B02, D04) and Shuza 6 were correlatively analyzed and compared, besides, the path analysis was also carried on to them. [Result] Among B02, D04 and Shuza No.6, effective pod number per plant and seeds per silique, seeds per pod and 1 000-grain weight were all negative correlation. In high yield hybrid, pod number per plant, seeds per pod had more impaction on yield per plant than 1 000-grain weight and the difference was at 0.01 significant level. In the control variety Shuza No.6, the impactions of pod number per plant and seeds per pod on yield per plant were bigger than that of 1 000-grain weight on yield per plant, however, the difference was not significant. [Conclusion] The improvement of effective pod number per plant was an important aim of breeding work of double low rapeseed breeding in Sichuan ecological region.

[Objective] This study was conducted to evaluate the associations of many characters of male sterile lines in Brassica napus L.[Method]10 recessive genetic male sterile（RGMS）lines were used as parents to cross in a half diallel cross method to produce 45 single cross *** 45 crosses and their 10 parents were evaluated at Guiyang during 2007-2008.[Result]The positive correlations of seed yield with plant height,pods per plant,days to flowering and days to maturity were *** respective correlation coefficients（r）were 0.644,0.583,0.281 and *** significant and negative correlation was observed between seeds per pod and seed size（-0.533）.Direct path coefficients were observed for pods per plant（0.556 2）,seeds per pod（0.407 4）,1 000-seed weight（0.481 3）,and plant height（0.401 7）to seed yield.[Conclusion]Pods per plant,seeds per pod,1 000-seed weight and plant height were positive correlated with seed yield and showed high direct contributions to *** characters including branches per plant,days to flowering,days to maturity and oil content had low contributions to seed yield.

The phloem of the stem of ramie(Boehmeria nivea) is an important source of natural fiber for the textile industry. However, the lignin content in the phloem affects the quality of ramie phloem fiber. In this study, the lignin content and related key gene expression levels were analyzed in the phloem and xylem at different developmental *** results showed that the relative expression levels of lignin synthesis-related key genes in the xylem and phloem of the stem gradually decreased from the fast-growing period to the late maturation period, but the corresponding lignin content increased significantly. However, the relative expression levels of a few genes were the highest during the maturation period. During all three periods, the lignin content in ramie stems was positively correlated with the expression of genes, including PAL, C4 H and 4 CL1 in the phenylpropanoid pathway, F5 H and CCoAOMT in the lignin-specific synthetic pathway, and CAD in the downstream pathway of lignin synthesis, but the lignin content was negatively correlated with the expression of genes including 4 CL3 in the phenylpropanoid pathway and UDP-GT in the shunt pathway of lignin monomer synthesis. The ramie 4 CL3 recombinant protein prefers cinnamic acid as a substrate during catalysis, and it negatively regulates lignin synthesis. It is speculated that ramie 4 CL3 is mainly involved in the synthesis of ramie flavonoid compounds, and that 4 CL1 is mainly involved in lignin synthesis.

The degrees of association among haze and impact factors determine the correct judgment and grasp the decision-making path of haze governance. This paper uses the gray correlation method of system theory comparative analyze relevance factors of haze in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Higher absolute correlation degree of industrial structure and haze in Beijing province, and highest association of population and haze in Tianjin area and Hebei province;The relative degree of grey incidence between haze and population is highest in Beijing, the relative degree of financial development and haze in Tianjin area is highest, Hebei province urbanization rate is the highest;the comprehensive degree industry structure associated with haze is the highest in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province urbanization rate is the highest comprehensive correlation with haze. It can be seen that the economic development stage and economic development situation is different, Haze problems in Tianjin and Hebei have similar places so Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions need to take a coordinated haze governance policy. Finally, the paper discusses the haze governance strategies and suggestions for the future green development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region on the basis of the results of this study aiming at the coordinated development of green transformation and coordination in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and promotes the innovation of urban agglomeration development theory and planning practice.

The author studies the effect of uncertain conductivity on the electroencephalography （EEG） forward problem. A three-layer spherical head model with different and random layer conductivities is considered. Polynomial Chaos （PC） is used to model the randomness. The author performs a sensitivity and correlation analysis of EEG sensors influenced by uncertain conductivity. The author addressed the sensitivity analysis at three stages： dipole location and moment averaged out, only the dipole moment averaged out, and both fixed. On average, the author observes the least influenced electrodes along the great longitudinal fissure. Also, sensors located closer to a dipole source, are of greater influence to a change in conductivity. The highly influenced sensors were on average located temporal. This was also the case in the correlation analysis. Sensors in the temporal parts of the brain are highly correlated. Whereas the sensors in the occipital and lower frontal region, though they are close together, are not so highly correlated as in the temporal regions. This study clearly shows that intrinsic sensor correlation exists, and therefore cannot be discarded, especially in the inverse problem. In the latter it makes it possible not to specify the conductivities. It also offers an easy but rigorous modeling of the stochastic propagation of uncertain conductivity to sensorial potentials （e.g., making it suited for research on optimal placing of these sensors）.

Building potential patent portfolios: An integrated approach based on topic identification and correlation analysis

Purpose： This paper suggests a framework to identify important patents for building potential patent portfolios based on patents owned by different assignees so as to highlight the value of individual patents in technology transfer and identify potential collaborators for patent assignees. Design/methodology/approach： The analysis framework includes the following steps： l） co-classification analysis based on the International Patent Classification （IPC） codes and Derwent Manual Codes （DMC） to detect sub-tech fields, 2） keyword co-occurrence analysis aiming to understand the core technology information in each patent, and 3） social network analysis used for identifying important technologies and partnerships of key assignees. A case study was conducted with 27,401 chemistry patents filed by a Chinese national research institute. Findings： The results show that this framework is effective in building potential technological patent portfolios based on patents owned by different assignees and identifying future collaborators for the assignees. This integrated approach based on topic identification and correlation analysis that combines network-based analysis with keyword-based analysis can reveal important patented technologies and their connections and help understand detailed technological information mentioned in patents. Research limitations： In keywords analysis, only titles and abstracts of patent documents were used and weights of keywords in different parts of the documents were not *** implications： The analysis framework provides valuable information for decision- makers of large institutions which have many patents with broad application prospects.
