Background:Rotavirus has been known as the most common viral agent to cause viral gastroenteritis which contribute to most hospitalization and death of children *** understanding the epidemiological and clinical feature of rotavirus infection,it will help in the control of rotavirus spreading,the management of rotavirus gastroenteritis and the preparation for rotavirus ***:This study aims to give a better understanding regarding the epidemiological and clinical features of rotavirus gastroenteritis in Suzhou,which will provide a useful basis for the prevention and treatment of data in children with viral ***:1223 stool specimens were collected during the period from 2012 to 2014 in children whose age is less than 5 years old and is hospitalized due to diarrhea in the gastroenterology department of Children’s Hospital of Soochow *** stool specimens were tested by using ELISA method in order to detect the group A rotavirus,and the positive rotavirus sample is further tested by RT-PCR technique for the identification of virus *** regarding the clinical feature such as diarrhea,vomit,fever and signs of dehydration(such as alertness,condition of mouth,skin,presence or absence of tears) are *** it was recorded,the dehydration level and severity level of rotavirus gastroenteritis are calculated by using the children dehydration scale(CDS) scoring and modified Vesikari ***:Among 1223 sample specimen,459(37.23%) of it is rotavirus *** is no relationship between the infection rate and *** result of rotavirus G-serotyping shows that G9 serotype is the most common finding that account for 72.11%(331/459),followed by G1 by 10.66%(29/459),G2 5.01%(23/459),and G3 4.36%(20/459),there is 1.97%(9/459) of co-infection and 5.88%(27/459) failed to be determined it’ s *** P-genotyping of rotavirus shows that P[8]account for 85.55%(361/432) of all rotavirus finding,followed by P[4]4.98%

Objection: The trend of brain hemorrhage cases of young adults have increased recently. In this article, We studied brain hemorrhage clinical feature and pathogenic causes of 72 young adults, Whose ages are all beneath 45Y. We found That the major pathogen reasons of young adult brain hemorrhage are blood system diseases、 arteriovenous malformation of cerebral blood vessel、 hypertension arteriosclerosis、 arteritis and rheumatic heart disease et. We also found that the trend can be related to hard work、 tense life、 drinking too much alcohol and eating high lipid food, and cercbral vascular disease family history. So in order to reduce the incidence of young adult brain hemorrhage, Young adults should not drink and smoke heavily, should not eat too much high lipid food. Young adults who have hypertension and brain vessel disease family history should be regularly measured blood pressure and blood lipid. If they had hypertension, should be treated regularly.

RDH12-associated retinal degeneration caused by a homozygous pathogenic variant of 146C>T and literature review

clinical features of initial cases of 2009 pandemic influenza A （H1N1） in Macao, China

Background The first case of pandemic influenza A （H1N1） virus infection in Macao Special Administrative Region （SAR） of the People＇s Republic of China was documented on June 18, 2009. Subsequently, persons with suspected infection or of contact with suspected cases received screening. All the confirmed cases were hospitalized and treated with oseltamivir. Their clinical features were observed. This may help for better management for later patients and be of benefit to the government of Macao SAR to adjust its strategy to combat the pandemic influenza A （H1N1） virus infection more efficiently. Methods From June to July 2009, the initial 72 cases of influenza A （H1N1） in Macao were hospitalized in Common Hospital Centre S. Januario （CHCSJ）. The infection was confirmed by real-time reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR）. The clinical features of the disease were closely observed and documented. Oseltamivir was given to all patients within 48 hours after the onset of disease and maintained for 5 days. Results The mean age of the 72 patients was 21 years old. Forty of them were men and 32 were women. The median incubation of the virus was 2 days （1 to 7 days）. The most common symptoms were fever （97.2%） and cough （77.8%）. The rate of gastrointestinal symptoms including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea was 2.8%. Fever typically lasted for 3 days （1 to 9 days）. The median time from the onset to positive results of real-time RT-PCR was 6 days （3 to 13 days）. After treatment with oseltamivir, most patients became afebrile within 48 hours. Only one aged patient with a history of glaucoma and hypothyroidism was found to have lung infiltration on chest X-ray. Conclusions The initial cases of pandemic influenza A （H1N1） virus infection in Macao SAR showed that most of the infected persons had a mild course. The virus could be detected by real-time RT-PCR within a median of 6 days from the onset. Oseltamivir was effective.
