The texture and grain boundary of 00Cr12 Ti FSS have a close correlation with properties and should be controlled to optimize the performance of steel sheets. In this paper, the macrotexture evolution during recrystallization annealing was investigated by XRD, the microtexture and grain boundary distribution evolution during recrystallization annealing were investigated by EBSD. The results showed that the γ fiber texture were mainly generated by replacing α fiber texture in recrystallization process. But with the holding time extending,γ fiber texture transferred to other texture after the holding time got to a certain degree. The major CSLs in 00Cr12 Ti FSS after recrystallization are Σ3 and the frequency of Σ3 climb up and then decline with the holding time extending.Σ11 plays an important role in the process of recrystallized γ fiber texture formation.

For any given 0 〈α 〈 β 〈 ∞, we construct a tree such that under tree metric, the Hausdorff dimension of the corresponding boundary is α, but both the Packing dimension and the boxing dimension are β. Applying the connection between tree and iterated functions system, non- regular fractal sets on real line are constructed. Moreover, the method adopted in our paper is different from those which have been used before for constructing non-regular fractal set in general metric space.

In this paper, the improved version of the meshless singular boundary method (ISBM) is developed for analyzing the hydrodynamic performance of bottom-standing submerged breakwaters in regular normally incident waves. Both the single and dual prismatic breakwaters of rectangular and trapezoidal forms are examined. Only the impermeable breakwaters are considered in this study. The physical problem is cast in terms of the Laplace equation governing an irrotational flow and incompressible fluid motion with the appropriate mixed-type boundary conditions, and it is solved numerically using the ISBM. The numerical results are presented in terms of the hydrodynamic quantities of reflection and transmission coefficients. The values are first validated against the data of previous studies, computed, and discussed for a variety of structural conditions, including the height, width, and spacing of breakwater submergence. An excellent agreement is observed between the ISBM results and those of other methods. The breakwater width is found to feature marginal effects compared with the height. The present method is shown to accurately predict the resonant conditions at which the maximum reflection and transmission occur. The trapezoidal breakwaters are found to generally present a wide spectrum of reflections, suggesting that they would function better than the rectangular breakwaters. The dual breakwater systems are confirmed to perform much better than single structures.

We describe the formation of nested wrinkles created by the thermal mismatch between a narrow-band thin film and a compliant substrate.When a film is described as"narrow-band",it literally means that the film band width is much shorter than its length;more precisely,it means that the width is comparable with the wavelength of the wrinkles.A silicon mask was used during film sputtering to create narrow-band films on poly(dimethylsiloxane)substrate,thus creating regular boundaries to steer local stresses and control wrinkle morphology.Disordered nano-scale wrinkles were found nested within highly ordered micro-scale sinusoidal wrinkles.The formation of nested wrinkles was explained through the amplitude and wavelength saturation of nano-scale wrinkles.The disordered morphology of nano-scale wrinkles and the highly ordered morphology of microscale wrinkles were explained by using the boundary effect.

In recent years,the inverse design of artificial materials,in the format of thin-films and superlattices,has been an active sub-field in material science.From a joint effort from both experiment and theory,scientists are searching for new engineering methods or design rules so that the materials can be custom designed with desired functionalities in theory before the materials are actually synthesized by epitaxial growth technique in laboratory.In this article,we provide a short summary of the recently proposed epitaxial strain and interface design approaches for the functional artificial oxide heterostructures.The underlying physical mechanism enabling the enhanced functional properties,such as ferroelectricity and multiferroics,are briefly reviewed.In particular,focused discussions are made on the proper treatments of both mechanical and electric boundary conditions when the oxide thin-films and superlattices are theoretically modeled by first-principles computer simulations.

A generalized formula for penetrating boundary conditions is derived based on the Z-transform. The well-known absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs), such as the Mur’s ABC, and Liao’s ABC, can be deduced from the formula. Furthermore, some new ABCs can also be deduced from it. The stability of these ABCs are demonstrated via Von Neumann method and their validity is verified by numerical examples.

The software for oil-gas transport and accumulation is to describe the history of oil-gas transport and accumulation in basin evolution. It is of great value in rational evaluation of prospecting and exploiting oil-gas resources. The mathematical model can be described as a coupled system of nonlinear partial differential equations with moving boundary value problem. This paper puts forward a kind of characteristic finite difference schemes, and derives from them optimal order estimates in l^2 norm for the error in the approximate solutions. The research is important both theoretically and practically for the model analysis in the field, for model numerical method and for software development.
