A sequential model of bargaining in logic programming

This paper proposes a sequential model of bar- gaining specifying reasoning processes of an agent be- hind bargaining procedures. We encode agents＇ background knowledge, demands, and bargaining constraints in logic pro- grams and represent bargaining outcomes in answer sets. We assume that in each bargaining situation, each agent has a set of goals to achieve, which are normally unachievable with- out an agreement among all the agents who are involved in the bargaining. Through an alternating-offers procedure, an agreement among bargaining agents may be reached by ab- ductive reasoning. We show that the procedure converges to a Nash equilibrium if each agent makes rational offers/counter- offers in each round. In addition, the sequential model also has a number of desirable properties, such as mutual commit- ments, individual rationality, satisfactoriness, and honesty.

STUDY ON DYNAMIC BARGAINING SYSTEM BASED ON MACHINE LEARNING

In this paper, aiming at the learning deficiency in the given bargaining systems, the decimal code, instead of binary code, is adopted to prevent variables from going beyond limitative scope, which will cause exceptional strategy. Furthermore, a dynamic bargaining system is presented based on machine learning (MLDBS). The result of experiment shows that the agent in MLDBS not can only identify its opponents successfully but can change its strategy in term of different opponents in a bargaining process. If is shown by the experimental datum that MLDBS increase successful times of bargaining and enhance the average payoff of agent.

1857年金融危机后,国际政治经济的研究引起关注。国际谈判成为国际关系学中一个热点研究领域。国际关系中两个重要的词语bargaining和negotiation在文献中经常互换使用。然而,国内外语言学界很少对这两个术语的概念进行探索,这就导致了一些国内英语学习者甚至翻译工作者的对于这两个词语的理解差异和误用。术语的规范化是任何一门学科长期存在和发展的前提。如果各学者各抒己见,没有统一规范的术语,既不利于学术交流,也不利于读者对国际关系的研究和理解。本文旨在从语言学的视角探索国际关系术语bargaining和negotiation的概念发展,以期规范二者在国际关系语境中的使用。本研究以1974-2000年《国际组织》发表的期刊为数字话语语料,基于数字话语分析框架“语境化洋葱层模型”和语义场理论,对bargaining和negotiation及其搭配短语的概念发展和语义关系进行定量与定性分析。通过对《国际组织》1974-2000发表的文章进行数字话语分析,本文揭示了bargaining和negotiation在所选取的研究时间段内各自的概念发展及语言使用特点。研究结果表明,在《国际组织》中bargaining的词义缩小,其概念在选取研究期间发展相对稳定,而negotiation的概念在此期间词义扩大。bargaining和negotiation在国际关系语篇中都能作为普通术语与特定术语使用。不同点在于,bargaining更多被当作国际关系理论框架中的特定术语来使用。在选取的研究时期,negotiation作为特定术语出现晚于bargaining。当前研究语料库中未检测到bargaining的复数形式,但negotiation频繁地以复数形式出现。在检索到的搭配术语中,bargaining更多作为修饰语使用,而negotiation往往作为被修饰语来描述一场重要的国际活动。bargaining和negotiation的参与者社会角色虽然一致,但区别在于,bargaining参与者更强调自身利益,不在乎另一方的利益。而在大部分例子中,negotiation参与者都关注各方的共同利益,尽管有时这种共同利益是通过威胁等消极行为获取的。同时,验证了两个术语及其搭配短语在国际关系语篇中的语义关系。本文研究分析表明bargaining和negotiation是上下义关系,通过进一步的文本标注显示,bargaining在国际关系语篇中更多作为negotiation的下义词使用。当前研究从理论上验证了Müller的语境化洋葱层模型对于数字话语分析的可行性。本文最后结合文献讨论了计算机辅助分析方法对于话语分析的理论和实际意义,并针对搭建语料和相关研究语料库的选择提出了几点建议。

国际关系术语bargaining和Negotiation的概念进行研究,具有重要的社会语言学研究意义。本研究以1974-1983年《国际组织》发表的期刊为数字话语语料,基于数字话语分析框架“语境化洋葱层模型”,对bargaining和Negotiation的相关概念发展和语义关系进行定量与定性分析。研究结果表明,bargaining和Negotiation的概念都与OED中给出的定义及先前学者提出的观点基本一致,但Negotiation在OED中的定义不能完整地概括它们在实际语境下的含义。本文试图对其在国际关系语境下的定义给予了补充,并通过检索和分析发现bargaining在语义场中更偏向作为Negotiation这个整体的一部分。

To improve the controllability and utilization of distributed energy resources(DERs),distribution-level electricity markets based on consumers’bidding and offers have been ***,the transaction costs will dramatically increase with the rapid development of ***,in this paper,we develop an energy sharing scheme that allows users to share DERs with neighbors,and design a novel incentive mechanism for benefit allocation without users’bidding on electricity *** the energy sharing scheme,an aggregator organizes a number of electricity users,and trades with the connected power *** aggregator is aimed at minimizing the total costs by matching the surplus energy from DERs and electrical loads.A novel index,termed as sharing contribution rate(SCR),is presented to evaluate different users’contributions to the energy ***,based on users’SCRs,an efficient benefit allocation mechanism is implemented to determine the aggregator’s payment to users that incentivize their participation in energy *** avoid users’bidding,we propose a decentralized framework for the energy sharing and incentive *** studies based on real-world datasets demonstrate that the aggregator and users can benefit from the energy sharing scheme,and the incentive mechanism allocates the benefits according to users’contributions.

The penetration of multi-carrier energy systems in distribution system gains more and more *** this paper,a bi-level transactive energy trading framework is proposed to improve the energy scheduling and operation efficiency for multi-carrier energy systems which are modeled as energy hubs(EHs).In the upper level,each EH in the distribution system not only makes energy scheduling decisions considering supplies and demands of local energy,but also trades energy with each other to further maximize their social *** associated trading payment among EHs is made in a fair manner by applying Nash bargaining *** solve the bargaining problem by decomposing it into two subproblems:operation cost minimization problem and payment bargaining ***,based on the trading decision,the nodal equivalent loads of EHs are sent to the distribution system operator(DSO)without publishing trading *** applying the second-order cone programming(SOCP),DSO reconfigures the network to reduce the transmission loss of the system in the lower *** network reconfiguration and the trading behavior of EHs interact and iterate until the *** studies on modified IEEE 33-bus distribution system demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed framework.

We study a supply chain consisted of a supplier and both retailers,and the supplier sells a single product through a dominant retailer and a weak *** aggressive bargaining behavior of the dominant retailer brings the supplier much concern and two feasible strategies are presented to respond to that:difference-setting wholesale pricing contract and integration with the weak *** investigate the decisions of supply chain members under each solution and find that,compared to the traditional form,the supplier always benefits from announcing the difference-setting wholesale pricing contract for it not only raises the marginal wholesale profits of both channels but also reduces the market share of the dominant retailer,thus potentially weakening its channel *** addition,we show that combining with the weak retailer is not a wise choice for suppliers when the dominant retailer with relatively little bargaining power enjoys a large market ***,by comparing the equilibria of these two solutions,we find that the optimal choice for suppliers depends not only on the difference in market share but also on the dominant retailer's bargaining power in the negotiation.
