FGM-SPCL:Open-Set Recognition Network for Medical Images Based on Fine-Grained Data Mixture and Spatial Position Constraint Loss

The current intelligent auxiliary diagnosis models all follow the closed-set recognition setting. After the model is deployed online, the input data is often not completely controlled. Diagnosing an untrained disease as a known category would lead to serious medical malpractice. Therefore, realizing the open-set recognition is significant to the safe operation of the intelligent auxiliary diagnosis model. Currently, most open-set recognition models are studied for natural images, and it is very challenging to obtain clear and concise decision boundaries between known and unknown classes when applied to fine-grained medical images. We propose an open-set recognition network for medical images based on fine-grained data mixture and spatial position constraint loss(FGM-SPCL) in this *** the fine graininess of medical images and the diversity of unknown samples, we propose a fine-grained data mixture(FGM) method to simulate unknown data by performing a mixing operation on known data to expand the coverage of unknown data difficulty levels. In order to obtain a concise and clear decision boundary, we propose a spatial position constraint loss(SPCL) to control the position distribution of prototypes and samples in the feature space and maximize the distance between known classes and unknown classes. We validate on a private ophthalmic OCT dataset, and extensive experiments and analyses demonstrate that FGM-SPCL outperforms state-of-the-art models.

Cryptanalysis of Full-Round Magpie Block Cipher

Magpie is a lightweight block cipher proposed by Li et al. in Acta Electronica Sinica volumn 45,issue 10. It adopts an substitution-permutation network(SPN) structure with a block size of 64 bits and the key size of 96 bits, respectively. To achieve the consistency of the encryption and decryption, which is both hardware and software friendly, 16 bits of the key are used as control signals to select S-boxes and another 16 bits of the key are used to determine the order of the operations. As the designers claimed, the security might be improved as different keys generate different ciphers. This paper analyzes the security of Magpie, studies the difference propagation of Magpie, and finally finds that the cipher has a set of 280weak keys which makes the full-round encryption weak, and corrects the lower bound of the number of active S-boxes to 10 instead of 25 proposed by the designers. In the weak key model, the security of the cipher is reduced by the claimed 280to only 4×216.

Technology Dependency of TID Response for a Custom Bandgap Voltage Reference in 65 nm to 28 nm Bulk CMOS Technologies

Total ionizing dose(TID) radiation response of the custom bandgap voltage reference(BGR)fabricated with 65 nm, 40 nm and 28 nm commercial bulk CMOS technologies is investigated. TID response is assessed employing Co-60 gamma ray source. The measurements indicate that the voltage reference is reduced by5.67% in 28 nm, 0.56% in 40 nm and increased by 1.28% in65 nm devices under irradiation up to 1.2 Mrad(Si) *** 48 hours of annealing, the voltage reference changes are just-1.84% in 28 nm, 0.14% in 40 nm and 1.14% in 65nm. The obtained results demonstrate that the custom BGR has naturally superior TID response due to the circuit design margins.

Towards Order-Preserving and Zero-Copy Communication on Shared Memory for Large Scale Simulation

Parallel simulation generally needs efficient, reliable and order-preserving communication. In this article, a zero-copy, reliable and order-preserving intra-node message passing approach named Ze ROshm is proposed. This mechanism partitions shared memory into segments assigned to processes for receiving *** segment consists of two levels of index L1 and L2 that recordes the order of messages in the host segment,and the processes also read from and write to the segments directly according to the indexes, thereby eliminating allocating and copying buffers. As experimental results show, Ze ROshm exhibits nearly equivalent performance to message passing interface(MPI) for small message and superior performance for large message. Specifically, Ze ROshm costs less time by 43%, 40% and 55% respectively in pure communication, communication with contention and real PHOLD simulation within a single node. Additionally, in hybrid environment, the combination of Ze ROshm and MPI also shorten the execution time of PHOLD simulation by about 42% compared to pure MPI.

Neutron irradiation-induced effects on the reliability performance of electrochemical metallization memory devices

In this work,electrochemical metallization memory(ECM)devices with an Ag/AgInSbTe(AIST)/amorphous carbon(a-C)/Pt structure were irradiated with 14 MeV *** switching reliability performance before and after neutron irradiation was compared and analyzed in *** results show that the irradiated memory cells functioned properly,and the initial resistance,the resistance at the low-resistance state(LRS),the RESET voltage and the data retention performance showed little degradation even when the total neutron fluence was as high as 2.5×1011 n/*** switching characteristics such as the forming voltage,the resistance at the high-resistance state(HRS),and the SET voltage were also studied,all of which merely showed a slight parameter ***-induced Ag ions doping of the a-C layer is proposed to explain the damaging effects of neutron *** excellent hard characteristics of these Ag/AIST/a-C/Pt-based ECM devices suggest potential beneficial applications in the aerospace and nuclear industries.

Adaptive Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Control Design for Near Space Hypersonic Vehicles

This paper presents an adaptive nonsingular terminal sliding mode approach for the attitude control of near space hypersonic vehicles(NSHV) in the presence of parameter uncertainties and external disturbances. Firstly, a novel nonsingular terminal sliding surface is developed and its finitetime convergence is analyzed. Then, an adaptive nonsingular terminal sliding mode control law is proposed, which is chattering free. In the proposed approach, all parameter uncertainties and external disturbances are lumped into one term, which is estimated by an adaptive uncertainty estimation for eliminating the boundary requirement needed in the conventional control design. Subsequently, stability of the closed-loop system is proven based on Lyapunov theory. Finally, the proposed approach is applied to the attitude control design for NSHV. Simulation results show that the proposed approach attains a satisfactory performance in the presence of parameter uncertainties and external disturbances.

In Air Traffic Control extensive use is planned of data links. One of the major candidates is the data link capability of SSR mode *** data link capability of SSR mode S however is rather limited when using conventional rotating antennas with a short and fixed time-on-target,and a long time interval between two successive beam *** results in a high access delay and too long transaction times for long messages consisting of several ELM frames. The paper presents a method for the analysis of the cause of reply losses,and then discusses a novel approach to the data link’s short comings,while maintaining the surveillance capability:the substitution of a number of interrogators with a rotating antenna by a distributed network of(listen-only)SSR mode S ground system receivers and a transmitter. The results show that the mode S transponders suffer from a high reply loss,by occupancy due to mode A/C interrogations, and shows that the novel approach offers adequate data link performance while maintaining the reply loss numbers at an acceptable low probability.
