Objective:Validation is an important aspect of an instrument,and it ensures the confidence of researchers to employ the instrument in their *** study was conducted to develop and validate an instrument to assess knowledge,attitudes,and practices(KAP) on digital health among nurses since digital health capacity is a major concern in health care that needs to be ***:We conducted a methodological study to assess the content validity and reliability of the ***,items were generated through a comprehensive literature review and by obtaining an expert ***,content and face validity were assessed by a panel of 7 *** the item-level content validity index(I-CVI) and the scale-level content validity index(S-CVI) were ***,test–retest reliability and internal consistency of the instrument were *** were analyzed using SPSS version ***:The initial pool consisted of 60 items and after obtaining content,face,and construct validity,51 items *** with an I-CVI assessment tool of KAP on digital health among healthcare professionals.

以往植物病害常用的评估方法都是靠目视和经验评估,而利用计算机自动识别植物病害强度与定量的技术评估可以有效避免目测评估病害所造成的误差。本研究以小麦条锈病、苹果叶片褐斑病为例,介绍了图像处理软件assess在植物病害评估中的应用。结果证明,assess可以有效地对小麦条锈病、苹果叶片褐斑病严重度、病斑大小、病斑数目和根系长度等指标进行自动计算,其评估效果可靠,重复性较好。

The relative abundance and weathering rate of minerals that produce and consume acidity dictates whether a mine water discharge will be acidic or alkaline. Because metal ion solubility generally decreases with increasing pH, acidic waters are associated with greater risk from dissolved metals loads, while alkaline waters area associated with environmental degradation due to the oxidative precipitation of iron as ochrous deposits in surface water channels. Pyrite weathering produces acidity and dissolved iron loads, while calcite and, to a lesser extent, alumino silicate minerals, provide neutralising capacity that helps maintain circumneutral pH. Relating the relative abundance of these source minerals in the mining environment, and their relative rates of weathering, provides a conceptual framework within which to develop risk assessment and risk management approaches to minewater pollution. In particular the lifetime of contamination, and time scales to reach improved or detereorated mine water discharge quality is critical when assessing environmental impacts and risk, and when choosing treatment technology or selecting other approaches to handling minewater pollution. 

In this research, a 4 hierarchical pyramid structure approach is proposed to assess children road safety. The first is referred to as the road safety pyramid representing children road safety components and levels including root, at accident and post accident levels and factors. The second, referred to as the children road safety assessment pyramid, includes 3 cornerstones that are required to represent a detailed methodological children road safety diagnostics. These 3 cornerstones include children safety culture, safety indicators and accident data analysis. The third pyramid, referred to as the children road safety indicators, shows the levels and types of indicators that when computed can be used for in depth analysis and historical comparison of children road safety. The core of the paper is the development of a conceptual model of factors affecting the road behavior of children including traffic exposure and experience, cognitive skills and abilities, perceptual skills, knowledge and attitude. Towards this end, the paper presents the fourth pyramid, referred to as the children road safety behavior pyramid. This includes a 7-level hierarchal structure starting from exposure leading to experience and then skills/abilities, to knowledge to perception to attitudes and eventually culminating into children road safety behavior. The paper concludes by developing a generic integrated children road safety package of policies, measures, initiatives. The package is composed of 18 fields of action. In pursuing such integrated safety package this research also enhanced the classical 3Es concept (Engineering—Education—Enforcement) and introduced instead the 14Es honeycomb structure including (Engineer-ing—Education—Environment—Enforcement—Egalitarianism—Exposure—Ethics—Emergency—Ergonomics—Encouragement—Empowerment—Enabling—Economics—Evaluation). Luster is one of the main factors in assessing fabric appearance. There are many different ways to definite and describe the luster, which result in disorder and discommodious in evaluation. Based on previous work, an apparatus suited for the measure of lustre is developed. Which performed measure the reflection distribution of fabrics automatically. Then the objective judgment can be given by the geniophotometric curve. Finally taking several kind of specimens for example give the results to prove the effectiveness of the device.

This paper explores the relationship between motivation and assessment and find out the assessment strategies which could motivate students better in L2 learning based on the data and responses collected from 30 non-English majors in a regional university. The data and responses revealed that formative assessment could motivate students better, especially during the process of English learning. It also revealed some problems existing in the assessment strategies implemented in this study, such as the impartiality of peer-assessment and the poor efficiency of group work.

The aim of this paper is to assess the importance of Water Demand Management (WDM) strategy to the improvement of water supply and sanitation in Nigeria. Persistent water supply shortages and poor sanitation have since remained important features of the Nigerian urban and rural communities. Most often governmental solution to these problems has been to develop and exploit the available water resources and the level of sanitation for the people. This predominant approach which is also known as augmentation method is supply driven with the primary purpose being how best to meet the perceived water and sanitation demand. One of the major disadvantages of this approach is the huge financial involvement associated with it. Conversely, quite recently water resource managers have begun to direct attention on how consumers can be motivated to regulate the amount and manner in which they use and dispose water to alleviate pressure on freshwater supplies. This new approach is known as water demand management. It is demand driven in that consumers determine their own water need. Employment of WDM by consumers especially in water scarce areas as was discussed in the paper will decrease the amount of water use, thereby limiting unnecessary financial expenditure in exploiting new sources to meet the ever increasing demand.
