Ovarian endometrioma（OE）, also known as “chocolate cysts,” is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility. However, the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown, posing challenges for diagnosis and treatment. Here, we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell populations. We identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with OE. Notably, the activation of IGFBP5+macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties, NK cell exhaustion, and aberrant proliferation of IQCG+and KLF2+epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of OE. Collectively, our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Functionalized carbon dots(CDs)obtained from citric acid derivative were selected as intercalatorto modify graphene and then dispersed into epoxy matrix to prepare CDs modified graphene/epoxy(CDs-G/EP)***,their microstructure,self-healing and corro sion resistance behaviors were analyzed *** characterizations indicated the formation of"π-π"interaction between functionalized carbon dots and *** observation,the dispersion and interface compatibility of graphene were greatly enhanced by *** change rules of electrochemistry results implied that the addition of 0.5 wt.%CDs-G in EP coating(CDs-G0.5%/EP)demonstrated a superior protective property on steel,which was attributed to the physical barrier of highly dispersed graphene and the self-healing ability of *** 50 days immersion,the oxygen permeability coefficient and water absorption of CDs-G0.5%/EP coating were only 4.27×10^(-13)cm^(3)cm cm^(-2)s^(-1)Pa^(-1) and 4.4%,respectively.

An eco-friendly and effective corrosion inhibitor(N-CDs)was acquired by hydrothermal method in methacrylic acid and ethyl(methyl)amine ***,the weight loss and electrochemistry measurement were chosen to appraise the corrosion inhibition behavior of as-prepared N-CDs for Q235 steel in Cl-contained *** change rules of EIS and Tafel data displayed that the as-prepared N-CDs revealed a high-efficiency protection for steel in all test ***,the inhibition efficiency of steel reached up to 93.93%(1 M HCl)and 88.96%(3.5 wt%Na Cl)at 200 mg/L of ***,the N-CDs could form the adsorption film on steel surface to avoid the strong attack of Cl-.By analysis,the adsorption mechanism of as-prepared N-CDs on steel surface was physicochemical interaction,which strictly complied with the Langmuir adsorption model in both solutions.

In order to solve the problem of ammonia-nitrogen pollution in the enrichment process of the ionadsorption type rare earth ore,the technology of non-ammonia precipitation with magnesium oxide precipitant was carried *** is determined that the rare earth precipitation efficiency is 99.6%and the purity of rare earth concentrates is only 85.89 wt%under the optimum precipitation *** the contents of MgO,SO3 and Al2O3 in the rare earth concentrates are 5.12 wt%,6.77 wt%and 1.78 wt%,***,the thermo-decomposition process of precipitates was investigated by TGDSC,XRD and *** thermal decomposition process consists of two stages:the dehydration of rare earth hydroxide and alkaline rare earth sulfate within 900℃and the thermal decomposition of RE2O2SO4 at 900-1300℃.Therefore,a high-temperature calcinations method for removing SO3 from precipitates is *** the precipitates are calcined at 1300℃for 2 h,the rare earth concentrates with a purity of 92.03 wt%can be ***,the content of SO3 in the concentrate is only 0.46 wt%.In the MgO precipitation and high-temperature calcinations process,the raw material cost is low and the quality of rare earth concentrates is *** could have great significance for nonammonia enrichment of rare earth from the rare earth leaching liquor,and finally solve the problem of ammonia nitrogen in the extraction process of the ion-adsorption type rare earth ore within magnesium salt system.

High-resolution non-emissive displays based on electrochromic tungsten oxides (WOx) are crucial for future near-eye virtual/augmented reality interactions, given their impressive attributes such as high environmental stability, ideal outdoor readability, and low energy consumption. However, the limited intrinsic structure of inorganic materials has presented a significant challenge in achieving precise patterning/pixelation at the micron scale. Here, we successfully developed the direct photolithography for WOx nanoparticles based on in situ photo-induced ligand exchange. This strategy enabled us to achieve ultra-high resolution efficiently (line width m, the best resolution for reported inorganic electrochromic materials). Additionally, the resulting device exhibited impressive electrochromic performance, such as fast response ( 3600 cycles), as well as promising applications in electronic logos, pixelated displays, flexible electronics, etc. The success and advancements presented here are expected to inspire and accelerate research and development (R&D) in high-resolution non-emissive displays and other ultra-fine micro-electronics.

Sporadic E(Es)layers in the ionosphere are characterized by intense plasma irregularities in the E region at altitudes of 90-130 *** they can significantly influence radio communications and navigation systems,accurate forecasting of Es layers is crucial for ensuring the precision and dependability of navigation satellite *** this study,we present Es predictions made by an empirical model and by a deep learning model,and analyze their differences comprehensively by comparing the model predictions to satellite RO measurements and ground-based ionosonde *** deep learning model exhibited significantly better performance,as indicated by its high coefficient of correlation(r=0.87)with RO observations and predictions,than did the empirical model(r=0.53).This study highlights the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technology into ionosphere modelling generally,and into predicting Es layer occurrences and characteristics,in particular.

BACKGROUND Type II diabetes mellitus(T2DM)has been associated with increased risk of colon cancer(CC)and worse prognosis in patients with *** effects of T2DM on postoperative chemoresistance rate(CRR)and long-term disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with stage III CC who receive curative resection remain *** To investigate whether T2DM or glycemic control is associated with worse postoperative survival outcomes in stage III *** This retrospective cohort study included 278 patients aged 40-75 years who underwent surgery for stage III CC from 2018 to *** on preoperative T2DM history,the patients were categorized into non-DM(n=160)and DM groups(n=118).The latter was further divided into well-controlled(n=73)and poorly controlled(n=45)groups depending on the status of glycemic ***,OS,and CRR were compared between the groups and Cox regression analysis was used to identify risk *** Patients in the DM and non-DM groups demonstrated similar DFS,OS,and CRR(DFS:72.03%vs 78.75%,P=0.178;OS:81.36%vs 83.12%,P=0.638;CRR:14.41%vs 7.5%,P=0.063).Poorly controlled DM was associated with a significantly worse prognosis and higher CRR than well-controlled DM(DFS:62.22%vs 78.07%,P=0.021;OS:71.11%vs 87.67%,P=0.011;CRR:24.40%vs 8.22%,P=0.015).High preoperative fasting plasma glucose[DFS:Hazard ratio(HR)=2.684,P<0.001;OS:HR=2.105,P=0.019;CRR:HR=2.214,P=0.005]and glycosylated hemoglobin levels(DFS:HR=2.344,P=0.006;OS:HR=2.119,P=0.021;CRR:HR=2.449,P=0.009)indicated significantly poor prognosis and high CRR,while T2DM history did not(DFS:HR=1.178,P=0.327;OS:HR=0.933,P=0.739;CRR:HR=0.997,P=0.581).CONCLUSION Increased preoperative fasting plasma glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels,but not T2DM history,were identified as risk factors associated with poor postoperative outcomes and high CRR in patients with stage III CC.

Ion-absorbed rare earth ores radioactive residues(IREORR)are a class of waste residue from the production of rare earth elements(REEs).Because of its radioactive dose,IREORR are usually stored in waste *** are difficult to be disposed ***,it contains relatively high concentrations of REEs,which can be considered as a valuable secondary *** this paper,a novel process is developed for the separation of thorium(Th)and recovery of REEs from IREORR hydrochloric acid leachate with primary amine N1923 and Cyanex?572,*** effects of sulfate concentration,extractant concentration and pH on N1923 extraction in hydrochloric acid solution were investigated in *** results show that the extraction capacity of N1923 can be improved by adding sulfate to the solution and increasing the concentration of *** has little effect on the extraction of Th when pH is higher than *** for the stripping,REEs are more easily stripped from loaded organic phase than Th,and nitric acid is a better stripping agent than hydrochloric *** with the extraction of Cyanex■572 for REEs,a fractional extraction experiment for separating Th and enriching of REEs was *** yield of Th is higher than 99.9%and the concentration of REEs is enriched to 183.84 g/L.
