In this study, a method for preparing activated carbon (AC) from wheat dust (WD) was developed to achieve efficient removal of tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH). The AC, prepared through response surface methodology with a carbonization temperature of 590℃, a NaOH to WD ratio of 4:1, and an activation temperature of 800℃, exhibited a high specific surface area of 2821.58 m^(2)/g. It demonstrated a remarkable TCH removal capacity of 1414.65 mg/g in aqueous solution. The AC retained an adsorption capacity of 1035.36 mg/g after five cycles and maintained over 80% of its adsorption capacity in different water bodies. The adsorption of TCH by AC, primarily controlled by surface sites through chemical and physical interactions, involved mechanisms such as pore-filling, electrostatic interactions, hydrogen bonding, π-cation interactions, and π-π interactions. This study highlights the potential of WD in preparing effective adsorbents, providing valuable insights for the comprehensive utilization of similar byproducts.

Carbon dots(CDs),due to their low cost,high stability,and high luminous efficiency,have emerged as an excellent material for the emissive layer in next-generation electroluminescent light-emitting diodes(ELEDs).However,improving the efficiency of fluorescent CDs-based ELEDs remains challenging,primarily because it is difficult to utilize triplet excitons in the electroluminescence ***,enhancing the exciton utilization efficiency of CDs during electroluminescence is *** on this,we exploited the characteristic large exciton binding energy commonly found in CDs to develop exciton-emitting *** CDs facilitate the radiative recombination of excitons during electroluminescence,thereby improving the electroluminescent *** rationally selecting precursors,we developed high quantum efficiency CDs and subsequently constructed CDs-based *** blue-light device exhibited an external quantum efficiency of over 4%.This study introduces a novel design concept for CDs,providing a new strategy for developing high-performance blue ELEDs based on CDs.

The surface of a high-speed vehicle reentering the atmosphere is surrounded by plasma *** to the influence of the inhomogeneous flow field around the vehicle,understanding the electromagnetic properties of the plasma sheath can be *** the electron density of the plasma sheath is crucial for understanding and achieving plasma stealth of *** this work,the relationship between electromagnetic wave attenuation and electron density is deduced *** attenuation distribution along the propagation path is found to be proportional to the integral of the plasma electron *** result is used to predict the electron density ***,the average electron density is obtained using a back-propagation neural network ***,the spatial distribution of the electron density can be determined from the average electron density and the normalized derivative of attenuation with respect to the propagation *** to traditional probe measurement methods,the proposed approach not only improves efficiency but also preserves the integrity of the plasma environment.

In order to improve the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA),multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)were used as reinforcement through in situ polymerization method to prepare PMMA/MWCNTs composites by changing the reaction time,polymerization temperature and the content of *** effects of different reaction conditions on the properties of the composites were *** results show that the mechanical properties,thermal/electrical conductivity and thermal stability of the composites are improved compared with the PMMA *** tensile strength of the composites is increased by up to 24%.The bending strength of the composite material increases from20.41 to 68.04 MPa,and the maximum increase is 233%.Meanwhile,when the content of MWCNTs is 3 wt%,the thermal conductivity of the composite is 0.335 W/(m·K),which increases by138%,and the electrical conductivity is 3.94 S/*** thermal stability of the composite has been significantly *** modified PMMA will be widely used in medicine,communications,electronics and other fields.

Solid–liquid separation is widely used in daily life and practical *** industrial filters are prone to clogging,but this rarely occurs in filter-feeding *** by the filter feeding mechanism of balaenid whales and considering the local grooves in the fringes layer,a new bionic filter is produced by 3D printing technology through the bionic design of the parallel channels inside the mouth of balaenid *** the same time,a test platform composed of the bionic filter,peristaltic pump,fluid pulse rectifier and water tank is built to carry out the fluid flow pattern dyeing and particle filtration *** is found that fluid separation occurs near the groove structure and local vortices are *** vortex control filtration mechanism makes the particles in the front grooves tend to accumulate on the left side,which has a certain anti-clogging ***,the increase of flow velocity leads to the enhancement of vortices,which makes the accumulation effect on the left more *** study initially practices the bionic application from biological model to engineering design,and the vortex control anti-clogging filtration mechanism proposed in the study has a wide range of application prospects and values.

Conductive metal-organic frameworks(c-MOFs)are promising active electrode materials for electrochemical double-layer capacitors with a performance that already exceeds most carbon-based ***,their excellent supercapacitance is primarily based on organic or alkaline electrolytes,which largely impede their broad applications and *** this work,we propose a new synthesis approach for fabricating carbon nanotubes and c-MOFs(CNT@MOFs)core–shell structures,which result in high supercapacitance in neutral aqueous *** identify that CNTs provide abundant active sites to ensure high capacitance,and Ni3(2,3,6,7,10,11-hexaiminotriphenylene(HITP))2 nanoarrays that in situ grow on the surface of CNTs bundles can significantly improve the conductivity and provide enough ion transport pathways in aqueous ***,using CNT@MOFs core-shell structures as an electrode,we obtained a high initial capacitance of 150.7 F·g^(−1) at 0.1 A·g^(−1) in 1 M Na2SO4 solution and good capacity retention of 83.5%after 10,000 cycles at 4 A·g^(−1).We also found that the carboxyl groups on the surface of CNTs provide better anchor sites for the in situ growth of c-MOF,which promotes the uniform growth of c-MOF shells on the CNT surface and improves aqueous electrolyte *** believe that the high supercapacitance in aqueous electrolytes reported in this work would provide a good prospect for deploying c-MOF based energy storage devices into biomedical and other healthcare electronic applications.

Among the various anodes,Li_(3)VO_(4)is a potential intercalation kind anode used in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)that exhibits safer discharge voltage and higher capacity than graphite,a lower voltage plateau than Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12),and smaller volume difference in the Li^(+)intercalation/deintercalation process than metals and ***,the comparatively low electronic conductivity,low initial coulombic efficiency(ICE)and serious capacity decay make the Li_(3)VO_(4)anode unviable when it comes to practical ***,this paper reviews the research progress of Li_(3)VO_(4)in recent years,mainly including the strategies of developing different synthesis methods to construct unique morphology,through coating,compositing or elemental doping to increase the ICE,electronic conductivity and the cycle ***,the application of Li_(3)VO_(4)anode materials in other energy storage systems is ***,the development prospect and challenge of Li_(3)VO_(4)anodes are discussed.

The aim of this paper is to develop a fully discrete local discontinuous Galerkin method to solve a class of variable-order fractional diffusion *** scheme is discretized by a weighted-shifted Grünwald formula in the temporal discretization and a local discontinuous Galerkin method in the spatial *** stability and the L^(2)-convergence of the scheme are proved for all variable-orderα(t)∈(0,1).The proposed method is of accuracy-order O(τ^(3)+h^(k+1)),whereτ,h,and k are the temporal step size,the spatial step size,and the degree of piecewise P^(k)polynomials,*** numerical tests are provided to illustrate the accuracy and the capability of the scheme.
