Removal and fluorescence detection of antibiotics from wastewater by layered double oxides/metal-organic frameworks with different topological configurations

Owing to the serious potential side-effects on the environment and human health,the rapid detection and removal of antibiotics have become an important research *** this work,four zinc-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)with different functional groups,i.e.,Zn-MOF,Zn-MOF-CH_(3),Zn-MOF-NO_(2),Zn-MOF-COOH,were utilized for the construction of LDO/MOF composite materials with a nickel-iron-cobalt-based layered double oxide,*** results showed that the LDO/MOF composites not only had high sensitivity in detecting sulfonamide and quinolone antibiotics,but also had an appreciable ability to adsorb them from *** maximum adsorption capacities of all the four types of LDO@Zn-MOFs to all antibiotics can at least reach 150 mg/g,and the limits of detection in relation to all four antibiotics were at least as low as 100μg/*** work suggested the dual-function extraction performance can be attributed to the synergistic effects between the LDO and the ***,the strong ferromagnetism derived from the LDO provided great convenience for the separation and regeneration of the LDO/MOF composites.

CD36 is a highly glycosylated integral membrane protein that belongs to the scavenger receptor class B family and regulates the pathological progress of metabolic ***36 was recently found to be widely expressed in various cell types in the nervous system,including endothelial cells,pericytes,astrocytes,and ***36 mediates a number of regulatory processes,such as endothelial dysfunction,oxidative stress,mitochondrial dysfunction,and inflammatory responses,which are involved in many central nervous system diseases,such as stroke,Alzheimer’s disease,Parkinson’s disease,and spinal cord ***36 antagonists can suppress CD36 expression or prevent CD36 binding to its ligand,thereby achieving inhibition of CD36-mediated pathways or ***,we reviewed the mechanisms of action of CD36 antagonists,such as Salvianolic acid B,tanshinone IIA,curcumin,sulfosuccinimidyl oleate,antioxidants,and small-molecule ***,we predicted the structures of binding sites between CD36 and *** sites can provide targets for more efficient and safer CD36 antagonists for the treatment of central nervous system diseases.

Effect of Room Temperature Ultrasonic Vibration Compression on the Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Properties of AZ91 Alloy

To investigate the potential of direct ultrasonic vibration on improving the performance of magnesium alloys,this study first employed the ultrasonic vibration compression(UVC)on the solid solution treated AZ91 alloy,and explored its microstructure evolution and mechanical properties under *** only two seconds,the UVC alloys showed large deformation strains of 34.8–54.4%,and sudden increase of sample temperature to 243℃.Microstructure characterizations proved that UVC promoted the formation of abundant shear bands,fine grains,and the bimodal distribution of Mg17Al12 precipitates consisting of submicron particles located within the shear bands and nano-sized ones within the *** to the unique microstructure,the micro-hardness(and nano-hardness)value of UVC alloy was increased by 37.7%(35%)when compared with the solution-treated ***,the nano-modulus of the developed AZ91 alloy was also significantly increased to 62 GPa by statistical nanoindentation tests,which could be ascribed to increased Mg_(17)Al_(12) precipitates and decreased c/a value to some *** general,this work provides a new insight into the design and preparation of high-performance magnesium alloys by UVC at room temperature.

Investigation on binding between cations and amides using UV Raman spectroscopy

The interaction of proteins with salt ions plays an important role in life activities. We used butyramide as a model molecule to investigate the interaction of protein backbones with cations. The experiment was performed in an aqueous solution of metal chloride using UV Raman spectroscopy. It was found that well-hydrated metal cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) tend to bind to C=O in the amide bond, resulting in redistribution of the amide I band peaks. Specifically, the peak intensity ratio of 1655 cm-1 to 1610 cm-1 increases significantly with increasing concentrations. However, this phenomenon is not obviously observed in NaCl solution. Furthermore, we studied the effect of salt ions on the water structures. The addition of Ca2+ and Mg2+ is beneficial to the enhancement of the water signal at the 3400 cm−1 position, while the Na+ at the same concentration is not obvious. The results have shown that the interaction between cations and amides satisfies the following order: Ca2+>Mg2+>Na+, which conforms to the Hofmeister series.

The infrared radiation temperature(IRT)variation concerning stress and crack evolution of rocks is a critical focus in rock mechanics domain and engineering disaster *** this paper,a methodology to extract the key IRT features related to stress and crack evolution of loaded rocks is ***,the wavelet denoising and reconstruction in thermal image sequence(WDRTIS)method is employed to eliminate temporal noise in thermal image ***,the adaptive partition temperature drift correction(APTDC)method is introduced to alleviate temperature *** this basis,the spatial noise correction method based on threshold segmentation and adaptive median filtering(OTSU-AMF)is proposed to extract the key IRT features associated with microcracks of loaded *** temperature drift correction,IRT provides an estimation of the thermoelastic factor in rocks,typically around 5.29×10^(-5) MPa^(-1) for *** reveal that the high-temperature concentrated region in cumulative thermal images of crack evolution(TICE)can elucidate the spatiotemporal evolution of localized ***,heat dissipation of crack evolution(HDCE)acquired from TICE quantifies the progressive failure process of *** proposed methodology enhances the reliability of IRT monitoring results and provides an innovative approach for conducting research in rock mechanics and monitoring engineering disasters.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common multifactorial skin disease characterized by chronic inflammation， unbearable itching， and significant physical and mental burden on patients. In recent years， there has been extensive studied on the use of natural polysaccharides in anti-inflammatory therapy， due to their low toxicity and multi-target pharmacological activity. The unique biological activities of polysaccharides from natural sources as functional food additives and cosmeceuticals present a new option for the treatment of AD. This review aims to summarize the pathogenesis of AD， the therapeutic effects， and the mechanisms of natural polysaccharides， as well as discuss the limitations and prospects of these compounds in the treatment of AD. The insights provided in this review can serve as references and inspiration for the development of applications of natural polysaccharides in the treatment of AD.

In recent years,various adversarial defense methods have been proposed to improve the robustness of deep neural *** training is one of the most potent methods to defend against adversarial ***,the difference in the feature space between natural and adversarial examples hinders the accuracy and robustness of the model in adversarial *** paper proposes a learnable distribution adversarial training method,aiming to construct the same distribution for training data utilizing the Gaussian mixture *** distribution centroid is built to classify samples and constrain the distribution of the sample *** natural and adversarial examples are pushed to the same distribution centroid to improve the accuracy and robustness of the *** proposed method generates adversarial examples to close the distribution gap between the natural and adversarial examples through an attack algorithm explicitly designed for adversarial *** algorithm gradually increases the accuracy and robustness of the model by scaling ***,the proposed method outputs the predicted labels and the distance between the sample and the distribution *** distribution characteristics of the samples can be utilized to detect adversarial cases that can potentially evade the model *** effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through comprehensive experiments.

Riemann-Hilbert Problem and Multiple High-order Poles Solutions of the Focusing MKdV Equation with Nonzero Boundary Conditions

The focusing modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation with multiple high-order poles under the nonzero boundary conditions is first investigated via developing a Riemann-Hilbert(RH) approach. We begin with the asymptotic property, symmetry and analyticity of the Jost solutions, and successfully construct the RH problem of the focusing mKdV equation. We solve the RH problem when 1/S11(k) has a single highorder pole and multiple high-order poles. Furthermore, we derive the soliton solutions of the focusing mKdV equation which corresponding with a single high-order pole and multiple high-order poles, respectively. Finally,the dynamics of one-and two-soliton solutions are graphically discussed.

Trend of Storm Surge Induced by Typical Landfall Super Typhoons During 1975–2021 in the Eastern China Sea

Climate change affects the activity of global and regional tropical cyclones(TCs).Among all TCs,typical super typhoons(STYs)are particularly devastating because they maintain their intensity when landing on the coast and thus cause casualties,economic losses,and environmental *** a 3D tidal model,we reconstructed the typhoon(TY)wind field to simulate the storm surge induced by typical *** TY activity was then analyzed using historical *** showed a downtrend of varying degrees in the annual frequency of STYs and TCs in the Western North Pacific(WNP)Basin,with a significant trend change observed for TCs from 1949 to 2021.A large difference in the interannual change in frequency was found between STYs and TCs in the WNP and Eastern China Sea(ECS).Along the coast of EC,the frequency of landfall TCs showed a weak downtrend,and the typical STYs showed reverse micro growth with peak activity in ***,Fujian,and Taiwan were highly vulnerable to the frontal hits of typical *** by climate change,the average lifetime maximum intensity(LMI)locations and landfall locations of typical STYs in the ECS basin showed a significant poleward migration *** addition,the annual average LMI and accumulated cyclone energy showed an uptrend,indicating the increasing severity of the disaster *** by the typical STY activity in the ECS,the maximum storm surge area also showed poleward migration,and the coast of North China faced potential growth in high storm surge risks.
