Robust Stability and Stabilization of Discrete Singular Systems with Interval Time-varying Delay and Linear Fractional Uncertainty

The robust stability and robust stabilization problems for discrete singular systems with interval time-varying delay and linear fractional uncertainty are discussed. A new delay-dependent criterion is established for the nominal discrete singular delay systems to be regular, causal and stable by employing the linear matrix inequality （LMI） approach. It is shown that the newly proposed criterion can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. Then, with this criterion, the problems of robust stability and robust stabilization for uncertain discrete singular delay systems are solved, and the delay-dependent LMI conditions are obtained. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Characteristics of vertical double-gate dual-strained-channel MOSFETs

A novel device structure with a vertical double-gate and dual-strained channel is *** electrical characteristics of this device with a gate length of 100 nm are *** a Ge content of 20%,the drain currents of the strained-Si NMOSFET and the strained-SiGe PMOSFET compared to the universal SOI MOSFETs are enhanced by 26% and 33%,respectively;the risetime and the falltime of the strained-channel CMOS are greatly decreased by 50% and 25.47% compared to their traditional Si channel *** simulation results show that the vertical double-gate（DG） dual-strained-channel MOSFETs exhibit better drive capability,a higher transconductance,and a faster circuit speed for CMOS compared to conventional-Si *** new structure can be achieved by today＇s semiconductor manufacturing level.

In some large-scale nonlinear uncertain systems there exists a special subsystem,which possesses the maximum state *** introducing a group of adjustable relation parameters （GARP）,a new decentralized robust control strategy is proposed according to focus on this special *** the GARP is adjustable,it is easy to get good *** controller is linear via state feedback even though the system to be controlled is nonlinear and ***,the assumptions made for controller designing are weakened in the proposed ***,the simulation shows the validity.

We consider vehicle muting location problems, inventory-location problems and hub problems as a recent research field of discrete facility location problems according to literature from the last 10 years.

This paper investigates computationally the chaotic saddles in a nonlinear vibro-impact *** a classical Duffing vibro-impact oscillator,we employ the bisection procedure and the improved stagger-and-step method to present evidence of visual chaotic saddles on the fractal basin boundary and in the internal basin,*** study shows that the unstable period orbits play an important role in the evolution of chaotic *** unstable periods created through a saddle-node bifurcation not only fill the "gaps" right after the chaotic crisis,but also are responsible for the switch between the internal chaotic saddle and the boundary chaotic ***,a novel phenomenon of chaotic saddle crisis is unfolded,that is,the chaotic saddle on the basin boundary can be decomposed into two different chaotic *** two chaotic saddles are located on the basin boundary and in the internal basin respectively,and are connected by a coupling unstable periods on the basin ***,these unstable periods fill the "gaps" right after the rupture of chaotic saddle.
