Ischemic stroke is a leading cause of death and disability worldwide,with an increasing trend and tendency for onset at a younger ***,in particular,bears a high burden of stroke *** recent years,the inflammatory response after stroke has become a research hotspot:understanding the role of inflammatory response in tissue damage and repair following ischemic stroke is an important direction for its *** review summarizes several major cells involved in the inflammatory response following ischemic stroke,including microglia,neutrophils,monocytes,lymphocytes,and ***,we have also highlighted the recent progress in various treatments for ischemic stroke,particularly in the field of stem cell ***,understanding the complex interactions between inflammation and ischemic stroke can provide valuable insights for developing treatment strategies and improving patient *** cell therapy may potentially become an important component of ischemic stroke treatment.

Study on Band Structure of YbB_6 and Analysis of Its Optical Conductivity Spectrum

The electronic structure of YbB6 crystal was studied by means of density functional （GGA ＋ U） method. The calculations were performed by FLAPW method. The high accurate band structure was achieved. The correlation between the feature of the band structure and the Yb-B6 bonding in YbB6 was analyzed. On this basis, some optical constants of YbB6 such as reflectivity, dielectric function, optical conductivity, and energy-loss function were calculated. The results are in good agreement with the experiments. The real part of the optical conductivity spectrum and the energy-loss function spectrum were analyzed in detail. The assignments of the spectra were carried out to correlate the spectral peaks with the interband electronic transitions, which justify the reasonable part of previous empirical assignments and renew the missed or incorrect ones.

From Cycles to Sequences:Sequence Stratigraphy and Relative Sea Level Change for the Late Cambrian of the North china Platform

In the Late Cambrian, the North china Platform was a typical carbonate ramp platform. The Upper Cambrian of the northern part of the North china Platform is famous for the development of bioherm limestones and storm calcirudites and can be divided from bottom to top into the Gushan, Changshan and Fengshan formations. In this set of strata, the deep-ramp mudstone and marls and the shallow-ramp packstones and grainstones constitute many carbonate meter-scale cycles of subtidal type. More tidal-flat dolomites are developed in the Upper Cambrian of the southern margin of the North china platform, in which limestone and dolomite beds also constitute many carbonate meter-scale cycles of the peritidal type. These cycles are marked by a variety of litho-facies successions. There are regularly vertical stacking patterns of meter-scale cycles in long-term third-order sequences, which is the key to discerning such sequences. Third- order sequence is marked by a particular sedimentary-facies succession that is the result of the environment-changing process of deepening and shoaling, which is genetically related to third-order sea level changes. Furthermore, four third- order sequences can be grouped in the Upper Cambrian of the North china Platform. The main features of these four third -order sequences in the northern part of the platform can be summarized as follows: firstly, sequence-boundaries are characterized by drowning unconformities; secondly, the sedimentary-facies succession is generally constituted by one from deep-ramp facies to shallow-ramp facies; thirdly, a succession of “CS (?)+HST” (i.e., “condensed section and high- stand system”) forms these four third-order sequences. The chief features for the third-order sequences in the southern part of the North china Platform comprises: more dolomites are developed in the HSTs of third-order sequences and also developed more carbonate meter-scale cycles of peritidal types; the sedimentary-facies succession of the third

UV Photodissociation Dynamics of Nitric Acid： The Hydroxyl Elimination Channel

Sliced velocity mapping ion imaging technique was employed to investigate the dynamics of the hydroxyl elimination channel in the photodissociaiton of nitric acid in the ultraviolet region. The OH product was detected by （2＋1） resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization via the D^2∑^- electronic state. The total kinetic energy spectra of the OH＋NO2 channel from the photolysis of HONO2 show that both ：NO2（X2A1） and NO2（A2B2） channels are present, suggesting that both 1^1A″ and 2^1A″ excited electronic states of HONO2 are involved in the excitation. The parallel angular distributions suggest that the dissociation of the nitric acid is a fast process in comparison with the rotational period of the HNO3 molecule. The anisotropy parameter β for the hydroxyl elimination channel is found to be dependent on the OH product rotational state as well as the photolysis energy.

Elementary analysis of interferometers for wave particle duality test and the prospect of going beyond the complementarity principle

A distinct method to show a quantum object behaving both as wave and as particle is proposed and described in some detail. We make a systematic analysis using the elementary methodology of quantum mechanics upon Young＇s two-slit interferometer and the Mach-Zehnder two-arm interferometer with the focus placed on how to measure the interference pattern （wave nature） and the which-way information （particle nature） of quantum objects. We design several schemes to simultaneously acquire the which-way information for an individual quantum object and the high-contrast interference pattern for an ensemble of these quantum objects by placing two sets of measurement instruments that are well separated in space and whose perturbation of each other is negligibly small within the interferometer at the same time. Yet, improper arrangement and cooperation of these two sets of measurement instruments in the interferometer would lead to failure of simultaneous observation of wave and particle behaviors. The internal freedoms of quantum objects could be harnessed to probe both the which-way information and the interference pattern for the center-of-mass motion. That quantum objects can behave beyond the wave-particle duality and the complementarity principle would stimulate new conceptual examination and exploration of quantum theory at a deeper level.

On the contribution of a hard galactic plane component to the excesses of secondary particles

The standard model of cosmic ray propagation has been very successful in explaining all kinds of galactic cosmic ray spectra. However, high precision measurement have recently revealed an appreciable discrepancy between data and model expectations, from spectrum observations of γ-rays, e＋/e- and probably the B/C ratio starting from -10 GeV energy. In this work, we propose that a hard galactic plane component, supplied by the fresh cosmic ray sources and detained by local magnetic fields, can contribute additional secondary particles interacting with local materials. By properly choosing the intensity and spectral index of the harder component up to multi-TeV energy, a two-component T-ray spectrum is obtained and agrees very well with the observation. Simultaneously, the expected neutrino numbers from the galactic plane could contribute - 60% of IceCube observed neutrino number below a few hundreds of TeV under our model. In addition to these studies, we find that the same pp-collision process responsible for the excess gamma ray emission could account for a significant amount of the positron excess, but a more detailed mechanism is needed for a full agreement. It is expected that the excesses in the p/p and B/C ratio will show up when energy is above ,-10 GeV. We look forward this model being tested in the near future by new observations from AMS02, IceCube, AS% HAWC and future experiments such as LHASSO, HiSCORE and CTA.

Toward understanding genetic mechanisms of complex traits in rice

Rice is the primary carbohydrate staple cereal feeding the world population. Many genes, known as quantitative trait loci （QTLs）, con- trol most of the agronomically important traits in rice. The identification of QTLs controlling agricultural traits is vital to increase yield and meet the needs of the increasing human population, but the progress met with challenges due to complex QTL inheritance. To date, many QTLs have been detected in rice, including those responsible for yield and grain quality; salt, drought and submergence tolerance; disease and insect resistance; and nutrient utilization efficiency. Map-based cloning techniques have enabled scientists to successfully fine map and clone approximately seventeen QTLs for several traits. Additional in-depth functional analyses and characterizations of these genes will provide valuable assistance in rice molecular breeding.

Antioxidant Effects of Oats Avenanthramides on Human Serum

The antioxidant ability of capsules containing oats avenanthramides on human body was evaluated in present *** people were randomized to supplementation with oats-derived avenanthramides capsules or placebo for 1 *** lipid peroxides and antioxidant status were *** 8 capsules （containing 3.12 mg avenanthramides） groups,the levels of serum superoxide dismutase （SOD） and reduced glutathione hormone （GSH） were significantly increased by 8.4 and 17.9%,respectively （P0.05）,and malondialdehyde （MDA） level significantly decreased by 28.1%.The total cholesterol （TC）,triglyceride （TG）,and low density lipoprotein cholesterol （LDL-C） levels were lowered by 11.1,28.1,and 15.1%,respectively （P0.05）.The high density blood lipoprotein cholesterol （HDL-C） levels in the same treat was increased by 13.2%.Based on our research,it can be concluded that oats extract containing avenanthramides possessed a high antioxidative activity on *** indicated that oat avenanthramides could be used to prevent hyperlipemic and angiocardiopathy.

Review on water leakage control in distribution networks and the associated environmental benefits

Water supply is the primary element of an urban system. Due to rapid urbanization and water scarcity, maintaining a stable and safe water supply has become a challenge to many cities, whereas a large amount of water is lost from the pipes of distribution systems. Water leakage is not only a waste of water resources, but also incurs great socio-economic costs. This article presents a comprehensive review on the potential water leakage control approaches and specifically discusses the benefits of each to environmental conservation. It is concluded that water leakage could be further reduced by improving leakage detection capability through a combination of predictive modeling and monitoring instruments, optimizing pipe maintenance strategy, and developing an instant pressure regulation system. The environment could benefit from these actions because of water savings and the reduction of energy consumption as well as greenhouse gas emissions.

TagCombine： Recommending Tags to Contents in Software Information Sites

Nowadays, software engineers use a variety of online media to search and become informed of new and interesting technologies, and to learn from and help one another. We refer to these kinds of online media which help software engineers improve their performance in software development, maintenance, and test processes as software information sites. In this paper, we propose TagCombine, an automatic tag recommendation method which analyzes objects in software information sites. TagCombine has three different components： 1） multi-label ranking component which considers tag recommendation as a multi-label learning problem; 2） similarity-based ranking component which recommends tags from similar objects; 3） tag-term based ranking component which considers the relationship between different terms and tags, and recommends tags after analyzing the terms in the objects. We evaluate TagCombine on four software information sites, Ask Different, Ask Ubuntu, Feecode, and Stack Overflow. On averaging across the four projects, TagCombine achieves recall@5 and recallS10 to 0.619 8 and 0.762 5 respectively, which improves TagRec proposed by Al-Kofahi et al. by 14.56% and 10.55% respectively, and the tag recommendation method proposed by Zangerle et al. by 12.08% and 8.16% respectively.
